Not to be confused with other lancaster hotels in the area. We stayed in Rouche which is located on the front street opposite the Beach. Our room was located on the 8th floor, we had sea views out to the Mediterranean Ocean and could see out and down to the main street front. We liked the staff were all well presented, courteous and helpful. We liked that there were treats waiting for us on arrival to our room. A bowl of Plums/Biscuits/Dried Fruits/Sweets. Our room had ample amenities and was replenished daily, thankfully shavers/gel and a comb which was forgotten to be packed. We liked that the hotel had rooftop inside and outside seating with views for daily buffet breakfast and great Turkish coffee. Omelettes cooked the way you like and fresh juices daily, lots of choice/s. Staff were always professional and friendly. We liked that it was an easy walk to local restaurants/cafe's/ all along the main street of the hotel. The local nightlife for dining/cafe and service was excellent. We liked that there was always someone manning the front foyer.

We didn't like that it was difficult to catch taxis from the hotel and the driver/s that were available were very limited on English or in some cases didn't communicate in English at all. We found it a struggle trying to get to where we needed to go without having to relay our destination and directions to an employee at the hotel who spoke limited English, who then had to relay our destination/s to the driver. Disappointed in the vast difference in charges each time we took a taxi from the hotel to the same destination. Didn't like that smoking was accommodated in the main foyer. Didn't like that the downstairs bar/coffee area was rarely open for service.

location and view are great. my room was upgraded without extra charge. however i paid extra for VAT knowing that when i booked on booking.com it said all taxes are included. staff are phenomenal, extremely professional at all times and Friendly. thanks to Mustapha, Marwa, Farah, Rosalie and Hadi. all the others off course. i highly recommend this hotel.

nothing really. it’s just the unexpected tax that i paid at the property. when i book a hotel on booking.com it always says all taxes are included so why do i pay VAT in Lebanon. this doesn’t happen when i go to Turkey.

the hotel is fabulous, it is the best place to relax after long day of work, you can enjoy health club, the lounge, or even staying in your room enjoying the sea view. the staff is wonderful, helpful, and cheerful. the guest satisfaction is there main goal. the room is super clean. the food is very good especially the sushi. I would like to thank every worker but they are too much. but will send sincere greetings to Mr Mohamed the manger, Josailne, Ali, Mohamed, Ahmad, Mostafa, and sebel, and the restaurant staff samer, omar, Yousef , mahdi, Mohamed, Husain, Mr Rabih and Mr Qassim from room service, and Rowayda and Mervet from cleaning staff.

it is a place that have everything it needs to be 5 stars Hotel. the staff is very professional, well trained they know how to deal with any problem in no time. they seek the satisfaction of the guest by all means. they are working sincerely, very cheerful, welcoming, receive you with a smile. I would like them all but would like to thank Rosaline, Mostafa, Mohamed, and of course the manger Mr Mohamed .. the restaurants staff, the health club staff, and cleaning staff. The hotel has a distinguished location. the room has an amazing sea view, very clean and comfortable.

The sound insulation from the hallway (corridor) isn't great. It didn't ruin the experience, but it's something to be aware of.

I did enjoy my stay and I booked for a week but I did extand my stay for another 3 days I did like the location and the room as well thankfully being upgrade by booking.com and I did enjoy the size and the view of the room, the staff is helpful and friendly, The gym was good unfortunately the suna is little bit doesn't meet the standard when it's come to the heating the size is good but the heat was below 70 which should be at least 90. I the steam room is good. The spa was good as well, The food in the room service is a real 5 star standard as taste and standard, The breakfast buffet was good as well and the price I do find it fair as well, I would come back for sure

The cleaners sometimes they may thro anything so don't leave small things like pin or screw as they may just think it's trash which I can't blame them but unfortunately it's happened.

I stayed in both Lancaster Eden and Lancaster plaza and in all honesty I think I the plaza is better value for money. The view from the 14th floor was amazing. location wise you are closer to restaurants and shops than Eden however Eden has the benefit of the beach and that is what you are paying for. the shuttle service was very handy. the decor was as seen in the pictures

the lift was a bit slow but it was busy with wedding in the building that day.

the location is amazing. we enjoyed being near to everything. it was just a one night stay so we couldn’t enjoy the facilities well, but overall it was a great experience.

I took two rooms for me and my mom, so I will talk about the thing that annoyed me specifically. The room I slept in had a badd smell due to a problem in the plumbing system. This was not the case for my mom’s room. please pay vlose attention to this point and ask the room service to turn on the water always in the douche because the pipes were dry and the smell appeared to be more obvious when I am taking my shower. Secondly, please ask the room service to prepare the rooms well before asking the guests to go up. I found that my room was not equipped with the sponge. That’s all from my side

Everything was exactly as advertised - beautiful hotel, great location, delicious breakfast, sauna/steam/pool. Without exception, the staff were warm and friendly and went above and beyond in their service. I didn’t learn every name unfortunately, but two staff members who really stood out were Celine and Mustafa, who both assisted me during my stay.

I loved the staff and location. There was a Christmas cake in my room cos we landed on the 26th. This was thoughtful and appreciated. Cake tasted really good. I didn't have breakfast or use any facility, so I can not speak to that.

There was a smell from the plumbing or something. The floor room was stuffy on the first day.It an older building.
