Beit Alshabaan Inn exceeded our expectations in every way! Mohammed and his family were warm and welcoming hosts who treated us like part of their own family. Their hospitality was genuine and heartfelt, making us feel right at home. The food was incredible, especially the delicious dishes prepared by Mohammed's mother - her cooking is truly blessed! The flavors and aromas reminded me of my childhood in Morocco, and it brought back fond memories. What truly stood out, however, was the family's willingness to help and offer guidance. Mohammed and his family provided us with excellent directions and insider tips on how to navigate and explore Petra, which greatly enhanced our experience. If you're looking for a place to stay that feels like home, with warm hosts and delicious food, look no further than Beit Alshabaan Inn. I really dont know how to describe my opinions about here. Everything was so amazing. From checkin to checkout it was an amazing experience. Mohammed is the kindest Jordanese i have ever met he is such a great professional. He is doing his best to make you feel like at home. Breakfast was so amazing with such a great view of the city. because you are looking at it from the hill. Beds were so comfortable and room was so big. Great wifi and equipments in the room were working so well. I really recommend here , you dont need to look any other hotel for Petra. Just book here and enjoy one of the most amazing ancient city of Petra the other day!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!

We booked during Ramadan and weren't sure which restaurants would be open in the afternoon. The staff were willing to cook a homemade meal upon on our arrival. It was affordable (12jd per adult, 6jd per child) and it was delicious. The terrace where we ate was relaxing and had a beautiful view. The rooms were clean and sheets smelled fresh.

We stayed in the room with 3 twin beds. It was perfect for our family of 4. Nothing major to complain about but just that the bathroom door was a little hard to keep closed and we had a difficult time using the sink faucet. We had to turn it at a certain angle in order for it to work correctly. Also the walls are a bit thin so if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs.

We organized dinner at the hotel for the 2 nights we were there beforehand, It was amazing with hummus, local bread, local salad, a bid main dish and a lot of rice, dessert, fruits, soda (14JOD per person if I am not wrong). There was water in the room. Breakfast was also very nice, with hummus, freshly made eggs, coffee, juce etc. The hotel also offer the lunch box service, 5 jod with 2 sandwiches ì, fruit, juce and snacks, water, perfect to bring in your visit to Petra. The staff amazing, super nice and helpful with giving us information about Petra and different ways to visit the site, where to park etc. The room was spacious, clean, and on a silent hill. You cannot go by walk to the hotel since the road goes uphill, but it's just 5 min by car from the main gate. The hotel also have a private parking, We went in november 2023 and please keep on visiting Jordan because it's safe and beautiful with amazing people!

the only disadvantage was the location kind far from the Main Street and the attraction Petra. BE AWARE THAT THE CITY OF WADI MUSA IS IN A HILL, so if you choose this hotel you have to walk up like 20 minutes approximately from the Main Street or always take a taxi.

Mohammad and his family were such kind hearted, warm and welcoming hosts. The food Mohammad’s mom cooked for us was out of this world delicious. We even had a little medical situation with our 7yo and Mohammad and his dad were so helpful in getting medical care for him. That was beyond their call of duty and so kind of them to do.

We stayed for 2 nights. Communication with the host Mohammad was excellent and he was always at our disposal. He gave us tips during our stay on what to visit and where to eat. It is possible to have dinner in the facility for an extra charge. The room was clean, has hot water and air conditioning heating. The breakfast was rich and excellent. Mohammad thanks again for your hospitality and we hope to visit this wonderful country and wonderful people again :)

Very kind hosts and a family run business - This is a new property and as such some additional elements are being added which will no doubt further improve the experience. We ordered packed lunch/breakfast and it was quite good for the days at Petra. We ordered dinner two times and it was excellent, cooked by the owner's wife.

The hot water was not turned on until we asked. This should be on all the time. The prices for dinner were a bit on the high side but you can decide for yourself. The rooms while small are quite functional and a reasonable value.

Very nice stay in a new hotel, everything was clean and well kept. 5 minutes by car to Petra visitor centre. Great parking space right next to the hotel. Very friendly and helpful host, who provided us with all the necessary information. We were also able to get Shisha on a little terrace while enjoying the evening view of the city. They were offering also a breakfast and dinner option, we didn't try that because we were tight on a time but I think it is also very convenient. Hopefully we will be able to return soon.

It's a family run hotel. The owner was very nice and helpful. Everyone speaks english very well. The room was clean and had everything we needed. They also offer home cooked dinner/buffet, which is very delicious. It is cooked by the owner's wife and you can ask for vegetarian alternatives as well. It's a 20 minutes walk downhill to the Petra visitor center. We can definitely recommend this hotel!
