The staff were very friendly. I was surprised that all the retail staff spoke English. I chose this hotel specifically for its location, at the Marina. Great location! The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. I had a Marina view room. It was worth it. You can tell that it is an older hotel, but overall it is quite good.

The food was very average. The Dinner buffet had a variety of different foods, but very average in quality for the price. The snack food that I ordered was horrible! I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. The fries were very overcooked and hard. The cheeseburger was barely palatable. I ate it, but didn't enjoy one single bite. The good news is there are well over a dozen restaurants on the Marina boardwalk to choose from if you didn't lock in to the all-inclusive meal plan. That is what I did. My room overall was good, but there was a part of the wall by the sliding patio door that was in need of repair down low on the right side, and it had black mold on it. I didn't see it until later in my stay as the curtain blocked it.

It's our second time at the hotel and the atmosphere stayed as great as the first time. The staffs were super friendly and their service was top notch. They brought us a mini fridge after realizing we have some beer bottles, without being asked. The food from the kitchen was delicious, especially the room service menu.

Our room was a let down and needs some maintenance. The sink has slow drain, shower window lock was broken or balcony door lock doesn't work. The bathroom was not so clean, and carries a sewage smell.

We have stayed here three times and mainly enjoy the location as it is close to restaurants, etc. around the Marina. The first time we stayed here three years ago we did the all-inclusive, but was not happy with the food, Breakfast was okay, but the have a hard time keeping things hot, so we opted out of the all-inclusive the last 2 times. Would stay here again, but not all-inclusive.

Though it was not busy this last time we stayed here, there was no problem getting a chair at the pool, however when the resort is busy and they only have 22 chairs it could be a problem.

Staff was amazing, always attentive & ready to help with anything needed. Beds were comfortable, cleaning was done daily & facilities were also well maintained.

The organization of the shuttle to the beach could be better, we signed up and were one of the first to do so but ended up having to wait for the second trip, others who weren’t on the list left with the first trip. It was disappointing & a little frustrating. Drinks at the bar were inconsistent depending on who was the bartender (bracelets were assigned for different meal packages) and sometimes we got smaller drinks but paid for them & didn’t have a meal package. Rooms just need a little extra TLC the curtain in the room was ripped & the table wobbly. Not a big deal since we weren’t in the room most of the day.

Good location within walking distance to the airport.

First room I had was dingy and noisy (on the first floor). Fortunately, the second night I was able change my room on a higher floor and there was a marked improvement. Lack of reclining pool chairs! Guests drape their towels over the existing chairs and take them for the day. Also, I had no idea that there were two different lodging options, all-inclusive and standard. I had no choice in the matter and was automatically booked for the more expensive all-inclusive. Booking needs to make this clear and failed to do so.

Sofa in room looked dirty and old TV did not work most of the time. We did report it and they were very quick to send someone to fix, but the problem persisted and in the end decided not to keep asking for repair on a daily basis. Very weak Internet signal in room. Had to go to reception to get signal Would be nice to have coffee station in room

Saw a crocodile stalking a heron at the Marina. 12 year old was impressed

I booked for my family and did not accompany them for the trip as I was at a wedding in another location. Major problems checking in...major. They asked me to email them a photo of my ID which I did. But they neglected to give me the right email address. I mailed it to the Reservation email of course but they didn't find it because I was to mail it to the front desk...how was I to know that? They refused to accept my niece's credit card...why..who knows? With the help of booking.com help line we finally solved the problem by the next morning. They did allow my family (no Spanish spoken) to stay the night thank goodness. All is all my family loved the resort but I would not go through that again.

We stayed a night here after returning from visiting family in the States. Close to airport and has a nice swimming pool and beautiful well kept grounds right on the Marina and a walled in parking lot for those with car. It's a quiet location. We didn't use it but they say they have free shuttle service to the beach. They also provide towels for their swimming pool. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful.

You will need a taxi or uber to get to the Romantic section of Vallarta or you could walk to the main road to catch a 10 peso bus ride.

Had a room just across from staff area, was noisy, could also hear sounds really well from above apartment, showerhead was not very clean, breakfast should be included for the price

This is a fantastic resort in a quiet neighborhood of the city. it is a middle size resort, not too big as it would be impersonal and dispersive, not too small so it can guarantee consistent service and facilities. the pool area is very curated with a beautiful garden. I really recommend this place. The only thing to keep in mind is that prices can fluctuate a lot according to the availability - if you get an offer for around ~100 Eur, this is really a great deal! High standards of cleanliness, service, everything freshly painted and renovated.
