We were a group of three adults and three children. Four of us stayed in a quad room with two double beds, while two stayed in a studio with one double bed. We stayed here for five nights. We arrived at 2:30 PM, and the staff assisted us with check-in. They kindly allowed us to access our room earlier than expected and also arranged for our rooms to be on the same floor and close to each other, which we really appreciated. The hotel provided everything you could possibly need. There was a self-service station by the elevator where guests could pick up various amenities. The toilet had buttons to open and close the lid—a great feature—along with multiple washing functions, just like most toilets in Japan. On the second floor, there were plenty of washing machines and dryers, a small gym with a ping-pong table, and a large dining area available to all guests. One evening, we used the dining area to enjoy various takeout meals together, which made for a cozy and enjoyable experience. Please note that heated brushes from countries with higher voltage than Japan cannot be used without a transformer, and it was surprising that the hotel not only had them available but also lent them out. We did not see this amenity at another hotel in Ginza. We didn’t have breakfast at the restaurant, so we can’t comment on that. We thought the hotel’s location was excellent—not right in the middle of the busiest area but still within walking distance, about 10 minutes from Shibuya Scramble Crossing.

Honestly, we have nothing negative to say about this hotel. We were all very happy with our stay and would gladly return to lyf Hotel Shibuya!

Location es great for last days in Tokyo. You get to be near every store to do your last- minute shopping, specially since Mega Don Quijote is just right away. Room was quite spacious and shower and bathroom were great! It just opened on December 2024 so everything seems quite new. Make sure to download ASR app and create a profile, you can use the app as a virtual key for the room, plus you get to have one more hour to check out.

Water dispenser was located at second floor. It would be nice to have one in every floor. Other than that, 10/10 hotel!

Modern, clean, nice design, perfect location

Room was too small for the price. I get that it's in Shibuya, we moved to another hotel that's closer to the Shibuya station and practically paid almost the same price for almost 30% more room size and 50% more pillows.

Brand new cute hotel in the center of everything, seriously! We can go shopping jugs step the door! super friendly and helpful staff. Thanks for making our Japan journey even more memorable ~ :)

Great location, new facilities, friendly staff, catered to foreigners

Small rooms, typical of Tokyo

The location is fantastic, right in the center of Shibuya. The hotel offers all the necessary amenities. The staff is very attentive and friendly, they always greeted us when we arrived and left! The music selection at the reception was great, always lively! They have a common area on the second floor, where there is a co-work, kitchen and a gym. The hotel offers various events to guests. The week we were there, they organized a cinema session, which unfortunately we were unable to participate in. The hotel is so vibrant and cool! We loved our stay!

The only thing we didn't like is that the breakfast was very expensive and we chose to have coffee in the nearby stores.

Location was super close to shibuya crossing but managed to still be quiet. Great for solo travellers or couples looking to meet new people as they run social events in the hotel. The common kitchen area was a nice touch to again create a community feel. Rooms were small but manageable and always tidy.

We would have loved if the gym space was utilised a little better. It was pretty small and half was filled with a pool table. Also the room was lacking ventilation in particular there was no bathroom fan (for us at least) so it left a damp smell in the bathroom. We would open the bedroom window to try and help but a bathroom fan would easily fix the issue.

Location is GOD TEIR. Literally 1 minute walk from bars and shops and can get to most places you need within a 10 minute walk (but still tucked away so not insanely loud at night). Super close to major train station so great base to explore Tokyo. Place is very cute and clean, staff are super friendly and helpful. Shared space is good too.

My only gripe with this place is the side by side beds were a little pricey for what they are (pretty much the standard double bed with a line down the middle) but that’s probably my fault for not researching properly. Still a 10

Great location, fun quirky style and a comfortable room! As always in Tokyo, space was a bit tight but the room was pretty functionally designed so it wasn’t much of a problem. It was very clean when we got in, but cleaning on the next day wasn’t too impressive (i.e. due to how small the trash bin was, we had left a mug with a teabag in it and that stayed after the cleaning). Other than that, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We played rock paper scissors for a free breakfast which was fun. I gotta say though, although the breakfast was tasty, it’s absolutely not worth its high price. Location is great and one can find good food within 5 min of walking.
