The staff courteous and professional. Forwarded luggage to airport and received luggage from Kyoto. Laundry machine in room. Hotplate and plenty of electrical outlets and a safe.

The bath tap was too hot and wouldn't adjust. Scaffolding construction and screening on the balcony mate it too dirty to walk out on. Was alerted to this before starting but no price adjustment offered.

The room is bigger than the usual Japanese rooms. Really comfortable. The location is near the station. Lots of restaurants, izakayas, and convinience stores nearby. A couple of drugstores for medicine are nearby, too.

The property was a adequate. Could be a bit more modern, but overall a great place to stay in Tokyo

We loved the cozy neighbourhood vibes around the hotel, as well as the big size of the room and the comfortable bed. Everything was clean. Especially the staff was super welcoming and always helpful. Thank you a lot! The next station was super close, there were lots of supermarkets and konbinis and places to eat. To experience more nightlife you only habe to walk 10 minutes to young and hip Naka Meguro. The bigger sights were also easily to reach by train.

Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing construction while we were visiting, so we couldn‘t use the balcony and the view was a little obstructed. But this will be done soon, so future guests won‘t be bothered.

I think every room has a balcony and the view is beautiful. I got lucky and was able to see Mt. Fuji in one of the mornings of my stay there. The place is spacious for Japan hotels and was an extremely good price. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station and 10 minutes or about 2-3 stops away from Shibuya. Most other places were about an hour of travel on train, including Disneyland and Haneda Airport which is awesome to me and it felt like 20 minutes instead. The staff speaks English and are super friendly! There is a washer/dryer (that I did not use so I cannot comment on that) and a small kitchen area with a stove, microwave, and mini fridge. There is a pan and dishes to use. The bathroom is pretty spacious for Japan and the toilet seat is heated!!!! Felt amazing lol. There is also the bidet options that I as an American was afraid to use lol. There is a TV and a small dining area as well. As well as a 7 Eleven, Family Mart, Grocery store, and pharmacy 2-3 minutes away from the hotel. There is shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrushes all included inside the hotel. You are also able to rent free of charge (or borrow lol) hair curlers/straighteners!! Which is awesome because I forgot mine ha.

The early check in isn’t until 12 PM (but they will take care of your stuff for you if you would like to leave it there until it is time for check in). I was charged about $44 for checking in at 12.

Despite the central location, close to train station Yutenji ( 2-3 min walk), the area was calm and quiet. Not touristy. Many convenience stores nearby. Room was silent, as we had asked for. We had one with washing machine and kitchenette, which was practical since the hotel does not offer breakfast. Bed was a little on the hard side, which I think is often the case in Japan, but we slept fine.

The rooms could do with a little renovation. Carpet was stained and needed cleaning. But no big problem!

The location was perfect. Yutenji itself is quite nice if you like chill neighbourhoods with cool local spots, but the hotel was also 3 minutes away from the train station, which can get you to Shibuya in 10 minutes for example (and most places in less than 30). The room was decently sized and it had a nice balcony where I could tests the weather before getting out. Bed was quite comfortable (on the firmer side) and with a choice of pillows. Very glad to have had a humidifier in the room! I picked this hotel for the kitchenette and the washer/dryer included in the room and both worked great and were very convenient to have during a long stay. Loved the clear instructions in english on how to use the washer.

No real issues, but there were a few things that could be improved. The kitchenette was useful but I wish it was a bit more stocked. For example a pan, even as a rental item, would have been nice. There was a huge tv but it only had a pay-by-day system, it would have been nice if you had the chance to connect your own streaming accounts or youtube to it. Finally, it also would have been cute to have a chair and a little table on the balcony!
