The hotel was clean, well located and being able to walk across to the aquatic Centre via the roof top gardens was a bonus. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, both in terms of quality, selection and also the room. The team cooking the curries and breads (fresh I might add) were the best we had eaten across our whole trip (including hawker markets in various areas across Malaysia).

The interconnecting door between our rooms didn’t work properly and was poorly placed so it made it very difficult to leave open. The swimming pool closed too early in the evening, which was a real shame as the evenings were beautiful.

The rooms had such a luxurious feel to them and they were exceptionally clean and well thought of the little details. The staff make you feel very welcome and answer your questions really well. Its a great location for the conference centre and they have great amenities.

However, the bed was just too hard. At a hotel you expect some level of cushyness. You want the bed to be firm but not rock hard. I woke up sore the next day. Was just the only thing that ruined it for me. Just did not sleep well and woke up feeling like I had been hit sadly.

Expected from 5 star hotel, staffs were great and polite even the cleaner was respectful. I asked for high floor and non smoking room so I was assigned to room at 12th floor. Nice view. Very clean room. Soft comfy pillows.They prepared extra pillows just in case if you need extra. Spacious room so Muslims can pray comfortably. Aircond not too strong but just nice so you can feel comfortable enough. Parking space was well lit and big. Dont have to use tng or visa or parking ticket. U just need to inform staff at reception ur car number and u r good to go. Easier and convenient for guests. Breakfast spread was good and food is OK. I love their scramble egg and nasi lemak. But i wish they have juices. I was able to order food in room service. Service was good. Staff was respectful. And food was great.

Location is far from main attraction. I was a little confuse to get to parking lot for guests. I had to circle the area a few times to get to the entrance. Fortunately the guard was very helpful and instructed me how to get to the parking lot. TV was a bit troublesome. When I went to other hotels with welcome message on the screen I just need to press any buttons and it went away. So I can watch TV with ease. But this hotel required a few more steps which I need to figure out myself. Annoying.

Service: The staff was so friendly and helpful. They were quick to greet me every time I entered the building, and held doors open for me. Breakfast buffet: There was a situation where the watermelon at the breakfast buffet had gone a bit sour, and the staff were proactive to seek out the tables that had taken watermelon and gave us a fresh plate of fruit. Pool: I loved the pool experience. Clean and the it being a salt water pool was such a lovely surprise! Also appreciated that there were many cubicles and showers next to the pool. Rooms: My absolutely favourite thing were the beds. I can't believe how comfy they were. Another design feature that I loved was that the shower faucet was away from the shower heads, ensuring that I wouldn't HAVE to be caught in the cold water whilst waiting for the water temperature to increase. Will definitely 100% come and stay again!

Breakfast: The doughnuts were a bit on the dry side. Roof Garden: I was a bit disappointed that the garden looked like it wasn't well maintained. The bamboo was overgrown and some looked lopsided. Wish there was a sauna/jacuzzi!

Excellent staff service attitude. From check in to the bell service, room service, restaurant staff, everyone we countered have a smile on their faces. A new hotel so everything was new and clean. We were also presented with a nice surprised of being upgraded to a suite.

The breakfast spread were good, however some of the hot items were cold. That said, the restaurant duty manager was very responsive. He took immediate action and even came to our table to let know what action was taken to address the matter. Excellent service recovery. The is a no so good smell coming from the toilet bowl, even though it is clean. We sprayed some shampoo into the bowl to mask it.

Staff very helpful and friendly. Room well decorated, comfortable and very clean. Great breakfast buffet served in the Amaya restaurant. We stayed over Christmas and also booked the buffet Christmas lunch and Christmas eve buffet dinner. Both meals offered a wide variety of different foods illustrating the multicultural diversity that is Penang.

Pool was very clean and the area spotless however the pool was a bit small and the pool bar was not always staffed, although there was a bell to ring for service.

We booked Executive Deluxe King Room. Great spacious hotel! Smooth check in and I have been briefing from staff incharge with the benefits and entitlement of this package itself. The food was very delicious and variety of foods has been served during breakfast as well as the foods served in Executive Lounge. Staff also was very helpful. The hotel was surrounded with other buildings, but its OK since the hotel has beautiful roof garden (greenery area). What I like most for this hotel - I can select the variety of pillow and its really help me to get sleep well. The pillow was very comfortable and fluffy! Overall, I am very satisfied with all the facilities and hospitality provided by the hotel to us. Definitely will come again in future!

Swimming pool quite small...

The room was nice and very nice brakfast that at a wide space that can let people having their meal enjoyable. The design of the hotel was very pretty, a high class hotel that must visit.

The car park barrier was very annoying, for any hotel guest still need to go to looby reception for complimentary carpark. Should be scan the car plate and we give car plate number to direct go out the car park because sometimes there was crowed at the reception for people need to check in & check out and we need to wait for them. When in a hurry it was very bother。

Room was nice, bar was relaxing as was pool. Breakfast was phenomenal, but if you left table to get more food they would clear everything even personal items..very weird. Walkable to Spice Pisa market which has good selection.

Some staff at check in/out counter were cold and not welcoming. It’s a bit far from action and given traffic it can be a pain even with affordable ride shares.

The hotel is really good value for the money, it is new and it looks good. There were also some possibilities to eat in the hotel, the food was good and the prices were decent. it is very close to the airport, you can get there in 15 mins provided there is no traffic.

It can be a little loud with all the traffic around the hotel. I also didn't particular like the fact that there was some mold in the bathroom. I know the climate is really humid but I expect things like these to be taken care of by the staff. If you are coming to Penang for Georgetown, please note it is at least 40-45 mins away with the usual traffic. We spent forever to try and find a ride to Georgetown and the traffic was horrendous.
