Location. Staff and the reception

Unfortunately We experienced a great deal of noise during the night from a neighbouring room for about 4 hours, The noise was that loud from inconsiderate people who were congregating in a single room and were talking and laughing all night. It ruined our stay. The reception staff have promised to compensation with a full or partial refund through booking.com

Room layout, space, lighting were all great. Always a bonus when there is plug sockets next to the bed. Breakfast was lovely and definitely worth it with the room included in the price. The booking process was very quick and easy and reasonably priced considering it was a weekend. Cannot speak on things like TV, other facilities as they were not accessed to judge.

It was a last minute booking so it was unfortunate that the were only twin beds left. It would have been nice for double or the option to clip the twin beds together (couple = cuddles ha). Having to pay for the parking and knowing the times coming and going from hotel. Yes - the hotel do provide you with 50% discount on parking but still I feel hotel guest shouldn't have to pay for parking as long as they prove they are staying. This leads into knowing what time you expect to leave and it varies in price. If one pays for a later time of departure but leaves earlier than expected what a refund be issued? I doubt it. Shower wasn't terrible, it done the job but a bigger shower head would have been preferred.

Although close to the Dartford crossing the hotel is in a nice position within green space. There is plenty of parking which is a bonus although there is a charge of 5 pounds per 24hr period. Staff were very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. We felt like regular visitors. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our room (338) was situated on the top floor and to the rear side of the building. Nice and peaceful In the evening we decided not to venture out but to have a meal at the in-house restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by how tasty our meals were. Lasagne and Hunters Chicken. Good portions. Again, serving staff pleasant. A very enjoyable stay.

Good big room, with view of the Dartford crossing (QE2 Bridge). Well sound-proofed windows. Great value for 65 quid incl a good cooked breakfast/sundries. I gather it's often much pricier though. Staff nice and friendly. Didn't realise it's a franchise, so maybe a smaller company means less corporate in staff attitude. Small desk and a chair, which is always a bonus. Very large bed. Plenty of pillows.

Restaurant/bar/breakfast area was a bit cold. Room was a bit cold until warmed up by the aircon. I'm not a fan of aircon. Access for pedestrians is a bit of a pain, as there are no gates in the perimeter fence (presumably a security thing), and you have to walk round and come in via a road. Funny how it's assumed everyone drives to hotels (I walked from Dartford Station, about 25 mins).

The staff were all so friendly and helpful. I had broken my toe the morning of my journey, we arrived half an hour early so I asked on the off chance that our room was ready so I could put my foot up and rest as it had turned purple. It wasn't ready but Susan found another one and managed to jiggle some bookings around kindly to let us be able to check in which was amazing to be able to rest! Some other staff members helped with a sewing kit and toothbrush that I needed later. Such a friendly place, made a huge bonus to our stay.

The room was a decent size; the bed was huge, granted it was two beds put together, but it was a great size. Dove soap, body wash, and shampoo were available, and they also offer hygiene products upon request, giving me more than many budget hotels. Breakfast was also included, which is great. Bars open all night and cheap parking

The only downside is the price for pets; £25 per pet is steep, especially compared to other places we've stayed. I appreciated the cute dog goodie bag provided, it's super cute, but I couldn't find any information on the site about the pet charge, nor was there an option to add a pet to my booking to see the cost.

Staff were so friendly and helpful checking us in early as my daughter was unwell. Although room service isn’t offered, we could take food from the restaurant up to the room or they were happy for us to have takeaway delivered to the hotel. The hotel was quiet. The beds were so comfortable, efficient air con but option of opening the windows which is rare in a hotel nowadays. Free breakfast had an excellent choice and overall an excellent value for money stay.

Clean environment and helpful staff

Everything is good. However, I think the hotel needs to improve on the breakfast menu with variety of meals instead of offering the same thing every day. Secondly, the hotel should bring back the phones to the rooms. If not for any reason, but for the sake of the guests in case there’s an urgent need to reach the front desk, especially for guests who come from outside of UK.

The hotel is conveniently located near the main street, with the train station about a 20-minute walk away, providing easy connections to central London in just over 45 minutes. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety.

Personally, I am not bothered by the car noise, but those who have trouble sleeping because of motorway traffic may want to inform reception and request a room on the opposite side of the street.

The hotel was very modern, clean and the rooms were excellent. We liked the room the minute we walked in. The bathroom was designed like a wet room, a welcoming change for a room with a shower cubicle, accompanied with limescale, mould and the inability to move whist in the shower. The breakfast was amazing, plenty of choice , the food was fresh AND hot. (Very rare in quite a few hotels)

Bar area needs more relaxed seating for evening relaxing / drinking. Visited the bar (evening) and the few sofas etc were taken. Did not want to sit at an eating table , felt separate from the bar.
