Room was spacious, good view of the city and mountains around. Staff were very polite and accommodative.

Room aircon had a stuffy smell. I believe it requires better maintenance. The lift and floorway carpets look very old and dusty, they should be replaced to improve the ambience of the hotel. Breakfast had very limited vegetarian (Indian) options and menu items were mostly repeated everyday. Omlettes were mostly pre-cooked and not flexible in our choice of making. Diversity of breakfast can be enhanced to include Thai, Indian, Western and other cuisines of food on a rolling basis.

room service was perfect. staff taking order are polite ,staff sending food are nice. food taste good,tq chef. front office staff very helpful. housekeeping are ok. overall very convenient as near to spice arena(the reason we came to penang).

i just had an incident once,where need to call 3 times to refill water dispenser.but i guess they are busy or maybe short of staff. also tv has only old shows for hits movie and most of the time channel dissapear.

The staff except english is a challenge here.

The food quality is pretty bad. The beef and chicken were so tough I couldnt eat them and the fish was so over cooked I could barely eat it. And the housekeeping staff need training in service, towels, and keeping the water cooler full and the soap dispenser in the shower and the sinkron full and operational.

In room dining time. I’m a regular customer at olive treeif i came back to penang. Before if i arrived 1@2am also their in room dining time 24hours,we can order anytime. But now 10am till 10.30pm. If they can do like before will be more happy. Mostly eid time many restaurant close outside.

Staffs are super friendly and helpful, no hassle check-in in and out. Easy to locate and good accessibility, traffic around the place is relatively easy. Very clean room, plenty of lighting and good water room setup, complete with iron, fridge and safe.

No kids pool and the pool is very small, not much of gym, sauna. Exit of parking is also a hassle, when I have to u turn at impossible narrow corner. U have to make a reverse to go through it. Breakfast is just okay, could be more generous in selection and little bit more effort on the taste.

Housekeeping & reception didnt deliver the tea spoon, as promised. Request made twice, once before dinner, and once after dinner. Requested for a twin bed during booking, but was informed on site that the room type only has double bed.

Very accessible and near the convention center. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Building was very nice. Breakfast was ok but could be improved in terms of variety. But overall, staff was accommodating. The managers step in when they see their employees being overwhelmed with guests.

Lobby was a little noisy but when inside the room it’s very quiet. The bellman was very busy so some guests waited for a while before being entertained at the concierge.

The concept of a green-focused hotel. Inside the room, they allocate a small bin for guests to throw away recyclable materials. And on every floor's corridor, they also provide recycle bins. Each room is provided with a water dispenser, and you can drink as much as you want. not limited to 2 water bottles as in other hotels.

the hotel lift is not accessible directly from the parking area. the hotel guest needs to use the parking lift, down to the hotel lobby, then change to another lift to went up to the room. so need to wait 2 times each time if want to go to the parking area - room. the parking lifts are also small and only occupy 3-4 people (without any baggage) each time.

The food was quite decent and normal. Not a huge spread of items but enough to go by. Nasi lemak was probably the best they had on the buffet spread.

I was rather surprise that the staff cleared all the food away by 10am. We came down late around 9.45am and as we completed our 1st round, i noticed the staff started to clear all the food trays. I though normally it would be around 10.30am or 11am that they will make a change from breakfast to lunch setting. I was even more taken aback when nobody came around to warm us to at least gave us the heads up that they will be packing up the food items as that would have given us enough time to go back for the last round.

Good location, nearby shop lots which offer food from nasi kandar, western, to cafés. Reasonable gym room and swimming pool. Ample carparks on site. Plus a nice touch from the hotel to send a complimentary cake to the room as it was my partner’s birthday during the stay.
