Really comfortable bed, good air con, big bright windows with good view at day time, and exceptional black out curtains if you want a lie in. pleasant staff, right next to street hawker food, and a short walk to a big supermarket.

The location is slightly away from central georgetown, but a grab taxi takes you there in minutes for next to nothing. The breakfast is very Indian orientated, but that is no problem for me, and provably caters for their main clientele. although there were lovely omelettes made to order. I didn't use the pool so can't comment on it, but when I looked it wasn't massive

The staff were welcoming, friendly & always professional. The location, in the centre of Georgetown was extremely busy because I arrived on the first day of Tet holidays. Some very interesting places to see within walking distance. Incredible view from my room.

The windows were sealed shut in my 12th floor room so I had no fresh air in my room. No facilities for smokers at all although when I booked it indicated there was. The swimming pool area was not monitored and it wasn't usually possible to relax and swim due to the amount of very noisy children & their parents who ignored noise pollution

Perfect location to experience the life & culture in the centre of George Town on national holidays. I stayed for a week during the Tet holidays & the whole area was buzzing with visitors & locals celebrating.

The road outside the hotel was busy almost 24/7. Most car drivers were sensible and appreciated pedestrians, but the motor bikes were noisy & drove very fast. As a disabled person, travelling alone, this was often very stressful. There were few pedestrian crossings & the drivers ignored them anyway.

Love the spacious room, friendly and helpful staffs and good location of the hotel which is within short drive to most of the food spots I have on my list for this trip! Also the complimentary parking at the hotel's carpark save a lot of hassle throughout our stay here. The room's facilities and toiletries provided are great too.

Would have preferred if we get a room with better view. Also bath towels are sometimes found with stains with the daily towel change.

The location is great and accessible to local specials. The room was cosy and clean. Breakfast was good too. The staff were very much helpful and friendly.

The slip they provide for parking access always doesnt work. We stayed for about 4 days there. Each time it didnt work and we have to get help from security to open the barricade for us to exit the parking. But they were helpful to us in sorting it each time.

This was our 2nd stay this time for 2 nights since our last overnight here in 2015. Once again, we chose Sunway for its perfect location, allowing us to walk to New Lane Hawker Street and the Church of Our Lady of Sorrows, which we longed to visit. We also liked the covered car park with direct lift access from our room. Our experience mirrored our previous stay; we were delighted with the rooms and enjoyed another comfortable stay, rekindling beautiful memories.

I lived Sunway Georgetown Hotel in 2 days with trust because their services was great. The hotels environment was clean and neat, power supplies and wifi are useable. Working staffs are very polite. The breakfast although the food exactly similar in these 2 days but I'm still enjoyable, wonderful and delicious.

I hope that my booking hotel was the same as the location nearby the lifts as shown in the remarks. Overall, there are crowded food stalks may cause inconvenience to drive to the hotel in the evening until night.

Great that night market is just outside the hotel. Can just pack and enjoy food in the room. Many other food options in the area. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room.

Far from the main area with wall murals. We only found out that they hv shuttle bus services to main areas on the last day and didnt get to use it. Would hv been great if staff told us on first day.

Great location, especially for our large group. The rooms are a little dated but they are very comfortable and have everything that I needed. The WiFi was strong enough to do a series of zoom meetings which was an added bonus. Staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was plentiful and my colleagues loved it. However, I have dietary restrictions which meant that (like many hotels) my options were very limited. I was also confused by the little store in the foyer which never seemed to be open. But these are very minor things in a good stay.

1) Strategic location - Easy accessibility hence is easy to get grab in order to move around in Penang ! - Opposite hotel - lots of famous Penang biscuits hence no need to get it from touristy place such as Armenian street - Vibrant evening due to delicious evening street food ! Penang is pretty quiet at night and nothing much too. 2) Bed is huge & v comfortable.. one of the best bed we have encountered so far ! 3) Staff - front desk were friendly and helpful !!
