Value for money was exceptional - spotless room with plenty of towels - free pyjamas to use - unlimited amenity items.. facemasks, moisturizer, sun cream, toothbrushes, tea, bath salts.. the list goes on - fantastic location, 3 different metro stations within a 10 min walk (including Tokyo Central Station) - friendly staff - aircon was great and worked consistently - shower pressure and temp was good

I stayed at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kanda-Otemachi for a few nights during my trip to Japan and was really pleased with my experience. The hotel is in a quiet but central area, just a short walk from Kanda Station and not far from Tokyo Station — perfect for getting around the city or catching a Shinkansen. The room was compact, as expected in Tokyo, but very clean, modern, and efficiently designed. It had everything I needed — a comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a mini fridge, TV, and a full set of toiletries. I also appreciated the quick and easy self check-in process. The staff were polite and helpful, and I liked the free coffee in the lobby. There were also vending machines on the floor, which came in handy. Overall, it was a comfortable and affordable place to stay in the heart of Tokyo. I’d definitely choose this hotel again!

The entire hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The room was small and although it was difficult to move around after unpacking my suitcase, I still rate it positively. It was very clean. The toilet and shower worked perfectly, as did the air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable - after a whole day of sightseeing in Tokyo I could get a proper rest. The location is excellent. 2-3 minutes walk to Kanda Station and 10-15 minutes walk to Tokyo Station from where many train lines depart, including the shinkansen. I would definitely choose this hotel again or one of the Sotetsu Fresa Inn chain.

It's a minor thing, but there were only two washing machines available and I had to wait until late to wash my clothes. Unfortunately, the dryer didn't wash my clothes properly and I had to hang them in the room.

Great location, several train lines nearby including Yamanote. Walking distance to Akihabara. The staff is always helpful and kind. The room is small, but that is to be expected in Tokyo - and despite that, we managed to open the biggest luggage fully, haha. The room is also cosy, the extras such as face sheet mask or bath salt (perfect to relax sore feet after a whole day on them in it!) very nice extra touch.

It’s not that we did not like it, it is also probably a local experience kind of thing, but the window overlooked another building wall. Just a heads up for those who might find it uncomfortable. For us it was extra local charm!

I stayed here for 4 nights. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Kanda Station (Ginza Line / JR Line), and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. From Kanda, it only takes about 15 minutes to get to Shinjuku, which was super convenient. The room is compact, as expected in Japan, but clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. I also liked that the lobby provides all the basic amenities like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Overall, great value for the location and service. I’d be happy to stay here again.

The bathtub drain was a bit clogged, which slightly affected the overall experience. Other than that, everything was great.

This was a very conveniently located place to stay during our vacation in Tokyo. We appreciated being so close to the Kanda train line. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the variety of free amenities available in the lobby (the bath salts and face masks were particularly nice after long days of walking around).

Beds were not as comfortable as other hotels we experienced during our trip. The fire alarm also accidently went off at 4:30am one morning, which was disorienting. There are only two washing machines in the whole hotel and the cycles last 120 minutes, so it was challenging to find times when the machines were available.

Continently located near the JR Kanda station. Only one stop away from Tokyo, was easy to navigate straight from the airport. The station is well connected to other lines. Lots of konbi stores nearby. I went to Lawsons and seven eleven 3 am in the morning and felt safe. Room was a bit small but very clean. Managed to get a tempur pillow on my last night at the hotel.

When I was arrived the staff interfered with me trying to self check in and made me go to the counter. I had trouble with their laundry machine taking money from my IC card and I had to walk to the station late at night to print out the balance just. One member of staff insisted it didn’t until I said I only used my card at the train station last. Their machine does not have a record of how much it takes and what time.

We had a great room (1002) - had a large window. The room is very well designed (I'm a building designer) and the details are excellent - someone has thought of everything (from heated mirror to shelving to 'sitting area' facilities to power point/usb locations to lighting placement, to hanging space etc) and there's a convenient spot for everything. The bed was comfortable and being able to select our own extra pillows from the reception foyer is a great idea - I'm fussy about my pillows. Being able to choose whether or not to use room service is a good idea, too - for three nights we had no interruptions (particularly nice, because we were unwell) and there's no need for fresh towels every day. It was great having a spot in the hotel (floor 2) to use a microwave, access a vending machine and to do some washing. Reception staff are friendly and very helpful. It was no trouble for them to store our bags at reception before check-in and after check-out. The location is great - easy short walk to Kanda station to get to anywhere in Tokyo. Lots of nearby shops (anything and everything a traveller needs) and restaurants - the Indian restaurant recommended by staff is excellent.

We travel 'light' but I can see that folk who travel with large suitcases or lots of bags might have difficulty finding a spot for them in the room although there is room at the end of one of the beds to stack them overnight. During the day there's no problem putting them on the bed to access them - I was very amused that another reviewer thought that was 'inconvenient'!

Great location, very convenient with Kanda Station just a couple of blocks away, Otemachi Station not much farther, numerous konbini and even a number of supermarkets in the area. Customer service, ease of checking in and out, bed, room, amenities, facilities are great. I have stayed and will stay there again. Highly recommended if you want somewhere strategic yet off the tourist track as your base camp for your Tokyo adventure. Look for Nicole and her excellent personality and helpful nature, very much appreciated!

There was a very slight musty smell the first time I entered the bathroom, but the spray took care of it after several use

Very friendly and helpful staff. Well-equipped lobby. Clean and comfortable in a convenient location - train station, restaurants and convenience stores all within a 5 min walk.

The room is as expected for a business hotel, but it is a little small for two people staying multiple nights. The coin laundry is convenient, but the dryer requires at least three rounds for clothes to become fully dry, so we had to get creative hanging them round the room. The clothes line in the shower and hangers helped with this. All in all, nothing major.
