I particularly liked central location, cleanliness, classic interior that is well-cared, good noise isolation, and particularly nice staff that cares about guest’s needs. The bed was super, and that matters a lot when you are on the go for a short stay.

Loved the old building, our room was big, bathroom also lots of space. Location was great, walk through the park to get to the old town was very pleasant.

Getting in and out of bath tub to have a shower a bit dangerous for us oldies. Also, a tour bus full of people were in the breakfast room on Saturday and Sunday, it was a bit chaotic. There was only one little toaster for so many people. Some of the bus tour group were a bit rude and I applaud the staff for keeping calm and smiling.

It is centrally located, next to the park, the room was spacious and very clean. Polite staff, the breakfast had a great variety and good quality, especially I liked pancakes with cheese. Very high ceilings and comfortable bed, very wide in size

The cleaning service didn't provide new sugar to the room and no new tea, I suggest that you make sure there's every day at least 8 small packages of sugar in the room. The juices at the breakfast are a disaster, there's too much sugar and they don't taste good, I suggest you either provide fresh juices without any additives or good juices from concentrate in bottles

Absolutely enormous rooms which felt very fancy inside. Very comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and even a balcony as well. Also a mini fridge in the room, with the option to buy some snacks and drinks from in the room. Well-located in central Riga and within comfortable walking distance of the main attractions.

The balcony door for my room was broken. The wind one night blew it open at around 3am (you can imagine how scary being woke up by that was) and, despite reception promising to get it fixed before the next night, this did not happen and I had to barricade the door to ensure it stayed shut through the night. Rooms slightly showing their age in places as well.

I visit Riga quite often, but for the first time in the wonderful Riga Art Nouveau district. I liked the location of the hotel, the authentic charm, the single room is comfortable, quiet at night, even though the window opens onto the street, beautiful buildings can be seen through the window, they are everywhere around. The breakfast is especially delicious, a lot of choice, worthy of 5 stars.

There were no bathrobes, slippers in the single room, I stayed one night only and didn't pay much attention to it. You have to ask for bathrobes and slippers if you live in the single room.

although the hotel is not a new building in any case it does not show its age it is impeccably clean, well maintained and tidy A young lady at the front desk should learn to smile , its for free !

My room was very comfortable - a lovely mattress and extremely quiet at night. The room and bathroom were clean and a good size. The room facilities were good. The staff were all wonderful. The breakfast was pretty good too. The location was next to a park and the Art Nouveau area and within walking distance of the old city. There was a Narvesan on the corner and lots of buses passing by towards the train and bus stations.

I slept so well I can't really say that anything wasn't good, apart from the hotel seemed a little past it's best to be a 4-star hotel.

- The location is very nice, Old Town reachable in 20mins by walk, 10mins by Bolt scooter - The room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. - It was very nice that there was a bathrobe to use after having a warm bath in the bathtub.

Overall everything was really nice. A couple of small things though: - The coffee in breakfast was terrible. I usually drink americano or regular coffee with oatmilk for breakfast. Now it was undrinkable, the coffee was very bitter, independent on which selection I took from the machine. Thankfully there was an excellent cafe next to Narvesen on the road next to the hotel. - The balcony was practically useless so I don't feel it's worth paying extra. - It would have been nice to have a much larger tv (considering the distance from the bed which is the only spot to watch the TV) and a bit newer one to be able to use a chromecast to watch my own Netflix from my phone instead of local TV channels in a language I don't understand

We stayed at the hotel for 9 days. During our stay, the hotel staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The room was large and the bed was very comfrotable. We had a king bed and it was great. Only thing I would change is the pillows could be more comfortable, but that is based on my individual preference for down pillows. The breakfast was excellent. There were so many choices for everyone, no matter where you traveled from they tried to put a little of something out for all. Excellent. I would highly recommend staying at the "Monika Centrum Hotel". The area is also beautiful and safe. Most of the embassies are located on the same block. It was also close to the tram, buses etc. There is also a beautiful park across the street, so very beautiful and safe. It has a canal that runs through it where you can take a canal ride through the park out to the river around old town. The city of Riga is so beautiful and clean. My husband speaks Latvian, but I do not but everyone speaks english. I would highly recommend downloading the "Bolt" app which is similar to Uber in the US but better. We used Bolt at night when getting around the city. They are inexpensive compared to Uber in the US. There are also "Navessan convernience stores on every corner where you can purchase your tram, train and bus tickets along with food and drink etc. There are also plenty of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. If you like goumet italian, there's a resataurant called "Portofino's" a block or two down the street. Absolutely delicious, best italian I have ever had. The food is all fresh and the fish is very fresh. The last thing I recommend is getting on the #11 tram to the Marketplace. It's the largest in all of Europe, so much so you need a full day to get through the whole place.

Nothing, it was a great place to stay and wonderfully located.

When booking my room, I requested a quiet room overlooking the inner courtyard, as I’m a light sleeper. However, upon arrival, I was informed that no quiet rooms were available. When I explained my situation, the receptionist kindly offered me a larger room overlooking the courtyard, as the smaller rooms I had originally booked were completely sold out that day. Additionally, since I was going to miss breakfast the next morning, the hotel staff thoughtfully prepared a breakfast bag on request, which included a sandwich, fruit salad, banana, apple, yogurt, and juice—far more than I expected. The hotel’s location couldn’t be better—right next to a park, close to the old town, and only about an 18-minute taxi ride from the airport (though I’m unsure how long it would take by public transport). The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and overall, I was very pleased with my stay.
