My stay at Afnan hotel was great! The staff was very friendly, especially Abdosh and Waleed. The hotel is centrally located in Aqaba for a great price, near many shops and restaurants, as well as near the beach. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked perfectly, and the room was clean and spacious. The reception was very helpful with recommendations on what to do in Aqaba. Waleed even chatted with me and bought me a coffee while I was waiting for my room to be ready. Abdosh was quick to help me with the shower temperature when it was too hot. He went above and beyond and even showed me around some of the city in his spare time, which was so nice having a local show me their favorite spots. Abdosh also helped me sort out my scuba diving day which I appreciated so much. My stay in Aqaba was only a few days but because of the great team at Afnan, I was able to explore so much of the city! Overall, I had a lovely stay at Afnan, and the staff was very accommodating throughout my stay. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

The best hotel!! Excellent value. Amazing shower, super comfy bed. Great location, 5 mins walk from Arab Revolt plaza. Most of all the staff were so great. I arrived at the hotel in need of some respite, having had a bit of a stressful time travelling as a solo woman. I chose the right place! Khalid and Walid were so kind and respectful, and gave me all the space I needed whilst also being super helpful and giving lots of useful info about where to eat, etc. They even organised a scuba diving trip for me, got me an amazing price, and Walid waited in the taxi for an hour (!!) for me to finish as we were in the sea longer than planned (as I was enjoying it so much!) He didn’t charge me any extra for waiting, and just said he was happy I had a good time! I originally booked two nights, and ended up staying 5! Will hope to stay again when next in Aqaba :-)

I loved how big the shower/bathroom was - I was coming in from diving and needed a place to get the sand off me etc, and I was relieved that there was a real shower in the bathroom (not a shower over the toilet like other places I stayed in Aqaba). There was plentiful hot water, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. It also had a lift/elevator which I really appreciated being on a higher floor. It was good to be able to walk to restaurants in the evening.

Because it's located right in the centre of the town on a street of shops, I couldn't open the curtains of my room as there were people immediately outside - not too much of a problem as it's not like you're spending the day in the room and you want to be in the centre, but might just be worth getting those thin white curtains so you can have daylight in the room in the mornings. The place doesn't offer breakfast and despite being in the centre, I actually found it a bit hard to find a place to grab something in the morning.

Great place to stay for a few nights. The hotel is completely new so everything was well-kept. The room was clean and the staff very helpful. Would 100% stay again. Also great value for money.

The cleanest and the best maintained hotel that I've stayed in while in Jordan. And also the only hotel where nothing was broken in the room. The location is good, in the city centre and close to the public beach (but I'd definitely recommend going to the South Beach instead). The staff was extremely friendly and was always asking you if I had any issues. When I mentioned the poor sound isolation Mr. Mahmoud immediately offered me another room. Because I rejected it (I had earplugs), he brought me a bowl of nuts as the compensation.

The sound isolation in my room was very poor. I was close to the reception and I could hear all the small noises at night, like footsteps and the notifications on the receptor's phone. There was only one universal, Europlug/Schuko-compatible electrical socket in the room. Other sockets were British-only, I think.

Very central location. Friendly staff

We asked with our phone map in hand for advice whether we could keep our car where we parked it, they confirmed and we ended up with a parking ticket. Do double check with shop keepers around to be sure. They did give us a discount on the room price, which was a nice gesture. Other than this little (10JOD) hiccup, it was all great and I’d stay here again!!! :-)

Very kind crew (especially Khaled and Abdulrahman) They planned a diving trip for me in the city which was exceptional. They sent a private car to me to drop me off at the airport, which was a nice gesture. Overall, great hospitality, would highly recommend and definitely visit again.

Great location, outstanding help from man at check-in desk, room was clean and very comfortable, would absolutely stay again. You cannot go wrong. Very walkable from location for shopping and restaurants
