Definitely exceeded my expectations. It was a lovely, clean room with clean towels, soap, clean sheets etc. Everything that a good hotel would offer. Even tiny cups of tea with a chocolate had been prepared. For 34 pounds that I paid I had a double bed. The check in and out was super easy and didn't require me to even meet anyone from the reception which is very convenient. I came and went away as I pleased.

The floor was quite squeaky which didn't really bother myself as I was located on the 6th floor which I believe is the highest one but I can imagine someone on the 5th floor not enjoying hearing me walk on it.

It was perfect for me. Nearby centre (10 min ride) and very nearby Arena Riga which was my main place to be. Good value for the price, and Viktoria at the reception was very helpful and very friendly when I got a problem. For the price you pay it is very good. Recommended. The Wi-Fi was also good. Also, the bed was actually quite good as well, and as long as you dont expect top 5-star hotel for this price its a nice find.

Main concern has to be that its not 24 hour reception, and that the door closes 19, so remember the doorcode when you get home late at night ;)

- clean - cozy and comfortable (maybe the glory days of this place have passed, but everything is working fine) - free parking (at the backyard) - lift - very close to the famous Miera Street and not very far from the old town, lots of shops nearby, easy to find - good price - spacious - much bigger than standard hotel rooms, more like small apartment, with extra space like a walk-in closet, there's also kitchenette and not small bathroom - equipped with refrigerator, electric kettle and kitchen stove etc.

The location was very good for the price. It was a bit hard to find a car park, but found in a minute and it was free of charge. Couldn't find the back door, so went through the doors on the street side. Didn't meet the stuff as we arrived out of reception hours (which were confusing as in booking it says different than in instructions given), but contacting the host was easy and quick, instructions given and managed to have a key without any issues. Neighbours were quiet, beds comfy, premises clean. Would return if again in same area. Thanks to the host for the patience to instruct us :)

No dehumidifier in bathroom

Room is not new, but clean and pleasant, look like on the foto. It's small, but i known it. The bed was comfortable, it was ok for 185 cm. The water in the shower- hot) In the room was a fridge and kettle. Near the building there was a Rimi market with a food. It's about 30 min by foot to the center, also a lot of public bus stops around. The district is pleasant and we feel ourself safety (like in Riga in common).

The wall - we were heard the toilet doings from neighbors) Also it can be uncomfortable if the persons will be not quiet, but when we were there - night was a quiet time. Also for me it was a bit cold in the room - i have to wear leggings and hoodie when we were in the room. It was not a problem, but a bit uncomfortable

The best was the soft bed (that satisfied my demanding taste)! Neighbours didn't cause any noise. The room was rather big. Linen and pillow were also of good quality. It was clean. It was quick to get to important spots in the center by bus/trolleybus (3-4 stops to the core center). Also within 3 mins walking from the hotel there is Alojas Kvartaals with Rimi supermarket, some restaurants (I liked Bento) and hangout spots. It's also a good area to go for a jog! It is close to Arena Riga if you go there for an event. The reception works from 11 to 17, if you arrive outside that time, you'll get a detailed description on how to get the key. Everything worked!

The curtain could have been more light-blocking. Nothing else to complain about, I certainly want to stay here again!

I really liked the location of this hotel, everything you need is close by and it's also a short walk to the city center. The room was very clean and the hotel had very good toiletries. I also liked how well the information and overall communication was. I will definitely come back and recommend this hotel to everyone! Thank you!

The rooms are renewed, comfy beds, everything is clean. For this price you could not expect anything better! Contactless check-in and checkout. Next to the hotel there is a supermarket, a restaurant, local good beer places, etc.

Agreed with the other already existing comments 🙂 The corridors could be renewed. The walls are thin, one side rooms are next to a busy street, the other to a yard that is full of loud crows and other birds. If you are used to silence, be aware.

I appreciated the affordability of Avitar and was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness. The room had all the essential amenities, including a shower, fridge, and TV (although we didn't use it), Wi-Fi. The beds were clean and reasonably comfortable. Additionally, the presence of a parking lot behind the building was convenient for guests arriving by car.

While the interior was clean, it did appear a bit tired. Additionally, the floors were somewhat squeaky, and noise could be heard through the walls. However, these factors didn't significantly detract from our overall experience during the stay.
