There is a nice selection of hot and cold food at the breakfast buffet and a bright, comfortable dining area. The staff at breakfast were friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to the train station and also for driving as it's on a main road. The hotel has coffee and light snacks, but for meals other than breakfast it's a few blocks walk into the center of town, or, in another direction, a few blocks to a large outlet mall that has some restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. We were given an accessible room, where everything was low for the benefit of folks in wheelchairs. We didn't need that sort of room, but it was nice to see that it was available for those who did.

Your keycard is required to access the elevator and sometimes we had difficulty with getting the elevator doors to open. Also, it seemed a bit random as to whether our room was cleaned or not. In the bathroom there is a dispenser for soap and for body lotion, and it was the body lotion closest to the sink. Why isn't the soap closest to the sink?

Tricky start as the check in process felt slow and clunky, but I understand there was a system change over. It does not allow for a number of people turning up at the same time to check in. So a queue forms very quickly. The hotel is beautiful. Despite being next to a main road, you do not hear a thing. For me the rooms were too warm, the pre ordered cot was not in the room and there was no bath. The bath is an issue when travelling with babies and toddlers as most do not like showers. But the shower itself was lovely from an adult perspective. Lovely having a fridge available to store milk, but there is not a way to heat it up other than boiling the kettle and using the hot water to heat it up. Suggest a bottle warmer is made available. The staff were wonderful and very patient with my 18 month old who had to explore everywhere. But the hotel is suited more to adults then young families.

We made a very last minute booking for a night on the way to the Dover ferryport. Check in was friendly, we were able to add parking and pay for it on the spot. Both rooms were spotless and very comfortable. The clocks changed forward and the majority of guests were very last minute for breakfast. The serving staff were excellent - they continued to refill everything smoothly, helped people sort themselves out and then removed the buffet at 10am efficiently. They really brought calm to what could have been chaotic.

The only decaffeinated coffee option was packs of instant. It would be nice to have ground decaf.

I found the breakfast reasonable with a good variety, including gluten-free bread and vegan milk options for those with dietary restrictions. The staff were efficient, keeping food replenished and promptly clearing plates. The reception staff were also helpful whenever I needed information. The room was spacious, quiet, and had everything I needed to be comfortable for a few days' stay. The location was excellent—right next to the international rail station, making it easy to get back into London. A very good venue for a 3-star hotel.

The only downside was a slight smell in the hallways leading to the room; it wasn’t overwhelming and reminded me of calamine lotion. Adding vegan waffle mix and pastries at breakfast would be a nice touch, and there could be more options for a balanced evening meal. That said, there are some fabulous restaurants within a 10-minute walk.

Breakfast very good, staff helpful. Convenient for the station once we understood the two accesses (entrances). No road noise(well insulated). Good nights sleep Excellent facilities in bathroom for disabled - should they be required. Wondered if they were in all bathrooms - we didn’t request them.

We stayed 2 nights - one on way to France and again on return - second stay we didn’t manage to get WiFi before we left for homeward journey. Just a small problem. Would have appreciated biscuit on the hostess tray.

Spotless everywhere. Towels lovely and fluffy. Loved the little smeg fridge and sheets were top quality. Well designed hotel room breakfast staff efficent and friendly. Breakfast was lovely.

Could have left wine glasses in the room. No teaspoons just wooden sticks. When I arrived I could not get a healthy alternative to pizza. After a long journey I ended up at BP garage next door. I was told to use Just Eat by staff . Could have been a little more welcoming on arrival but overall absolutely great .

The staff was super nice and the highlight of my stay. I realised the day before that I had booked a room for a wrong date, they helped my get a booking for the right night and helped contact Booking and navigate the system to get this change accepted. Once at the hotel I realised I had left important documents at home and they let me use their printer (with a charge but it was fair and my mistake). The room itself was really nice, with a big bed, a big TV, a seating area and a desk. The bathroom was really nice too with a big shower. Although the room was set to communicate with another one, I still felt safe as a lone woman by the door blocker. I dined at the hotel and the food was excellent although it was a small variety (but still enough for all taste). The breakfast in the morning was excellent, lots of choices and variety. I specifically loved the waffle maker ! I asked for a late check out of one hour (12.00 instead of 11.00) and upon checking for availability, I was granted one, free of charges.

I used the shampoo and conditioner provided by the hotel and I was quite disappointed as it made my hair really greasy and not up to what I expected.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely, hotel was bright and Inviting. 😊

The lift was faulty and wouldn't come to the ground floor. Staff member had to go to the 2nd floor to press the ground floor to get it down to us. We were on the 3rd floor with all 3 of us having medical conditions and not being able to do stairs. Also, paying for over night parking - at £12.50 for the night, this could be reduced as many other big hotels allow you to park free. Also, unable to open the window to get some cool air in the room. 3 women the wrong side of 40 and the air-con only went down to 18* and it was a small room so it was quiet hot. The chair bed was not comfortable, it was hard, really only suitable for a child but not for an adult.

The breakfast was more than adequate far more than I expected the customer service was brilliant but didn't understand about the £50 extra I had to pay I was told I would get it back still not received this

I did like using my bank card for get a drink in the bar you should be able to use cash also I didn't know anything about dinner it should come in with the price of the room and cleaning should not be done while you are still staying there cleaning of the room should be done when the customer leaves

From the minute we entered all the staff were very friendly and made the whole check in a breeze. The gentleman who checked us in also ordered us a taxi within seconds of asking. The room was lovely and had no real issues at all. Morning/breakfast staff were very attentive and the chef was greeting everyone while topping up the buffet. There was a wide variety and even a couple of "make your own waffle" stations which was a nice touch. I highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again!
