As you'd expect with Marriott, top class. Great room, with proper reading lights, superb view down over Penang from the 16th floor, both the pool and gym were very good too. Breakfast was extra but well worth it.

Located about 2.3km from the street art which is the dominant tourist attraction in Penang at the moment (with good reason, it's excellent). I quite liked the stroll in though (once you get used to the lack of pedestrian crossings!) You can also jump into a Grab and be driven there for about RM 10. So the location was fine for me but might not suit everyone

Our room was large with ample space and being on the high floor had a beautiful sea view too. The new clean look was very well maintained and the comfort level of the bed was more than expected. The staff at the reception, room service and breakfast were all pleasant, The vast variety of the breakfast was really good, although it was the same for the 3 days of our stay.

The sound proofing of the room needs some attention. Every time a door was closed somewhere in the corridor, it felt like our room door was being opened and banged close. Some sofas in the lobby would be a good addition to increase the comfort level of the guests.

Hotel was well-presented and immaculately clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. The gym was great- small but had all the essentials and open 24h. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of tasty food.

The location is on a busy main road and not very scenic. The view was just loads of concrete towers- not exactly a tropical island paradise. But to be honest that’s more of a reflection of our dislike of Georgetown than the hotel itself.

The staff was very kind and helpful and we were made to feel welcome. The breakfast was nice and has both Asian and Western choices. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfortable. We chose this hotel for its quiet surroundings (road noise, mosque) and were not disappointed, however there is construction going on across the street, so make sure to ask for a quiet room if this might bother you.

The air-conditioning even on low setting was still quite loud, and we switched it off just prior to sleeping. However this is nitpicking and would highly recommend this hotel for a city stay.

Our stay here was good. Everyone was very helpful. There was a scheduled power outage on the day of checkout. We were informed that the lifts will be working but unfortunately it wasn't. Called the front desk and their staff WALKED UP 23 Floors just to assist us. Kudos to the team. Then just as we were leaving my car had a flat tire and guest what the manager Mr Puvan,the security guard and someone from maintainance help to replace my tire. I'm so grateful to everyone who helped. Thank you so much guys.

I appreciate how exceptionally clean the room is, and the variety of pillows available allows guests to choose according to their personal preference. The location is excellent, situated in the heart of Georgetown. The staff also provided excellent service when we requested extra pillows.

The breakfast should be regularly replenished to ensure items are always available and not left empty. The lobby is a bit small, which may give a somewhat unimpressive first impression.

Overall our stay was comfortable. The property is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. A lot of eateries near the hotel. The famous Tau Sau Piah Ghee Hiang was next to the property and Ban Heang Tau Sau Piah was minutes away. The buffet breakfast was good too.

We had connecting rooms. The king bedroom was good, but twin bedroom needs maintenance as the standing lamp was just the pole without bulb and cover. The bathroom door needs some oil as it was too heavy to slide open/close.

Room and housekeeping cleanliness can be better. For at least 2 days, the new towels were found with hair, dirt and stain. The wash basin is moving, not well fixed to the vanity top.

Very new, clean and modern. Friendly staff, eager to help. Rooms were large, big bathrooms with quality toiletries and a major plus of a very comfortable bed and a choice of pillows.

The fan from the aircon unit blew straight down on the bed. We tried to turn it down but the only options were 2-4. A first selection or off would have made all the difference. The Gin bar was nice but lacked ambiance.

Nice comfortable stay. For a family of 2adults and 2children the room was spacious enough. The front desk was very courteous and helpful. The room had a nice view of the bronze statue of Kek Long Si temple and the Penang hill. The plus for the location is that there is a 24 hour coin laundry in the same block (few steps away from the hotel) and a small but nice bakery for the morning breakfast. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the front desk lady who helped us to order for our dinner when we were getting late while on our way back from Cameron Highlands.

The housekeeping staff could have done a little better job by ensuring that the rooms get sweeped and mopped. However, overall it was nice and comfy stay.
