Rock Camp has an amazing location, very clean tents and bathrooms, and incredible staff! I have stayed in both the deluxe bubble tents and the standard square tents. These smaller tents are still fantastic with plenty of room and clean bathrooms. They also have a more traditional bedouin look on the inside. Breakfast was solid, and of course there are the pool and jacuzzi. Which are perfect after a day of exploring Petra. Also fantastic rocks to scramble on to see the sunset and even a spectacular little Wadi and some Nabatean hand carved water channels to see behind the camp.

The fact that I hadn't discovered Rock Camp years before!

If you are going to petra with a few friends, just want to chill and disconnect from the world, this property will be an excellent choice. The Rock camp is an excellent option for people who are visiting Petra and deciding to do the Petra Trek from the Monastery Side. It is located at the foot of some hills and it is picturesque. There is no cell phone reception in this location, however there is wifi throughout the whole property. So before leaving, set your destination on your google map and then start driving. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The overall property is clean, the gentleman at the reception was very welcoming. Great value for money as well. I wish the team all the best. PS - At night it gets really cold btw !!

There is nothing that I didn't like - but the fries served with the dinner was not fresh and too oily. May be replace those fries with grilled veggies would be a better option.

Rock Camp is undoubtedly a cool place to stay; the breakfast is decent and the buffet dinner was excellent both nights. Would have loved to have spent more time there at the pool and just hanging out in the evening; it's quite expensive compared to other options when you're just sleeping and wolfing down food before heading off to Petra again!

Although they're rapidly expanding, it has the air of somewhere that hasn't been quite thought through... perhaps they'll iron out the creases over time. The tour coach driving right up to our guest huts and idling the engine for 90 mins from 7am was a low point... but there's nothing that would stop me staying there again.

Fabulous breakfast. Enough food for 6-8 people, but there were only two of us.

The bathroom. The only way to close the door was to lock it. There was no light in the bathroom, and no electrical outlets to install a nightlight. There were steps down into the bathroom. These three things created a night time hazard each time we went to the bathroom.

Staying at The Rock Camp was an incredible experience! The futuristic, luxury tents are beautifully designed and very comfortable, set in a breathtaking mountain landscape just minutes from Petra. It’s the perfect mix of nature and modern comfort. The peaceful atmosphere, clean facilities, and friendly staff made it unforgettable. I would definitely come back!

The staff at the reception, at the restaurant, at the rooms were all exceptionally professional and friendly! The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms inside the rooms. We had reserved dinner at the restaurant beforehand for 14JD per person for adults, and it was superb in terms of the tast and quantity! Children were not charged but the food was more than enough for all of us to eat and more, plis they prepared French fries for the kids! The pool was big and deep and very cleanly maintained. We had great view of the surrounding from the room, and we enjoyed the serenity at night and in the morning (except for the barking dogs, but they are also just doing their job!). I would highly recommend this lodging for travelers, even those with kids.

For those who are sensitive to synthetic smell (probably coming from the materials of the tent that have to resist the sun rays), I would suggest to choose a type of room besides the bubble.

The location is just breathtakingly amazing. We were the only occupants of the entire facility. Yet, everything was well maintained, everything was clean and working. There was a very well equipped gym with sauna available. Mr. Hani was our host who was v v cooperative. We paid for the dinner which was too much for us, but it was fresh.

Very friendly manager and very nice staff. The location is fabulous with a great pool. We loved being away from the town and able to enjoy the night sky and stars. Our room was better than expected. We had dinner in the camp both nights and it was very good and we appreciated the chilled beer after spending 8 hours walking in Petra.

Wr liked everything but an improvement we’d recommend is to put a small lamp (or candles?) on each tables in the restaurant and to turn off or lower the overhead lights which are too bright for evening time dining. This would create a much more relaxing atmosphere in the evening. Also it would be great to have a guided walk out to enjoy the night time sky and stars. We were afraid to do it because of the dogs that wander around the countryside.

Great place with a wonderful view, the staff went above and beyond to meet my needs, facilities well maintained and cleaned, the food was probably the best I have had and I have been in a lot of hotels, I highly recommend this place just for location and the scenery, great stay!!!!!

The room was clean, spacious and the beds were very clean. The staff was super nice, we called them for some tips on how to visit Petra and they helped us a lot and were very transparent about the best ways to go through it. The tents were also big and the private bathroom was a plus.

The breakfast had a lot of flies, can't really blame it on the hotel though cause the staff was always there cleaning and preparing the buffet. There were also a few insects in the shower and on the tent ceiling but nothing too bad, kind of expected when you're in the nature and sleeping under a tent. The camp was also a bit far from the Wadi Musa village and it wasn't well lit so I'd recommend eating at the hotel at night unless you're comfortable with driving in the dark.
