Exceptional place. Everything is chosen with taste, it’s elegant, artistic. Rooms are a story themselves. Location is great, close to Mar Michael bars, restaurants. Try Liza!

It’s not very quiet because of the lobby bar, which is a terrace open on the rooms upstairs. And the elevator is beautiful old school but noisy if your room is close. And the restaurants have disappointing food offers, international, not so special. A good local chef would clearly make it better.

Gorgeous, elegant hotel. Large, lovely room with huge bathroom. They gave us some amazing rose bath salts. There were many restaurants and relaxation spaces within the hotel itself. Fantastic angel food cake. Beautiful rooftop restaurants. Very nice food. The staff was attentive, well-mannered, excellent English language skills.

Neighborhood not walkable but they can't do anything about that. The following is a very small point. The music throughout the hotel and at the rooftop area is dated and cheesy. Try something that matches and enhances these exquisite spaces, like Rufus du Sol, or listen to the Spotify list 5.Rooftop Slow Down.

Exquisite decor and vibe. Hotel Costes meets Wes Anderson. Service was truly exceptional. Takes you back to how hotels should be run. Even the most exclusive hotels around the world have become heavily corporatized, standardized and have lost their charm and essence. Albergo retains all of the good stuff. Exceptional.

Literally nothing not to like

The hotel is definitely the best in the whole country, miles ahead of the competition ( I have been to grey - 4 seasons - kempinski - IC Phoenicia throught the years). Loved the atmosphere (cosy and full of character), and the service was great and a great improvement from my previous stay (very hospitable and courteous staff). The hotels location is also amazing. We were 2 minutes (walking) from some of the best restaurants and cafes in town and 5 minutes (by car) to the remaining best restaurants and cafes in town. Also, the hotel has the nicest spot on the roof for continental and Lebanese breakfast (delicious!) and has another spot on the ground floor for american style (pancakes and waffles). BF is served until 1130. 24-hour in room dining and roof restaurant, and it sometimes feels like you own the place and are just at home. The owners are on the right track to becoming number 1 in Lebanon, mark my words. Since 2018 (my first visit to the hotel) there have been some major improvements and works done throughout and it is my understanding that the work continues (they were starting to renovate the wc of a few rooms the day after we were checking out). Book it, and you will feel at home. We stayed in room 401 (spacious) for 3 days, and it was 'The Perfect Stay'.

The toilets/bathrooms are super clean but need some upgrades; bathtubs are hazardous, in my opinion (please install the shattaf instead of bidet). The lift is beautiful but is slow. The rooms require a little modern intorductions (new usb ports etc). The busy intersection can get noisy at times, but so do most locations in town. These things are minor inconveniences, to be honest, but worthwhile to point them out.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Albergo in Beirut. The staff were amazing - incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an authentic design that adds to the overall experience. Located in a good neighbourhood, there's plenty to explore nearby. One highlight is the hotel's rooftop bar, 'The Swimclub', which is a must-visit. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beirut.

The Albergo is the iconic hotel to stay in Beirut, its location as a little oasis in the middle of Ashrafieh is perfect and the design/decoration is admirable. The inner courtyard as well as the pool/Swim Club areas on the roof have been recently refurbished with taste and a lot of craftsmanship, which makes it a very pleasant (as well as instagrammable!..) place to stay. Overall the rooms are relatively quiet and one gets a good sleep, despite being located in a lively area. Breakfast and dining (either in-room or at one of the restaurants) are excellent, the staff truly gets out of their way to help out and there is a long-time experience in hospitality. Best hotel in Lebanon hands down!

The rooms could do with a little refresh/refurbishment as some are starting to show some signs of age. Also the upcoming Spa opening will be helpful/practical.

We loved everything! From the moment we arrived Albergo had us covered, a very good taxi at a decent price for transfer from the airport (the reason I know it was a good price is because we were quoted double from another hotel!). Warm welcome from friendly attentive staff and a platter of fruit, turkish delight and rose lemonades in our beautiful room. The whole hotel is stunning and has a real old world charm, it was so relaxing coming back to this elegant haven after the bustle of Beirut. We spent quite a bit of time at the pool, the rooftop bar and the patio - all of which were perfect. The gym is small but the equipment is very new and the view is great for a quick workout. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, I loved the bath and all the high quality products supplied. The bath salts smelt of jasmine, in a wonderful ornate vase. This hotel really knows that the small touches make the difference. Honestly, we did not want to leave this place and would come back in a heartbeat!

I had a problem with the noise from the ongoing renovation, we had to change room to stay as far away as possible... we should have been given the heads up about the renovation when the booking has been done

We loved every detail in the room; and their service is exceptional. Whenever we asked them something they always provide it to us even if they didnt have it on their premises and even if it was late at night. The chef at the restaurant even managed to make us a dessert that was removed from the menu. We felt that was so special. My fiancee and I would really love to have our special day occasion there.

A wonderful and stylish hotel , the most recent renovation was done with utmost taste and elegance , a truly lovely hotel with great rooms, in the stylish Lebanese fashion, a good mixture of European and Middle Eastern style , very friendly staff, may be some times not very well trained (restaurant) but on the whole I would say definitely the best and nicest hotel of Beirut.
