Good service and friendly staff. I especially like the brightness of lights in the bathroom and the body gel smells great.

Nothing much to do at the hotel. Was thinking maybe due to the fact that it is newly opened, facilities are not fully made available.

Mostly great! Our room was club level, which was fabulous, with amazing views, a great bathtub, and excellent access to the M Club. We also loved the well equipped gym - super clean and has everything you need. The room itself was very spacious, with an incredibly comfortable bed and brilliant soundproofing. On our first day, we were also incredibly impressed by the food and the fact that the chef accommodated my food allergies without any issues. The staff in the M Club were fabulous, super attentive and polite. We dined at Kucina that night, and while the server was amazing, the chefs looked totally uninterested and annoyed that we came in an hour before they closed. Also a special mention to the room service staff, they were so sweet and loved a chat! :)

It seems the ball was dropped a little on the second day of our stay, waiting for almost one hour in the M Club for salmon and salad, and a whole garlic bulb added to my dish that night (allergic). Felt the check out experience could be friendlier. Check in was great, the girl was really friendly, but check out was lacking in something.

Where to begin? The facilities were fabulous, food fantastic, turn down service sensational, but their greatest asset- the staff! The staff, from walking through the front door after an exhausting day of travel, to jumping in the car back to the airport on the day of departure, were beyond exceptional. No area of the hotel lacked when it came to their staff. Truly impressive.

I had a fantastic experience with Hotel Marriot Penang. The room was comfortable and fully accommodated. The staff Mr. Ammar provides an exceptional service by keeping me easier during the check in process. He explained every single things about the room until the detailing of engraving mirror. He suggested me local dining attraction and few nice places in penang which made me will return to this hotel next time. Oh the tiramisu cake was very delicious. We repeated second time. Thank you 🙏🏻

Very good location in walking distance from 2 shopping malls . Opposite to the hotel there is equipped walking area along the sea , convenient for family with children for comfort walking. Hotel is very clean, room are spacious, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection has good variety of food, beverages.

Breakfast area is not very big, sometimes need waiting for sitting for breakfast.

Nice hotel in Gurney Bay, all the staff were very pleasant and accommodating, There are good restaurants particularly Kucina, there are a couple of shopping malls about a 10 minute walk plenty of restaurants etc. Old Georgetown is some way away so if you plan to do a walking tour of the old town and jetties then best to get a grab car but they are very cheap.

Throughly enjoyed our stay at the Penang Marriott hotel. The service provided by Ivan and the team was exceptional. Everybody was attentive and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay even more special. The location of the hotel perfect, away from the hustle of George Town. The hotel rooms good size and clean. Buffet breakfast offered a good variety of choice. Would highly recommend this hotel to make stay in Penang extra special

The check in and check out proccess was very fast. Opposite the hotel there a beautiful park for walking along the seaside and its good for kids. Food can be found all along the hotel area.

The room was very spacious with amazing views, yet, there is some construction which takes away from it. The hotel was super clean, with very helpful and kind staff. The breakfast buffet was exceptional as well as the other restaurants with the hotel. All the dishes were fresh, and tasty with good portions.
