The location is great, walking distance to most tourist attractions. Lots of places to eat and drink nearby. The breakfast was amazing with lots of options. The bed and pillow were comfortable, although a lighter duvet would have been better for July. Friendly staff.

I booked the cosy queen room which was very tight in terms of space. I had 2 carry on bags so I was fine but someone with a large suitcase would struggle to find space for it. The room didn’t have air con, it had a table fan though which helps but not the same as AC. I could still hear the tram passing even with the windows closed.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in April 2025. I arrived early and they were able to check me in immediately. Fast, efficient check in process and staff were attentive and friendly. Hotel location is perfect in the center of Old Town within walking distance of everything. Room was large and spacious with 2 large windows that allowed for fresh air and great views. My double room included a jetted tub as well. I loved the location, room size, staff and breakfast (huge selection of everything). Definitely recommend this hotel, but ask for a room on the backside of the hotel away from the bars. 5 stars!

Only complaint (which isn’t on the hotel at all!) was a bar along the pedestrian walkway outside my window thumped very loud music nightly. Unfortunately, on Saturday night that was until 3am. No amount of soundproofing would fix it. I used headphones until 0330 so I could sleep. 200 patrons lined the walkway in front of the bar making for a very long party atmosphere.

We loved our stay at the Radisson Hotel Old Town Riga. The staff are amazing and made us feel very welcome and looked after. We picked the hotel based on location and previous reviews and it exceeded our expectations. Located in Old Town and by the Bastejkalna Park, it is so central for visiting the city, it felt very safe walking back to in the small hours, and has stunning views of the park. We stayed in the corner room with a view to the wall of shields. The bed was super comfortable and the jacuzzi bath was a nice extra. We can't wait to return.

Minimal issues. If you sleep with the window open, the street can be a little noisy throughout the night but the room, location, and everything else makes up for that. There was also some door banging noises throughout the night. I don't know if this was due to being at the end of a long corridor and wind or not. That being said, I will 100% recommend this hotel to others and stay here again when I return to Riga. I would even stay in the same room, it was stunning and the view was particularly lovely.

The location of this hotel is perfect, just on the corner of old town and most of the places is near, just to walk. Hotel is small but clean and service is very friendly. Breakfast is good and you can order some some food from the list like omelet, pancakes etc. We had a premium on fifth floor and view to the street and opposite park which was quite nice. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Hotel offer us late check out at 3pm which was very nice. I also like that hotel is in old building.

There was fitted carpet on the floor at the room which looked like it had seen life.

Staff is great and helpful Location is right on the outskirts of the old town Good breakfast selection Comfortable rooms

The rooms on the side of the main road are really noisy. Trams, ambulances, honking, etc. I could barely get any sleep the first night. Fortunately the staff was accommodating and helped me get a room on the back side of the building for the rest of the stay, which was fine. The rooms themselves have worn out carpet and furniture and feel like they’re in dire need of renovation. When you first enter them, it feels like one of those old motels. Overall this hotel is mostly held together by its excellent staff. Without it, it would be more like a three star motel and not really on par with the Radisson brand

The best location in Riga: brilliant views and being close to everything. I requested a room being warmed up by my arrival and a particular location in the building and I was very happy with the attention of hotel staff to my request. Kristine at the check-in desk/check-out was exceptionally helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of Latvian traditional as well as Western food. Check out time is 12 p.m. which is later than in most hotels. This is very helpful.

Staff was very nice. Location - perfect. I have asked if it possible to get a room with the bath and I got it. Thank you. The room has very nice view. The hotel dont have own parking, but nearly there is a parking lot. But on the weekends, Saturday from 5pm there is no charges for parking in the street. And was easy to find the parking place. In total we liked this stay.

Sorry, but the beakfast was very very pure. Lack of joices and marmites of hot meal was not filled. Plus - no oil or other sauce was provided near the lettuce. So, I couldnt make even salats. Coffee delicious. But in total was dissapointment.

The location was excellent. The staff was particularly helpful in giving us tip on where to go for local, inexpensive food. The breakfast was good but as we were on a rush, we did not have time to eat (as you have to order some items)! I liked that they also provided some candies!

We waited a long time to be checked in. I guess we arrived an hour early, which we expected and communicated to the hotel. I was hoping that we can get in our room earlier but we didn't get our room until a little past 3 pm. (This is understandable.) The breakfast area is smallish so it may be hard to get seats when everyone is trying to eat breakfast. Nothing really stood out for me to say that it was excellent or bad. Overall, it was a good stay.

The location is wonderful and the staff were all unfailingly friendly helpful and efficient. A special word of praise for Anna on the reception who really excelled

The street outside is very noisy but there is excellent double glazing and I slept well. If you had needed to sleep with the window open, it would have been really very noisy. The supply of some toiletries was erratic.
