Staff was fantastic. Food was great - gym in particular was excellent esp the pool. I also did two spa service which were wonderful. Attention to detail through and through. The room was surprisingly large. I was here for the Tokyo marathon and the hotel even surprised me afterwards with an after marathon health food gift.

I can't think of anything -

The facilities and the staff. Except for the reception, all of them were very kind and responsive. Everyone from in-room dining, laundry service, house keeping, health club, and the staff at the entrance provided impecable services and made us feel very welcomed.

Low value for money. There was a line at the breakfast with more than 20 mins wait to get in at 07:00AM, which is the opening time. In my opinion this is unacceptable. The food selection was not that varied. Compared to the other departments, the reception needs to step up their game. They were not as warm and welcoming or particularly accomodating. Nobody picked up the phone on 4 separate occasions, and it was a hassle to prolongue our stay.

Lets begin to explore this great facility! As far as I saw during my stay the location of the hotel was very good. Not too crowded located, nor too far from city centre. It was not crowded, silence and peace surround you, meanwhile very central located. Especially you are just seconds away from Tokyo central metro station that you could either use all Shinkansen, metro, national railway etc. Hotel was very luxury decorated, electronic systems are useful (not exist for just to see), absolutely and deeply clean, well educated and smile, helpful staff. Concierge was especially good for advices and bookings. We just had a breakfast one time with all family, I believe the breakfast was fair enough for international guests, price/benefit balance was good. Shut down service for evenings was very systematic and makes you feel great with refreshments everytime for bathroom amenities and your needs(towel, bathrope). Bathroom amenities were high qualified and I liked them too much which I use personally in my own home. We also used few times the restaurant and they cared about our special requirements carefully and respects our preferences. Overally, if the location will be Tokyo, Shangri La would be the best choice you would ever make. Highly recommended. A stunning hotel in a great location to make the most of Tokyo.

Our stay at your hotel was exceptional! The service truly stood out, especially when a staff member accompanied us to the Shinkansen. This thoughtful gesture made navigating so much easier and stress-free. We also want to commend the room service ladies who handled the turn-down service. They were incredibly kind and friendly, adding a personal touch to our stay. Thank you for making our experience so memorable. We will definitely be recommending your hotel to others!

A little on the dearer side however still worth the price.

Well this hotel is without exception the best I have experienced. We opted to have club lounge access which made the room extremely expensive but the club lounge was just wonderful with food and drink options outstanding. Location perfect virtually at Tokyo station. We took the Haneda airport electric trains but in hindsight with all our luggage wished we had taken a taxi. The room was beautiful, pyjamas so gorgeous I had to buy some to bring home, the staff were charming and the club lounge breakfast was unbelievably good and made to order. Cocktail 2 hours was first class. Views phenomenal of city & sky tree and the meet & greet service when you get off the train at Tokyo station took the stress out of our first visit.

This hotel is on another level superb. It was so expensive though, by a big margin far the highest price per night than we would usually pay but you get what you pay for in quality of service, quality of everything. The club lounge was out of this world amazing. I would have stayed another night pre cruise but Yokohama hotels were 1/3 of the price.

Room was large and location was great next to Tokyo station. Staff were very friendly in all areas. Dining area and lobby were upscale. High tea service was delicious.

Rooms were dated and a bit dark. Concierge when asked for recommendations chose very upscale restaurants that were $1000+ US dollars . Was looking for good food but didn’t need to burn a hole in my pocket every night. Staff in dining area was a weird vibe and felt like many were in training. Different servers asked same questions and didn’t seem to know what to do.

This was our first stay at Shangri-La Tokyo, and it exceeded all expectations. The location was incredibly convenient, situated right next to Tokyo Station with abundance of shopping and food options. The in-room dining was exceptional—every dish we tried was exquisitely prepared and absolutely perfect. Our room was the epitome of luxury, and the 24-hour gym was a great convenience for my son. The in-room amenities were thoughtfully curated and of outstanding quality. We've stayed at many five-star hotels around the world, but this one is, without a doubt, the definitive winner.

The entrance was not obviously easy to spot.

The visit exceeded our expectations and we have visited 4 different 5 Stars Hotels in Tokio. The feeling when you enter the Hotel, you feel like you are in another world. Beautiful flowers, music everywhere. Elevator was so nice with the chandelier on the ceiling, Location - TOP!! 1 minute walk to Tokio Station. Reception, Breakfast, Swimingpool, latecheck out, limusine service, Rooms... everything was perfect. The staff - the best in Tokio, because there were so nice - not fake, natural and helpful. We also left the whole luggage in hotel when we went to Kyoto - 4 huge pieces - No Problem. We loved every minute of our stay!! We will definitely come back.

Breakfast was very good with nice variety of food available. The staff at the restaurant were wonderful, the service could not have been better. Being alone I observed the staff and customers and noticed one of the staff, Sujeen Houg, always went above and beyond what was required of her. The entire staff at the Horizon lounge were fantastic. Everyone working at that hotel made me feel welcome and important.
