This was my night staying at this hostel after staying here for a night 3 days before. Again, Ira was an expectional receptionist and great communicator. I was able to store and collect my big luggage bag with no issues on my arrival again after 3 days. Despite the limited receptionist hours, everything went smoothly. Dorm rooms had sockets near each bed, heating was present, and lockers were provided (locks were needed though). toilets were clean and hot water was present. The hostel was in the middle of the town which made it very easy to explore the old town with no issues. The hostel was a less than a 20min walk away from the bus station and also the bus stop to lead to the airport was not far either. There was a rule of no shoes allowed in the main hostel area, which made the place feel a lot cleaner. Great value for money hostel. Highly recommend it for people staying for short or long stays.

Like before, I did not have a towel as I forgot to ask. For future visitors it would be nice to ask them about if towels are required as after reception hours I was not able to communicate to get access to a towel. It was not the end of the world, thus only a minor suggestion.

A great choice and good value. Well lit, huge room. The price does seem to fluctuate, but for the 3 nights it was under the price for two beds in the dormitory. A downhill walk from the station. Great location. Friendly staff who keep everything clean - even if the guests don't

The room was a little cold with the radiator not being able to overcome the draft. I could have requested a heater. Other guests were very good with the showers and toilets, but if they were inconsiderate, there isn’t really enough if the place was full. There was a miscommunication when I checked out, about where the airport bus stop was, but that’s my fault for not checking until after the bus drove past.

* Centrally located to everything in Old Town, the hostel was perfect. It is close to churches, restaurants, shopping, and monuments. * The storage in the room was perfect. *The hostel staff were very helpful in providing directions and ideas of things to see and do. They also helped me locate a laundry off-site b/c the hostel doesn't have a washer and dryer. * It is merely a 12 to 15 walk from the train station.

I wish there were more electric outlets in the lounge and lower by the lower bunks.

I really enjoyed staying at Mikalo House. It was exactly what I had hoped for - A well-priced hostel near the city's historical centre. I arrived late at night as I had taken a bus from another city but the information provided via Booking.com made it easy to let myself in and find my bed and everything. I met some nice people at the hostel even though I was only there for one night and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful :)

The only downside that I can think of was the difficulty I had unlocking the door when I arrived. The lock is a bit sticky so you need to play around with it a bit to get the lock to open. The first few attempts I didn't get it right and thought that I would be stuck, but I quickly figured it out.

Location was pretty strategic – close to the central square, traditional market, restaurants/cafés/bars, and easy connection to the airport. Room was warm and so were my roommates! (it was my first time to stay in a hostel in a mixed-dorm room of 4 people where all of us just wanted to chat to each other and even became friends by the end of our trips – well, maybe I was just lucky ;) ). Also, not to forget mentioning the out-of-this-world kindness/hospitality of Asta and her son to fulfill my "Draw me a dragon" special request hahah.

Would've been more than perfect if the other shower/toilet worked. But who cares, I actually woke up late anyways and most of the occupants had already used the main shower/toilet in the morning, so I could have it for myself for a quite long time 😂

Lovely place and very comfortable, with all the necessary services. I had the opportunity to share some experiences with the roommates, and the Ukrainian lady at reception was extremely helpful. She happily answered my questions and even gave me some great food recommendations for when I travel to Ukraine in the future!

Last night, a guy stayed in the room who snored like a thousand demons, waking everyone up. Of course, it's not the hostel's fault, which I still rate a 10/10! It's all part of the shared room experience!

Easy to access the room, open 24/7. Close to restaurants, bars and tourist attractions etc.

Hosteli ishte një përvojë fantastike! Ambienti i pastër dhe i rehatshëm, stafi mikpritës dhe gjithmonë i gatshëm për të ndihmuar. Lokacioni ishte perfekt, afër qendrës dhe lehtë për t’u eksploruar gjithçka përreth. Me siguri do të rikthehem sërish!

Hosteli kishte potencial, por për fat të keq mungonin disa elemente bazë. Nuk ishin të disponueshëm peshqirët dhe nuk mu shpjegua qartë se ku mund të bëja dush. Do të ishte mirë të përmirësohej komunikimi me klientët për këto detaje.

Amazing location, right by the old town. Loads of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. The receptionist was lovely. I arrived a few hours before check in time and she was able to accommodate me. The hostel was incredibly clean. Kitchen had everything you needed.

The mattress was quite thin and you could feel the bed boards a bit. Room overlooked the street and got quite noisy with people shouting at night.
