The hotel is nice and new, in a good position. Breakfast was great, also with gluten free options.

During our stay, due to repair works to the water supply networks we were informed with a note on the hallway door with very small writing that there would be no water available for about 12 hours. In the end fortunately we had no problems, but if we had not been informed by another guest of the hotel, we would not have known anything (being out in the city all day). I would recommend sending an email or message to the guests if this were to happen again.

Aston Hotel Riga is a very nice hotel that exceeded our expectations. Husband and I were traveling around Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, and Finland and this was by far our favorite hotel. Front desk staff was friendly, parking is easy with lots of room. Our room was very clean and beautifully decorated with a modern and luxurious feel. Our bed and pillow was just how we liked it. Breakfast was amazing with an incredible spread! The leisure walk into the middle of Riga is nice walking past beautiful structures and monuments. We travel approximately 12-15 times a year and this hotel has to be one of the best European hotels we've stayed at. It definitely left a lasting impression with my husband and I.

It’s new, very functional design, has a gym and a nice restaurant on top floor.

There was a strong smell of cigarettes by the elevators as there’s a casino on the first floor (I’d assume that’s where it’s coming from).

The room was spacious and had heating which you could adjust the temperature as you'd like.

The bed and pillows were not very comfortable, and even though you could adjust the temperature, the lowest it would go was 17°C, which was still very hot inside the room and we had trouble sleeping at night. Additionally, there was not much food variety in the breakfast buffet and most of the things available were not fresh (we mostly didn't like the cooked bacon, it was very hard to eat). Also, we would definitely prefer some fresh juice instead of just packaged juice.

The property was fantastically located. The room design was lovely and really stylish. The room felt cosy and was a nice retreat in the cold weather. The room felt spacious and was really clean. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend to others.

There was no window to open in the room which would have been nice. It would have been nice to have had a small fridge to store water as this was then warm in the room. The TV also wasn’t very functional so we couldn’t connect to our device or access any platform such as Netflix which was unusual for a smart tv. The hotel also advertises that the walls/ rooms are soundproof, but at night we could hear neighbouring rooms coming back to the room/ shutting doors and general movement.

5 min walk from main city centre, incredibly clean, the area is very very safe. Breakfast is fantastic, serving hot savory options, continental breakfast, sweet cakes, fruit, yoghurt, vegan yoghurt and vegan milk options, good quality coffee, plenty juices/ water. You can even have a glass of sparkling wine with your breakfast. There was no noise from other rooms/the corridor. The hotels interiors are very classy and full of character. The rooms and bathrooms are large and very clean. The staff all speak english.

Nothing i did not like!

I recently stayed at this new hotel in the city center, and I couldn't be more impressed! From the moment I arrived, the high-quality finishes and furnishings caught my eye, making for a luxurious experience right from the start. The location is perfect—close to all major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The highlight of my stay was definitely the breakfast served on the 6th floor. With a stunning view and a delicious spread, it was the perfect way to start each day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and style in the heart of the city.

The location was great, the Hotel and rooms are very clean and the rooms feel very cozy. The beds and pillows are quite big and extremely comfortable. Visually the Hotel looks stunning, providing a moody but modern feeling. The staff was very nice and the breakfast was also very varied and tasty.

If the rooms are facing the main street it can be occasionally be a bit noisy, mainly with some very loud cars passing by and making enough noise to wake us up. The Hotel does provide earplugs for the noisy in case you feel the need for it.

Aston Hotel Riga exceeded our expectations. The location was really good; a lot of restaurants, sights, shops and parks within a short walking distance. The room was not too big but spacious enough for a short stay, and nicely decorated. Comfy beds and good aircon! Breakfast buffet was really good, with lots of af different options to choose from. The restaurant also had a nice looking rooftop terrace. Free parking was also a big plus!

The only thing I have to mention is that if you're a very light sleeper, you might want to book a room that doesn't have a view to the street. The traffic in Riga can be quite loud at times, however there were earplugs in the room.

For a very first time I am giving such a high score to a hotel. Aston Hotel Riga was amazing - the interior, the design of the hallways, rooms and the bathrooms (great aesthetics with a woody touch), the vibe, the staff (every single time I saw someone - I was warmly greeted), the cleanliness - not one spot and I ALWAYS find at least one, because as a germophobe & I search for such. The beds were comfy, I had two pillows to choose from and my room had everything I needed. You could also feel the modern (& digitalized) touch in the rooms, which I also liked - for example, just by pressing a LED screen to set "do not disturb status" for the room or the LED managing of the AC. Everything to me was (almost) perfect - I was feeling great, comfortable and calm. First class experience! I would gladly stay/visit it again & I would also reccommend it to friends.

Why almost perfect and not complete 10? As the hotel is located on the main boulevard with traffic lights just underneath it, you could easily hear the cars. Especially the motorcyclist and they were very load! If you are light sleeper, keep this in mind - I booked room with a city view, which turned on to be not the best decision for me. However, this is a problem of the drivers (not the hotel), who are driving very fast and "vroom, vroom-ing, even during the night. So... if you have room with a city view - bring yourself some earplugs just in case.
