From the moment I arrived i was impressed. I was already familiar with the location, which is central to the marina, beach, casino, and restaurants. Jenny was friendly and extremely welcoming and friendly. Jocelyn, the maid was all smiles, as was the wonderful man who maintains the grounds, and the fellow needing the bar. The room absolutely exceeded my expectations, with a kitchen, comfy king size beds, a balcony, fresh water in the fridge, coffee, and parking. All of my questions were answered in a friendly manner. You get the feeling everyone working at this hotel actually love their jobs. Honestly, it's the only place I stay when I return to PV. Lastly, it's very reasonably priced.

As someone who is very hard to please, I can't think of a bad thing to say. Bravo Hotel Tropico

There were 9 of us in 2 suites and this worked perfectly for us. We had lots of space and really enjoyed the pool and having the restaurant was handy during the day. It is quite far from things and we enjoyed walking to the beach and the marina but we were with a toddler and a pensioner so had to take taxis to the malecón as a group as it was too far for them to walk to the main boulevard.

The only thing I’d change would be to have the hotel sell drinks and snacks on a night as the nearest shop is far away. Everything else was wonderful! Thank you!

The facilities are well kept. The room was very clean and comfortable. The beds were just right for a good sleep. Location is kind of away from everything which is nice for a good rest. But because of this reason it is convenient to have a car rental or call in transportation.

Inconsistent hot water available which makes showering such a hassle. To start your day you want to be able to jump in for a warm shower but instead we had to shower in cold water. Same thing at the end of the day when all you want is to freshen up from your long day but yet again no hot water. We would take to the receptionist about the issue and they would go in to fix it but it would only be momentarily.

I stayed here for just one night last year, and loved it so much that I came back this year for 4 nights. My favourite part is how calm and peaceful it is - I was here to work on some writing, and it was really quiet and tranquil. My apartment was huge and had everything I needed - kitchen, huge TV, lovely balcony, very comfortable bed. The pool is huge which is great if you love to swim, and the gardens are just beautiful - I really enjoyed watching the birds and lizards and hummingbirds. The food is also excellent (the shrimp quesadillas are out of this world), which is lucky because there isn't really anywhere good to eat nearby that isn't an expensive tourist trap - just eat here if you can! Staff are really friendly too. It really is an escape - it's in a very quiet neighbourhood and you won't want to leave!

The pool was actually too warm, but this is the fault of the weather (30-35 degrees in July) rather than the hotel!

Relaxing and peaceful property. Even when many rooms were occupied there were no crowds or sense that the property was busy. We were always able to get a bed by the pool to relax. Pool area and gardens well maintained, colourful and full of wildlife. The wild studio was exactly as pictured and a fantastic room to stay in. We opted for breakfast with the booking and enjoyed fresh dishes prepared for us along with the buffet every morning. Cocktails and soft drinks during the pool bar operating hours were reasonably priced. All staff were friendly and chatty. The hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, 1km safe/quiet walk to the nearest shops/supermarket with some eateries gave us everything we needed. Taxi/uber to the ZR was around 150 Pesos.

Nothing that was within control of the property - mosquitos mainly. Everything from the property exceeded expectations and wish we'd been able to stay longer.

What a fabulous property. Immaculate, secluded and fabulous rooms, equally well-equipped and immaculate. In a residential area, it’s quiet, undisturbed and a 15-20 min walk from the marina. Airport is a 5 minute Uber ride away and central Puerto Vallarta is about 30 mins by Uber. Food ‘bar’ has a great selection of freshly prepared dishes for breakfast and lunches from 8am to 5pm and drinks until 6pm. Absolutely divine, especially in such relaxed surroundings. Staff throughout are friendly, helpful and full of smiles. Pool and the grounds are immaculate and planted out with equal perfection.

The staff at this place are so friendly! The rooms are super spacious and well laid out. The pool is well kept and a nice treat in the hot weather. It's quiet and super relaxing. The breakfast and food is absolutely delicious too. Fantastic value for money.

It's kind of out of the way, but if you prefer to stay around the Marina it's perfect. The bar closes pretty early at 6:30 so you will more than likely have to head out for dinner. Uber into PV/Romantic Zone were around 6 USD.

Exceptional hotel! The suite was huge and quite well appointed. The beds are incredible! The staff were all lovely, good food and drinks at the restaurant. The grounds and the pool are very well maintained. The neighbourhood is very quiet. It is about 30-45 minutes from the Romantic Zone area, but ride-shares are easy to get and inexpensive.

Wow... we stayed here twice on our recent trip to PV, our very first night in town, walked from the airport and stayed in the Jungle Room, what a way to start our trip. After going to other areas, we returned and had a very relaxing stay before heading home. The bikes that are available really make the location work. It is remote, but if you are up for walking or biking, restaurants and everything you need can be reached.

This is such a nice place, the rooms were like your own apartment. Great kitchen full size stove top, full size fridge. The beds are comfortable, maid service every day. They have a bar, and restaurant, you will get hooked on the chips and made fresh guacamole, and shrimp quasidillas are so good.. the pool is cleaned every day, just like everything else. The front desk employees will help u get a taxie, or food delivered, or anything u need. They have a bike u can use if your in the need. It's a great neighborhood, but close enough to get to the sights with a short taxi ride. Everyone here is nice n friendly. And it's small enough that it don't get crowded even when they have a full house. The people I met here at the pool are mostly repeat customers.
