Everything was perfect. The guy at the reception was super nice with us. Beds are comfortable.

Even that we knew it, the room was in the 5th floor without elevator. The first day is ok but every time we wanted to take a shower, cooking something or just chill we had to go down and after up again. Also due the dormitory is super big, the possibilities of having someone snoring is easy (as in our case).

Comfortable hostel in a nice area with good coffeeshops around and right next to the subway station. At first I was afraid the 20 people dorm would be too much, but it was actually quite quiet

I liked the feeling of privacy, location was PERFECT!!! 3 subway stations are really close to the hostel. Convinis, markets, restaurants are in close proximity. The staff was kind and english speaking. I wasnt lucky to get a lower bed but the ladder steps were wide enough. I liked that there were enough space above my head so i didnt have to slouch. I was worried that im gonna be hot as i am a person who prefers cold but luckily it wasnt stuffy at all. The blankets were also warm. All the guests were quiet and respectful of others. There was a gentleman who snored really loud but the hostel provides free earplugs that cancelled the noise out really well. I liked the showers! Plenty of space to put your stuff and to dress/undress.

Not much space to open your bag, especially if you have a big one. There was a concrete beam above my bed so i banged my head rlly hard twice

The property is amazing and staff is super nice as well. In terms of location it is the best, closer to all public transport. 7 Eleven, Lawson and family mart all around at walking distance. There is a fruit & vegetable supermarket as well just next to the hostel. Beds are comfortable as well.

There was no one at the reception before checkin time, but that is pretty understandable. But, there were no instructions about waiting area before checkin. Had to visit a restaurant to use washroom. Would be great convenience if washrooms are accessible before checkin since checkin time is at 4:00PM.

Yuya and the rest of the team are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and will make you feel welcome as you come and go. The location is fantastic with a major station, Akihabara, only a 10 minute walk away, and a number of other stations all within walking distance. I thought that the beds were quite comfortable and I was able to sleep soundly for the whole stay. Free ear plugs are available to help if other guests are snoring/restless during the night.

The building doesn't have an elevator. It gets pretty brutal going up and down the stairs every day.

It has everything that you can ask for. It is next to the subway system, grocery store, convenience store, and lots of restaurants run by locals. Common room was pretty useful for socializing, eating, and working on laptop. They offer free ear plugs, which are sufficient for mitigating most common noises.

Unfortunately the building is next to a major street and you can hear the traffic from even far within the building, so you can only block them out if you use the ear plugs that they offer for free. I had the top bunk that is immediately underneath an air duct, which made it hard to maneuver around without hitting my head. During busy hours you might have to wait a bit to be able to shower because there are only two in the whole building for each sexes. I couldn’t sleep the first night of the stay because some travelers were loud in the common room, but it was never a problem after that. Typically, you can expect things to be quiet enough to have a good sleep. The manager also decided to patrol the building at night after I made the complaint to him.

Perfectly organised guest house, clear instructions, close to the metro, soft mattresses, perfect WiFi. PLENTY OF SPACE for your stuff next to your bed. Japanese plugs + USB next to your bed (but some USB plugs got broken by guests) Common room can accommodate around 14 seated people, and there are 60 beds total. Despite all beds being occupied, the common room was never full when I was there. Everything is cleaned perfectly. Bedroom temperature very well controlled (stayed end of march) I used the clothes dryer for ¥200 - 1 hour of drying. I think it's the same price for washing.

Rooms are a bit noisy (machinery, room lock, toilets, other guests) but only if you are unlucky in your bed placement. And with (the free) ear-plugs you have no problem. The ladders are a bit steep to get to the top bunk but it's easy to put your luggage up first using the dedicated curtain, so you can go up unencumbered. The common sinks get dirty quickly and are cleaned only once a day. I once had a bed duvet with a strong sweaty smell. Towels rental ¥100 but you get 1 free for your first booking and another one free when you leave a review.

It's very clean, very close to a station and convenience stores. The staff is also really nice. The common space is also great.

One time when I was there I got a bunk bad which was way too close to another bunk bed, so it was difficult to climb up into my bed, especially when the person from the bed on the other side was also there. I personally don't like to have to make my bed with the linen and clean up before check out, but I also understand that this is a way to keep it a bit cheaper. There is not enough space for shoes for all the beds, so there were a few times I couldn't properly put my shoes on the shelve, because it was already full.

Location was good near main subway line with lots of convenience stores. Comfortable bed. Affordable and clean.

Very tight space. Not many showers toilets. Laundry was cheap but the dryer is bad - we had to hang our cloths up around our bed to finishing drying. Need earplugs as noisy with large dorm room. Late check in was annoying - being able to check in after 9 was fine, but you had to make payment between 10-11 the next morning. Nobody on reception before so you waste some time on your first day hanging around.

Super clean, including toilet and shower areas Quiet location, away from the hustle and bustle but close to train stations Good amount of space to store large luggage Cosy little bed space equipped with everything you need - charging ports, hangers, light, privacy curtain

Super steep stairs, no elevator, very hard to carry large suitcases up the stairs Showers on the second floor, bit annoying when you’re on the third/fourth/fifth floor Only two female showers - seems like way too little for the number of people there! Lucky I didn’t have issues because I either showered late at night or super early.
