Niaz at concierge and housekeeping who cleaned the room on 14 April are great and helpful.

I ve requested for high floor but they give me a 2nd floor

Okay location (did get grab everywhere) but you can walk to main areas about 25 mins Laundry room downstairs to do yourself and cheap Staff friendly Clean Free water

Walls are paper thin, Can hear people in other rooms and in corridors even with ear plugs Were contacted by the property a few hours before our stay stating that because we hadn’t yet paid for our room (booked through booking.com non refundable and pay at property booking) it was not confirmed. If we arrived after 6pm we were at risk of our room being given away and they wanted us to pay via a link. We didn’t pay and contacted booking.com and it was fine in the end but an unnecessary stress

- very good location accessible to food stalls - bed n pillow feel comfortable - room is clean

- the water pressure of the shower is not strong - booked the room with a city view but what I got is the house's rooftop view 😅

Excellent location and comfortable stay . Board Games available at lounge with free coffee and drinks.

Very modern looking hotel with basic amenities. Bathroom spacious, and water pressure was awesome. Very clean and well maintained as well. Not sure about location as I only stayed for one day and used Grab.

No breakfast option and no nescafe in the room.

The room has big windows. Quite in the center of George Town, so quite close to everywhere.

The room is right next to the lift and it dings whenever someone uses it (either it dings in the same floor or maybe it was so loud that i could hear it), even on different floors

I had an incredible experience at this hotel! It truly exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, just a stone's throw away from all the must-see attractions. The staff were genuinely friendly and made me feel right at home. We stayed for three nights, and to my surprise, our hotel room was wonderfully spacious! It was definitely value for money. I can’t wait to rebook this hotel on my next visit to Penang!

Beautiful room, very helpful staff and not too far from restaurants and local food court. The selfservice washing- and drying machines were very welcoming after a week traveling

Summer Tree has always been my 1st choice for my Penang trip. Good location as it's walking distance to local food stalls & restaurants. Also, not too far to Komtar, city centre. Rooms are well equipped, clean & comfortable especially the room lightnings, pillows & bed. Keep up the excellent work, both the Hotel management and housekeeping team. Will return to Summer Tree, everytime and all the time!

Perhaps, the bathroom could be brighter and provide a rack at the shower area for the bath & shampoo bottles

Nice and clean room, polite staff and the lobby was spacious and had some vending machines (very cheap ones) as well as possibility to play some board games. Close to the hotel there is a street food corner where you can get cheap and good food every night!

Only negative thing about the property is that you can hear all the voices of other rooms and corridors, so if you sleep very light or need a quiet space to stay at, this is not for you! We had a neighbor with a baby who was quite noisy and cried a lot, so there were moments that it became little too much noise for our liking. Otherwise we really liked the hotel!!
