A little disappointing that there in no shuttle bus between 12:00 and 16:00.

Location was perfect and shuttle bus make the airport transfer very easy

On arrival I was asked to sign a privacy declaration which was presented in the second page which gave the impression it was assumed I wouldn’t want to read what I was being asked to sign and in addition to the privacy statement there was also a declaration to accept direct marketing with no option to decline the marketing which should not have been mandatory. When I asked the receptionist they looked at me blankly as if they didn’t know the details of what they were asking me to sign and even the manager seemed surprised when I pointed to the direct marketing section and said they absolutely wouldn’t do that but I had to sign the form. I would advise updating the form to at least make the direct marketing statement optional.

From only staying in hostels this trip, this hotel was pure luxury. The standards in Japan are high and even for my previous stays in different types of accommodation - this hotel was great. Ice machines, vending machines and also washing machines which was a great bonus as I needed to wash before I travelled back. The shuttle bus service is also fantastic - make sure you are there early though to guarantee seats. Check in system is easy and very quick. Convenience store across the street and countless food places in the area.

Location is terrific - very near a train station and HND airport. On arrival, I usually take the train, as the service is frequent and I do not have to locate or wait for their shuttle service. Going to the airport, I'll sometimes take their shuttle if it is convenient - it often fills up, so you need to be early! The hotel has generous offers for early check-in or late check-out. I didn't buy the breakfast option this time because I had an early flight, but the restaurant serves a very nice breakfast. This is one of my "go to" hotels when in Tokyo.

The standard check-in uses a kiosk, which is sometimes a bit of a challenge if you have just arrived from a long flight and would just like someone to help.

The distance from the airport was fair. Frequency of shuttle servie was also reasonable. Breakfast was served from very early in the morning at 05.30, so that we could have our breakfast at the hotel. It was convenient to have a convenient store just outside the hotel.

The selection of dinner menu at the restaurant was rather llimited to simple Italian and European food, the taste of dishes was just right for the prices though. The vending machines still could not take new bills of Japanese yen. We had to que at the front or at the casher of the restaurant to change to the old notes.

Family mart is just opposite the hotel. 7/11 and Fuji mart is also nearby. 6. Free shuttle bus, The drivers were very nice persons who helped everybody to load the luggage. Every half an hour there is a bus. 7. Microwave oven in the floor where you can heat your own meal. 8. Coin laundry was also there.

First of all, knowing that this is a business hotel, we expected to have a very small room, which is a standard in Japan, but actually, the room was more spacious than expected. The staff was very nice and helped us book an "izakaya" for dinner, close to the hotel, which wasn't the hotel's restaurant. We got special amenities for kids and they were super happy. In the past, when we had very early flights from Haneda, we slept at a hotel inside the airport, but this time the price seemed way to high to stay there. JAL City Hotel was actually very close to Haneda, had a convenient shuttle bus very early in the morning (5 am) and is was very good value for money compared to other options.

Luxurious reception area with very welcoming, helpful staff. Nice free pyjamas, quality toiletries etc. Very clean room minus some dust we found on the wall. If you arrive at night, walk to the shrine closeby, it’s so beautiful and no one else was there, the photos at night with no other people are spectacular! Short walk to lots of restaurants, bars etc.

My partner felt claustrophobic - extremely small rooms! But, of course this is normal in Japan. Free airport shuttle bus is great but make sure you know how to get to it from Haneda intl airport - we found it tricky to locate after the directions we found online sent us to the hotels staff shuttle. You have to catch a free bus to a different terminal, then go outside to an area across the street to wait for hotel shuttles. In the morning from the hotel was really easy, though.

Convenient location for an airport overnight stay. Staff were polite and helpful. Room was OK...bit small but adequate for an overnight stay. Really nice (spectacular even) temple easy walk just down the road. There is a convenience 'mart' across the road and a quite acceptable reasonably priced in-house restaurant. We arrived mid/late afternoon from Osaka with an 0830 flight to Sydney next morning. They have a shuttle bus to Haneda. If we were in the same circumstances, we would not hesitate to do it again.

Room was a bit on the compact side but what do you expect from an overnight airport hotel?

I had a very satisfying stay at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Its proximity to Haneda Airport and the free shuttle service to and from the airport made it extremely convenient for travel. The self check-in kiosk made the process fast and hassle-free, which was a big plus after a long flight. There are also several restaurants, convenience stores, and drug stores nearby, which added to the overall convenience.

While the hotel is a bit away from the city center and may not be ideal for romantic getaways or family vacations, it’s a great choice for solo travelers or those visiting for business.
