The staff on reception (shout out to Yusef) and in the restaurant for breakfast were so friendly and helpful, with recommendations for things to do or dinner and happy to chat about Jordanian life in general. As there were so few guests during our stay breakfast was presented as a buffet at our table. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The location was perfect for us, it was close to Aqaba Fort and just outside the busy markets area so lots going on but still quiet enough that we weren't disturbed at night. The room we had was large, with its own kitchenette and seating area and the bed was large and comfortable. We went to Wadi Rum for 2 nights during our trip and the hotel kept the bulk of our luggage in their storeroom while we were away so we only needed to take the essentials with us and when we returned (early) from Wadi Rum they gave us an early check in for the 2nd part of our stay with them. Our stay was during Ramadan, and some people we talked to at home also said the war in Gaza had put them off going, but there is no reason not to go to Jordan (and stay at the Taj Hotel when visiting Aqaba) - we found the people and the country wonderful.

The drains in the shower room / toilet tend to overflow if the shower tray fills up and the shower head wouldn't stay in position. There is an overhead shower head which works fine and, once it comes through, there was plenty of hot water.

Everything you need is within walking distance, adding to the overall comfort and accessibility of the stay. To top it all off, the prices are very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. Given the high-quality service, prime location, and overall experience, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great stay at an affordable price. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

Location was good. Room was clean. Overall stay was all right.

Bathroom was too much congested. And shower area was too small.

I liked the food, the room and the staff. The staff were excellent. They were very welcoming and even offered help with travel, activities and anything logistics-wise which we might’ve needed help for. This was very helpful in the end and even saved us some morning. The staff were also very hospitable and gave us a room upgrade due to us being unable to stay the first night. The room (suite) was very spacious and had an excellent bathroom. The fridge was also a terrific, underrated edition to the kitchen. Overall, we were very impressed.

The view outside was terrible and the wardrobe wouldn’t open/shut very well at all. There was very limited food selection and very little familiar food varieties for my European friend so he was hungry.

Everything was suitable for us. Location was excelent, a few steps from the historical places. Rooms were large and cleen. Breakfast was enough for us. The receptionist was etraordinary, was very kind and helpful in every little thing we needed, e.g. practical of advise how we can reach certain points in the city the easiest way and where we can find the best money exchange rate. We enjoyed our stay in this hotel the first day we arrived in Amman so much that it was no question which hotel we should book for the last day of our round trip.

The staff were amazing! Special thanks to Sultan from reception. He was very knowledgeable and kind. He was very patient with us and answered all our questions with excellent customer service, gave us many recommendations for places to visit in Aqaba, and even helped us book our Wadi Rum excursion. The AC and WiFi were also very strong. Excellent location and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, supermarket and beach!

Confortable and clean room. Hotel well located (close to the heart of the city, with shops, restaurants, market, public beach). Nice staff. We booked a room and were upgraded with a suite (not high season). Thank you again!!

Room a bit old (furniture, bathroom). No safe box available in the room. Breakfast buffet with no fresh food (e.g. Fruits from the can while there are plenty of fresh fruits in the market, not real orange juice).

The atmosphere is quiet and clean, creating a peaceful environment. It is a very good place for families, particularly Islamic families, as it provides Islamic-compliant facilities, including prayer mats and a welcoming environment. The staff are exceptionally helpful, with Mohammad at the reception standing out for his cooperation and dedication to excellent service.
