Value for money was exceptional - spotless room with plenty of towels - free pyjamas to use - unlimited amenity items.. facemasks, moisturizer, sun cream, toothbrushes, tea, bath salts.. the list goes on - fantastic location, 3 different metro stations within a 10 min walk (including Tokyo Central Station) - friendly staff - aircon was great and worked consistently - shower pressure and temp was good

The entire hotel was very quiet and peaceful. The room was small and although it was difficult to move around after unpacking my suitcase, I still rate it positively. It was very clean. The toilet and shower worked perfectly, as did the air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable - after a whole day of sightseeing in Tokyo I could get a proper rest. The location is excellent. 2-3 minutes walk to Kanda Station and 10-15 minutes walk to Tokyo Station from where many train lines depart, including the shinkansen. I would definitely choose this hotel again or one of the Sotetsu Fresa Inn chain.

It's a minor thing, but there were only two washing machines available and I had to wait until late to wash my clothes. Unfortunately, the dryer didn't wash my clothes properly and I had to hang them in the room.

This was a very conveniently located place to stay during our vacation in Tokyo. We appreciated being so close to the Kanda train line. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the variety of free amenities available in the lobby (the bath salts and face masks were particularly nice after long days of walking around).

Beds were not as comfortable as other hotels we experienced during our trip. The fire alarm also accidently went off at 4:30am one morning, which was disorienting. There are only two washing machines in the whole hotel and the cycles last 120 minutes, so it was challenging to find times when the machines were available.

We had a great room (1002) - had a large window. The room is very well designed (I'm a building designer) and the details are excellent - someone has thought of everything (from heated mirror to shelving to 'sitting area' facilities to power point/usb locations to lighting placement, to hanging space etc) and there's a convenient spot for everything. The bed was comfortable and being able to select our own extra pillows from the reception foyer is a great idea - I'm fussy about my pillows. Being able to choose whether or not to use room service is a good idea, too - for three nights we had no interruptions (particularly nice, because we were unwell) and there's no need for fresh towels every day. It was great having a spot in the hotel (floor 2) to use a microwave, access a vending machine and to do some washing. Reception staff are friendly and very helpful. It was no trouble for them to store our bags at reception before check-in and after check-out. The location is great - easy short walk to Kanda station to get to anywhere in Tokyo. Lots of nearby shops (anything and everything a traveller needs) and restaurants - the Indian restaurant recommended by staff is excellent.

We travel 'light' but I can see that folk who travel with large suitcases or lots of bags might have difficulty finding a spot for them in the room although there is room at the end of one of the beds to stack them overnight. During the day there's no problem putting them on the bed to access them - I was very amused that another reviewer thought that was 'inconvenient'!

Great location, very convenient with Kanda Station just a couple of blocks away, Otemachi Station not much farther, numerous konbini and even a number of supermarkets in the area. Customer service, ease of checking in and out, bed, room, amenities, facilities are great. I have stayed and will stay there again. Highly recommended if you want somewhere strategic yet off the tourist track as your base camp for your Tokyo adventure. Look for Nicole and her excellent personality and helpful nature, very much appreciated!

There was a very slight musty smell the first time I entered the bathroom, but the spray took care of it after several use

Location, location, location. The close proximity to Kanda station was excellent (even for short legs, it's a 5 minute walk at most) - making getting around super easy. In addition, it's away from the noise of busy roads and bars giving the benefit of peacefully quiet nights. Now the hotel itself - it was immaculate, the staff were lovely and it had an excellent vending machine that accepted international cards. As a solo traveller the room was also perfectly comfortable and reminded me of university dorm rooms. I do understand why some couples may find it a little crampt for their liking, but I must point out that there is plenty of storage space under the beds so tripping over suitcases can be avoided. In summary, this hotel is a convenient base of operations for exploring the nearby areas - it represents efficiency and economical comfort, but not luxury. I'd happily return should I get the opportunity to visit Tokyo again.

Having a smoking room on the ground floor meant that you'd occasionally get a whiff of that stench as you walked in (sorry smokers, I hate the smell!).

This was the best place we stayed during our time in Japan. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was super clean. They had plenty of amenities in case you had forgotten something. There were also a couple of washing machines on the second floor that are easy and inexpensive to use. This hotel is also conveniently located. It’s only a five minute walk from Kanda Station where you can catch the JR Yamanote Line that loops around Tokyo. There are also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. If we ever get to return to Japan for another visit, we will stay here again.

Location is quite central tokyo, 5 min walk to the kanda station, jinbocho book street, tokyo station, imperial residence is within walking distance. Neighborhood is quiet while lots of restaurant and convenient store around train station. Facilities is well equipped and new, microwave, ice machine and etc,. tea pot and refridge in room. staff are polite and helpful. Hotel supply is very impressive, tea bag, coffee, bath salt, even lotion, sun screen and facial mask. definitely will try other soutetu hotel.

Great location near the station. Even if you want to walk, Tokyo station is just 15 minutes away on very flat and easy roads with nice view along the way. Rooms were typical of Sotetsu, simple but functional desk and cabinet. Air filter with humidifier function also provided! They do also have Airporter service for luggage forwarding which was very easy to use thanks to their 24/7 front desk support, had no trouble checking out and forwarding my luggage super early in the morning. There's also a lot of convenience store flanking the hotel so no issue there too!

Though it is still very well kept with clean rooms and toilets, you could feel the age of the hotel. For example the carpet in my room were slowly peeing upwards at the edge. Not enough to trip you, but enough for you to notice it. Toilet lighting were a little odd too, white light and fluctuates bright to dim to bright though my partner never noticed it. But toilet definitely could use brighter lighting.

The room is really nice and bigger than I expected. There are so many amenities you can take. It’s very clean and I felt like it was well isolated from sound. The subway station was very close and Kanda offers many lines so it was so easy to get around to what I wanted to do.

This is not a big deal. But since there is a Sotsetsu Fresa Inn Kanda, it gets confusing finding them on the map. When I researched it in google Maps, I found the Kanda one by just simply writing in Kanda so i thought that was the one. Maybe putting a disclaimer would help others because I heard it’s a common problem.
