The local's location is very handy - one tram stop from the airport (I walked it in 8 minutes). When you enter the hotel, on either side of the reception desk there is the bar and the restaurant, which gives a welcoming feel. The staff were very friendly and welcoming at reception, as well as in the bar and restaurant. The room was well laid out, with the desk right by the window, so I was able to work in natural light with a pleasant view. I had two nice meals at the hotel restaurant. I would happily stay here again!

The mattress was softer than I like, but I still slept well. Fixtures in the bathroom starting to show signs of aging - the door and handbasin area looked a little worn

I really liked the bathroom, particularly the quality of the modern shower, which had high water pressure for a relaxing bath. The bed linens and towels were extremely clean and white. The staff were very polite and professional. I would highlight the hotel’s breakfast for its excellent value for money. Just €17 for a buffet with a wide variety of food options, including fruits, bread, pastries, yoghurts, cereals, cheeses, sweets, eggs, bacon, tea, juice and many other sweet treats like muffins and cakes. The breakfast area is also very spacious.

The room is clean and comfortable, although the bed left something to be desired as the mattress isn’t soft and was even a bit sunken. It should be replaced (I’ve booked a two single beds-room). The TV could offer English-language channel options.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Mandarina during my recent trip to Luxembourg. The hotel's location is its biggest advantage—conveniently situated just a short, comfortable walk from the airport, which was incredibly helpful after a long flight. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, offering a relaxing atmosphere and ample room to unwind. Another highlight is the hotel's proximity to public transportation. Directly opposite Hotel Mandarina are the Heienhaff tram station and the Senningerberg, Autobunn bus stop. Both provide frequent and reliable connections to the main railway station and Luxembourg City center, making it easy to explore the area without needing a car. Overall, if you're looking for the best combination of convenience, comfort, and connectivity in Luxembourg, Hotel Mandarina is a perfect choice. Highly recommended!

The breakfast menu need to have more food items

This hotel is even more attractive because the tram now goes to the airport. I recommend this hotel because it is close to the airport, and it takes 15-20 minutes to get to the city by tram or bus. Public transport is free. The breakfast was very good and very varied - eggs, different spreads (marmalade, nutella), fruit and classic yogurts, cold cuts of meat and cheese, cereals, fruit, etc. The room was spacious as was the toilet. The staff is fantastic, if you need anything, just come to the reception and ask.

Good hotel, with enough free parking and very friendly staff. Luckily the restaurant was open on Friday evening when we arrived, and the served meals were very tasty. At breakfast there was enough choice; but it might be better to cover cakes and bread to keep them from drying out. It was very easy to travel by free public transport to Luxemburg city from the hotel

it's always nice to have 2 chairs when traveling with 2 people. The shower was nice but the temperature wasn't constant so sometimes the water was very hot, and then it turned quite cold! There were still road works next to the hotel so there was quite some noise, but hopefully that will end when the road works are finished,

Very close to the airport (walking distance) and close to public transport. The city center is also very well connected by bus. The staff was very helpful and the lobby is well decorated. There are some construction works going on but we couldn't hear a thing! In overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

There is no possibility to check in before 15:30, even with a fee, which I find a bit strange since this is an airport hotel. As a colleague (in a different airport hotel), there should be at least a charge for early check in, especially for all the people arriving with international flights.

The location is superb. It is very near to the airport, and the bus stop is just a few steps away. The hotel's cleanliness is great. The cleaners did a very good job in maintaining its cleanliness. The staff are friendly and multilingual. The breakfast buffet has plenty of food.

The room is quite small. There is no table in the room. The TV channels are all in French/German/Luxembourgish. Although this is understandable because those are their languages. However, it would be great if the TV was smart so we could have the option of watching YouTube as lots of tourists only understand English.

Located 10min walk from the airport. Restaurant on site. Comfortable bed. Has everything that is needed for short stays. Downtown LUX is a short drive from the hotel. Places to walk and relax. No outside noise in the room, such as planes or cars.

What is there not to like? I didn't have the opportunity to eat breakfast as my flight was early in the morning.

It is a very nice, relatively small hotel near the airport which is surprisingly quiet. Very helpful staff and comfortable bed. No compromises with cleanliness. A very convenient bus stop almost in front of the hotel that connects you to a fabulous and free public transportation system including to the airport, centre of the city, train and bus station, even a direct bust to Trier on weekdays after lunch.

Nothing really except maybe that there is no fridge but it is not a big deal.
