I used to stay at the Comfort Inn for work up to 10 times a year during the 2010s so this visit, my first since 2020, felt like a bit of a homecoming. It was really pleasing to see the place has received a 'spruce up' since the 'old days' with fresh paint, updated fittings in the rooms and, best of all, improved shower heads! The room was as comfortable as they used to be and our stay was enjoyable as a result. Thank you to the lovely lady on reception who filled me in on what I'd missed during my 'absence' - the staff (former and present) were always a big part of the reason I enjoyed my stays at the Comfort and so it's nice to know what they're all up to now. Best wishes to the 'new' owners as they continue to build upon the legacy.

It was sad to see that 'Fleurs', the on-site restaurant which used to offer food and service comparable to that of the big cities, is no more. The replacement is only open Monday to Friday and so being there on a weekend, I was unable to compare (went to the local RSL instead which is a short walk away). Maybe next time...

Everything was great. The rooms were comfortable and staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We usually don't book anything under 4 stars. I would happily book here again.

The shower pressure was little more than a dribble, which made washing my hair a bit difficult but other than that I have only positives to say

The cleanliness and staff assistance wonderful. Close to the town centre also, which helped with the restaurant not being open.

The website did not state the restaurant and breakfasts were not included as it is advertised on the booking site. Hopefully they will be able to attract a chef again in the future, but the position to the Club and the River walk is great.

Because of our honeymoon, we got an upgrade to a room with whirlpool and a bottle of cava. We are really grateful that they did this for us and we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again! The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and their communication was good.

The walls of the room were very thin, so we could hear every word the neighbour said or the sounds of the tv.

The room was clean and it had everything you need and the staff were friendly and professional. The location was walking distance from Ballina CBD. I would stay at this motel again.

Location, price and comparability.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and very nice to sleep in. The sun shining through the windows was pleasant.

The lounge chair had a broken leg which we only discovered when we tried to move it closer to the table. It would be nice to have large plates and cutlery to use if you decide to have take away in the room.

Staff were extremely friendly, and room was very clean and compact.

Pillows were very large. A smaller spare pillow in wardrobe would have been appreciated.

Obliging staff/operator who go out of their way to provide all that is needed within their capability, especially after horrendous floods wrecked the town. Although there are few immediate signs of the damage, it is evident in places if you look twice, hence the need to house so many emergency workers. We have returned to his motel repeatedly. There is even an excellent pool for those so inclined and you are close to the river with its magnificent scenery

Great location. Walking distance to many food and leisure spaces. Comfortable rooms. Upstairs room. Carpark directly in front of room. Pool available but I didn’t use it. Smart Tv - connect to Netflix. Note: I booked last minute though and ended up with a family room rather than a solo room. Would recommend booking early.

Last minute booking over Christmas. Very clean, staff super nice and helpful - even let us order from the bar after closing time. We will definitely return again in the future to spend some more time.
