The welcome we received from doorman, reception staff and duty manager was exceptional. We arrived in a large vehicle with bikes on the back and the duty manager went out of his way to find us a suitable parking space and helped us off load the bikes. Breakfast buffet was plentiful with a variety of choices offered each day of our three night stay. The GM was very visable, approachable and, like the rest of the staff, she was happy to talk to us at any time.

The pool was nice, and used it every day, but a minor issue was lack of housekeeping, specifically the sun beds. It would have been nice to be able to order up drinks / snacks at the pool. Both of these are minor issues which did not impact our overall assessment of the hotel

Room 615. 1. Close to where I intended to go to for my planned activity. 2. Mall close by with ample food outlets. 3. Quiet location. 4. Close to express bus terminal. 5. Room was decently spacious. 6. Air-cond was cold enough. 7. Decent view. 8. Mini fridge is cold enough; kettle, flat-screen TV, hot water shower worked well. 9. Comfortable bed. 10. Friendly, cheerful, helpful and accommodating staff from Housekeeping! 11. Two shower heads available; one with adjustable shower modes. 12. Helpful doormen throughout stay and FOH staff during check-in/out.

1. Sound-proofing for room needs improvement - guest conversation and activity in the corridor, and neighbouring units' room doors closing can be heard. 2. Can hear the toilet flushing from the unit upstairs. 3. Curtains do not provide good black-out - light seeps through the sides and at the bottom of the curtains.

Everything. The best hotel my family have ever stayed in Penang. The check-in is very quick and we are big family so that's a big plus. All the staff are very accomodative and helpful from the valet staff, front-desk and maintenance. We had problem with our first room as the air-cond is not functioning well, the maintenance staff arrived quick to resolve the issue. The room and toilet especially is very clean. The breakfast is the reason we chose this hotel and it did not disappoint. They change swap the menu everyday so there are always something new to try. The location is a big plus as it is within walking distance to Penang biggest mall, Queensbay, there are hundreds of shops to explore. It is also a short drive to Penang famous Medan Ikan Bakar Teluk Tempoyak. So we will definitely come back.

Just the parking is limited if you book during functions and program seasons but its ok otherwise.

This is not our first time staying for my family and me. 1. Room = Nice and comfy 2. Location = preferable with shops and shopping malls nearby (walking distance) 3. Breakgfast = absolutely magnificient. good food. varieties. detox drink. recommended 4. Valet parking = since we drove a big MPV as the basement parking was quite tough to maneuver.

price can be quite in the high side maybe can get discount

Had to postpone initial booking due to Covid19. The hotel staff assisted to meet this request through booking.com staff. Rooms were nice and clean, Club level was good, nice and comfy bed and pillows. Staff were friendly and helpful. Brekafst spread was good

Due to renovation, buffet breakfast had to be served at the function rooms - with enclosed environment, it can be quite stuffy and smoky from the egg counter. But this is temporary measure, hopefully the renovation will be ready soon.

Friendly, courteous, and helpful staff and atmosphere. Excellent buffet spread. Kudos to their great staff, Suraya, Parthiban, Vivek, Shweta, to name a few. Wish our stay could have been longer. Will definitely choose Eastin for our next stay in Penang.

The narrow parking space is truly outrageous. Not enough space to even get out of the car. Also the traffic congestion during the peak hours is another dilemma we faced driving out from the hotel to main road.

Great location if you want to avoid Georgetown. The Mall is nearby and easily access by 5 minutes walk. The view from 12 floor toward the island is okay.

The smoking area smack right at the doorway. Disturb movement of people walking out from the hotel. Very unfortunate during my stay the valet allow a few big bikes park very near the doorway, creating inconvenience for people moving in and out of the hotel.

Short walking distance from the Queensbay Mall which has a wide selection of various cuisines and retail outlets. Wide selection of hawker food is also available outside the Mall. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable as well as helpful.

My 2nd time staying herr. Book the Club level. The staff was great, esp those at Club Lounge. Very convenient since close to Queensbay Mall and got a decent nasi kandar reataurant just behind the hotel Room was clean, although maybe not that spacious. Staff was great. Buffet breakfast had a good spread. Mattress and pillows were good. Highly recommended.

We checked in very late, at 2 am. The staff was considerate and let us check out later than noon. There was 24-hour food ordering for room service. The bed was so comfortable. The aircon was cool enough. The hotel was conveniently located, only 4 minute walk to Queensbay Mall.

The lights can be brighter in the room.
