• Located in a peaceful and beautiful area of the city. • Junior suite was clean and well-maintained. • Shower was excellent, with a handheld option. • Very good street view from the room. • AC and overall thermal comfort were excellent. • Staff were friendly and always smiling. • Wi-Fi connection was reliable.

• Location is a bit far from main attractions and the Expo site – better suited for quiet stays rather than sightseeing. • No water sprays/shattafs in the toilet, which was inconvenient. • Reception area did not match the high-end look shown in photos. • Bar ground floor was always closed during the stay. • Cannot comment on breakfast as it was not included.

It was really clean and new room, I liked breakfast. Hotels staff were very friendly and nice. Although gym is relatively small, all equipment is in a good shape and great quality.

Someone was knocking in my door at 6 am (drunk man who got confused with floors), so I called security to check it, while I hoped to get more sleep. Instead, security knocked again, disturbed to ask if I know this guy. Why would I call security then? Small flaw of junior suit room is that shower and toilet are I two separate rooms which are not even next to each other, which is a little inconvenient. Also TV has YouTube only.

With the Ramada hotel in Astana we found the ideal place for us to have a location where we can relax when we come back from our daily trips through the town. Additionally we got the best support from everyone from the hotel during our time there. A special thanks goes to Akmarel who helped us to plan some important activities at our next stop on our travels through Kazakhstan.

Nothing to complain about.

Friendly smiling staff. Which was a great breather after the experience in Al Maty Novotel. They were gracious enough to offer us early check-in as well as late check out. The hotel is a four floor Soviet era building converted in to a modern spacious hitech hotel. Even the standard room was a suite with two huge tvs and balcony. The restaurant food is good. They have an indoor heated pool, spa and a beautiful cigar lounge for the smokers.

The bathroom water pressure could have been better. Also please install a shattaf for the international travellers. A lot of Indians and Arabs visit the country. They will appreciate it.

Nice hotel. Got an upgrade to lovely room with lounge and balcony. Great location (for me) you can use free bicycles to ride round the river front and parks - lots of cycle lanes so great way to explore local area. Could jump in local Uber equivalent cars to get to more distant sites which were cheap, good and safe. You'll need an app.

Only minor issue was housekeeping was very late each day - not really an issue for me just a bit odd arriving 5 / 6pm when just back in room

Location. Approach regarding "early check-in" - if I arrived at 11.00 (usual check-in at 14.00) and they didn´t found possibility for earlier check-in but offered solution "for 50% of price is possible" - then I strongly in position that this is blackmail! For 3 hours to ask 50% of full rate - how else we can call it?

Rooms, geographical location and breakfast were great.

The only thing that we did not appreciate is to pay for a transfer fee and the hotel called a Yandex. The car did not have a seat belt at the back and it was old car that was not very comfortable. We could have ordered ourselves a Yandex (equivalent of Uber), however, we paid 10'000 tenge for a hotel transfer... I don't think that the hotel should call it a transfer. This is unfortunate as it was the only thing that we were disappointed with. Otherwise it would have been a hit.

Everything was perfect, value for money is amazing! Very spacious rooms, delicious and high quality breakfast with a lot of varieties, good location, very helpful and lovely staff especially during checkin Miss BOTAKOZ was extremely helpful and kind, with this first impression everything went very well in this hotel!

Nothing, we were completely pleased in this hotel!

I got a free upgrade from booking, so it is already were much better than I expected. The staff were polite and helpful, the room was big and clean. The room service was also good.

The breakfast could be better, and they offer only coffee from a machine, although you may think this kind of hotel would make you nice coffee. Once they offered a coffee from a barista because their coffee machine was broken. Also it is super strange for me that the hotel of this level does not have bidet of any kind even though it is located in Kazakhstan so pay attention to that.

The shower and the air conditioning in the room were great. The bed was very comfortable.

The reception workers gave me conflicting information. One said they would be happy to help me heat up food when I arrived back from a meeting late. Then another said they would not reheat my food because I didn't purchase it in their restaurant, which was about to close as I arrived anyways (why I made sure I bought food in advance). Also the laundry service was pricey.
