It was my second stay during May and booked a the queen size room. It was more than enough space for myself. Water pressure was very good and a good nights sleep on the bed. There are a large variety of food stalls and restaurants to choose from in the area and my favourite was the across from the hotel, 77 Rangoon. For myself, everything was within walking distance. Reccomend!

If the hotel had some English channels it would of been nice.

The location was a pleasant 15 minute walk to the bus terminal. The staff were super friendly and very obliging. You were always greeted in a warm friendly manner and always with a smile!!

The room was looking a little bit tired ie wall paper peeling and the shower was too tepid for me.

Excellent hotel for the price, friendly staff. Room was small but suited my needs. Location, a bit away from the main tourist attractions, however grab was cheap and easy to get.

Location wise is strategic to Penang's capital city, Georgetown and its location is surrounded with local restaurants and convenience stores. While the road is bustling with cars and motorcycles due to local eateries around the area, surprisingly I had a quiet room. As I entered the premise, I was taken aback at its minimalist yet attractive interior design. Receptionist was friendly and his service counter was fast. My room was at level 1, and luckily this hotel had access to 1st and 2nd floors via elevator as I brought heavy baggage along. My room was quite spacious, and again, its interior design was just as nice as high stars hotel even though the hotel I booked did not come with windows. The bed was comfy, floor was carpeted, many plug points available in the room, mugs and complimentary mineral water bottles were available in the room. My room level also had ironing board, water dispenser together with sachets of coffee/tea and sugars/creamers outside the room at the dining area. Due to this, you can eat your food at the dining area while looking at the scenery as it came with windows. Bathroom had hot shower and toiletries.

The biggest flaw of the hotel is it only has two parking spaces in front of the hotel, which means first come first serve basis. But you can encounter this problem by going around the town on foot/ take public transports. If you come by car, aside from two slots at the hotel, there are many public parking spaces available near the hotel, however it's depends on your luck to get it especially during the night as many restaurants are opened for business till midnight. TV was lacked of programs so the entire day I only watched one channel. WiFi also was unstable, and download pages couldn't be access.

The atmosphere is very pleasant and cozy... clean and tidy... very comfortable to go on vacation with family..

the toilet water drops a little slowly in the hole, , there is only a mirror in the toilet, if there is a mirror in the room, it is a little comfortable. God willing, it will come again.

Average sized room and bathroom. Good shower pressure. Toiletries provided, filtered water and ironing facilities available. Really great staff. Quiet at night. 20 minute walk to Komtar. Good kandar around the corner for breakfast. Excellent food court with cheap food and alcohol on Burmah Road, 10 minutes walk away.

Due to size of the room, there is no real space to put your clothes, pretty tight. Wi-Fi wasn't working at time of review. Also note that the reception is not 24 hours.

Good location with many eateries around the hotel. Room was clean with nice bed and aircond works well. Bathroom is clean with good power shower. The hotel provides drinking water dispenser just next to the lift. Overall a good stay with basic amenities.

Limited parking space but we managed to find one nearby.

The room was small and basic but clean and comfortable although a recent previous occupant had clearly been smoking heavily in the room and it stunk. Fortunately the air conditioner worked well and was able to make things bearable. The hotel is close to a number of food vendors, a 5 minute walk to a convenience store and a laundromat and about a 10 minute walk to a large supermarket.

Nothing really apart from the stink of cigarette smoke which is hardly a reflection on the staff - it is a non smoking hotel. Wi-fi and phone reception was a bit patchy.

Great room for a person stay, basic facilities were available, the room was reasonable clean and staffs were polite all the time. Situated in a great location for someone who wanna enjoy Penang Street food and heritage site by walking distance.

Slight issue on the sound from the corridor whereby it is quite challenge to get a great sleep when might have heard people talking loudly.

The terrace and common area was a nice place to relax and the staff was helpful.

It's a fairly old hotel but I still enjoy my stay.
