This was my second time at Ancient Luang Prabang Hotel. I had the same room and excellent service. The young and friendly staff, led by Khamla, the manager, are amazing and considering they have endured a sever lockdown during Covid and maintained the prémices in perfect condition is a testament to their abilities. Breakfast is excellent with a choice of Western or Lao (2 Luang Prabang specialities), my bed was very comfortable as was the room. Will come again as soon as I can!

Nice location and very quiet for the historic district, still city centre though. Good breakfast, not huge, but enough and well made. Laundry service at a good price, staff is welcoming. The buildings are great, loads of old wood and authentic architecture in this part of town. Bathtub!

Be aware that the Alms Giving is passing the house. Beautiful, but even though it should not be a tourist attraction, it unfortunately is one. Problematic for locals but also you may have to expect tours and tourists beeing loud at 5.30 in the morning. Still a good stay, and you may sleep through it

Friendly, approachable, professional staff. Breakfast was good and a variety of options. Very nice fruits and well toasted baguette. Room was spacious and the bed was large. The room was cleaned, water replenished and towels replaced daily.

While breakfast was good, I wished that it could start earlier (before 7:30am). Water pressure in the showers could be better.

Perfect locations. Hotel amenities. Nearly night market. Temple. And infront of hotel do arms giving celebrate money. The staff excellent service and help full. The daily room cleaning. Breakfast set menus for shoose is perfect. I will be back to stay here again for my next travels. 🥰🥰🥰

Not things

The hotel is well located. All the sights are within a few minutes walk. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. We had nothing to complain about. The most crucial thing is that the entire inn has just been renovated, and has also added the theme of Lao ancient tree tea. There is a genuine Lao ancient tree tea tasting, which is very worthwhile to stay and experience.

the location was nice and the property itself was nice.

the room was small, the one I booked was oddly designed as the bath tub was right in front of the door and in the middle of the room. when we took shower the water splash out of the stone tub and made room moldy and smelly. the toilet smell the sewerage all day and we kept the fan on just to help the smell get a way.

Just in the downtown Luangprabang. Very close to temples and night/morning market. Staff there were friendly and helpful. You can settle down everything with them. The room were cozy and clean, with very nice decoration.

A bit noisy as the rooms face to the street.

Good location and the interior of the room was lovely including the bath as a feature. would highly recommend!
