The proximity of the hotel to the airport is excellent.literally a 10-minute walk from the airport. Free trams into town every 7-10 mins. You can not hear the traffic from the airport in the rooms. The room was clean, and there was plenty of room for cases. Hotel staff were friendly. Meals served in restaurant and bar snacks available. There is a beer garden too. Toilets in the lobby were very clean. Fridge and microwave provided in room. Air conditioning, black out blind and curtains. Hairdryer and toiletries provided to use. Linen was very clean on bed. Room temperature adjustable with the AC. Tv has a selection of channels in French, German, and English. We were there for 4 nights, and this establishment suited our requirements as we went sightseeing and were out for the majority of our time there.

Little storage for clothes - had to leave them in case. Extractor fan on constantly in bathroom which was quite loud. Unplugged fridge for the same reason. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Floor got quite wet in bathroom when showering - slip hazard. Some alterations/repairs occurring during lunchtime so unable to access restaurant, however open at breakfast and teatime. Could order bar food but limited choice.

It was quiet (wouldnt have known about the airport if you couldnt see it!), extremely clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff at breakfast were friendly and working hard to keep everything running seamlessly. Bus into town stops right outside and the walk to the airport with suitcases and our 4yo took just a few minutes. Functional for our short stay and cheaper than staying in the city. We were at the end of a multi-location trip for a series of family events so budget was our main concern. Spotlessly clean!

Expensive for the basic level- there's no tea and coffee bits in the rooms, breakfast was all good but fairly limited and the same each day etc. WiFi required you to pay for 24 hours or sign up to some ibis club thing. That might have just been marketing emails- who knows- because when we tried to ask what it was at reception, without looking up she just said that there was no password for the wifi and went back to tapping at her computer.

Having stayed at Ibis hotels in a few locations, I can say they are consistent about being exactly average - not exceptionally good, not disappointingly bad, just a normal hotel experience every time. This Luxembourg location follows the same pattern, and I actually appreciate that predictability when traveling. The staff were friendly and professional throughout my stay, making check-in and check-out smooth and efficient. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with good variety and quality - a great way to start the day. While it won't win any awards for luxury, this Ibis does exactly what it should... provide clean, comfortable rooms and dependable service. If you're looking for a straightforward stay without any surprises, this hits the mark perfectly.

There was not enough body wash at the shower.

Great breakfast and it was available already from 6am, soundproof rooms therefore you cannot hear the planes landing and departing although you are near the airport. Even if you happen to book this hotel simply because there were no rooms available in the city center, it's not a big problem - there is a tramway from the airport to the center in a matter of minutes. On the other hand when you leave it's an advantage because you don't have to drag your suitcase from the city center. Come to the airport comfortably light after your business is done, grab your suitcase in the hotel and check it in at the airport almost immediately. I really appreciated that. If you are runner you can find little woods here and there in the surroundings to do your running undisturbed by the traffic.

I usually prefer a bit bigger rooms, however I wouldn't put it as a dislike for this hotel. For the price requested, this was adequate size.

The location was very close to the airport and had a huge parking space that made it easy to travel by car. The bus stop to Luxembourg city was right outside and it took only 15 mins to reach the city. The room was clean and the staff were very friendly. The staff gave us suggestions on other local attractions in the country to visit.

The temperature control was not great. The room was hot, even with the heating system off, and when we opened the window to let the air in, it was too noisy due to the nearby airport. The heating system had a mechanism to maintain a temperature below 20, but it did not function effectively. Breakfast was a bit pricy, but it had a good spread

After telling staff about our room we’ve been put into two adjoining rooms on the 4th floor. These rooms were fresh, clean with working showers and a really nice view as well. The breakfast next day was exceptional, we’ve all enjoyed it very much!

Initially we were accommodated in a family room on the ground floor. The decor was dated and the room had a metallic smell, so we opened the windows to find out that people smoke outside that room. The shower also did not have pressure so water was only slowly flowing out of it.

I liked that we came before 14:00 and the room was ready for us. Everything was clean! Water in the tap was pure for drinking. The location is great if you have a morning flight! The staff are very pleasant!

I don't like that in this hotel there is only one big towel for a person. Only for face, hands, and body! I was confused. It was the first time when I faced with such strange situation! But when I asked another one., I was given a big one because the hotel doesn't have small towels for hands and face! Really strange! And the other thing there wasn't a kettle or a coffee machine in the room. I travel a lot and usually hotels provide this option. It's a tiny comfort that is important for many visitors! In general I liked this hotel.

The room was very basic but comfortable and clean and well laid out. It really met my needs, as I do not need luxury on a short stay before catching a flight. Budget breakfast was a real value. The room was clean and well made up. I like the way the room was set up with a desk by the window . The bathroom is really nice. It was super quiet when I first got there but later I could hear people talking and I even heard someone urinating in one of the adjacent rooms. So sound control isn't the best. fortunately the noises did not continue late into the night. Location cannot be beat: proximity to the airport and with a bus stop right next to the hotel for visiting the city . And a cup of coffee was provided free of charge in the regular Ibis dining room , my second morning. I greatly appreciated that.

It was super quiet when I first got there but later I could hear people talking and I even heard someone peeing in one of the adjacent rooms. So sound control isn't the best. I appreciated the gym machines but there were no handweights in the gym.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. We arrived early but the room was ready, so they allowed us to do an early check-in. The check-in process and nice and easy and in just some minutes we were in our room. The room was modern, clean and its size was OK for a two-night stay. Having power outlets in each side of the bed was good and we had enough space to organise our stuff. The highlight is the proximity to the aiport. It's just a 15-minute walk from it, and although it may seem that it is far from the city center, there are two options of FREE public transport (either leaving from the airport or from a bus stop in front of the hotel), with a good frequency. We stayed here for two two days and both days we could go to the city center easily.

The breakfast is quite expensive for the options they offer.

Very good stay. One of the advantages of the hotel localization - walking distance to the Luxemburg Airport (however a free hotel shuttle is also available) and at the same time to bus stop with many connections (Luxexpo station, city centre). Very clean, comfortable room with lots of electric sockets as well as USB plug sockets. Although it is an airport hotel, it is very quite. Big, clean bathroom. I really appreciated freshly squeezed free orange juice for breakfast. If I ever return to Luxemburg, I will definitely stay again in this hotel.

One of the elevators was out of order during the whole stay.
