Everything. Would have given 9 or 10, if not for the noise from the AC.

The building has 5 floors. On each floor they have gatheret all the outside part of the AC's outside one room. And according to the staff, that is exactly outside the only twin bed room on each floor. They were not particulary eager to change our room. So don't order a twin bed room, unless you can sleep with noise.

New hotel, very clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Most review of hotels in heart of downtown had problem with outside noise/smell of food of nearby eatery etc so we chose Veno and was an excellent idea. No problem catching Grab (like Uber) at Penang Airport but in Georgetown 4days of stay and not once we could catch Grab. So we end up walking to all the places and nothing was too far. Afraid not able to get a Grab for our return flight, we reserved a car at the front desk(80MYR aprox USD17). Driver was at the hotel 10 min before arranged time. Breakfast was no problem, DimSum at Tangshan Cuisine starting 07:30, Bahn Mi at Bahn Mi Kitchen starting 09:00, just 2-5min walk form Veno with excellent food.

Very very very clean- watched them mop the floors in lobby, wipe down elevator switches Linen fresh Beds comfortable Air con strong Fresh cold water to refill bottles in lobby Bathroom had no mold You can trust this place is safe, power went out briefly at 1am and emergency backup lights turned on. Full fire safety system visible in lobby

Can be noisy with the usual lack of soundproofing in Malaysia Mosque can be heard early morning but not a big deal you will be so comfy in bed you'll be asleep in no time. Air con on top of bed can be strong when sleeping. All the above are so minor in comparison to how amazing this hotel is

Great location near all eateries. Good walking location to Art street and Komtar.

Thin wall. Can hear whatever drops from upstairs too. Can even hear next door talking and door opening. No tissue paper. The pillow is hard and flat.

The noise! It feels like this building was built without considering nosies at all. I think some guests started showering very early in the morning, and the water flowing down the pipe made such a loud noise that it woke me up. I could hear everything that was going on in the hallway. I could hear conversations in the room next to me. If noises in general bother you, then I recommend not staying at this hotel.

Soundproof not so good. Ever time stay sure got sounds of ppl pulling furniture, sometimes very early in the morning & midnight too.

The hotel is well-structured with good room and toilet layout. The toilet tiles are fast drying and doesn’t keep the toilet wet for long, which really is a perk. It’s near to everywhere by Grab which normally cost between 6-10RM. how much better can it get?! Water dispenser conveniently placed at the lobby, with 2 big sofas for guests waiting for Grab or check-in.

I'd say it may be because of luck so I actually got early check-in as the room was ready when I did the check-in ag counter. However, this has actually given me the good impression on this. The overall stay was excellent, the room was huge and clean, and the most importantly, the aircon was very cold!! Especially my Mother, she sweats very easily and for her this is already an A.

Everything was amazing, except this hotel doesn't have restaurant to have breakfast.

The service was excellent, the places is clean and easy to find, the price is also reasonable. They also provide a lot of shower supplies, like: Toothpaste Toothbrush, Shower Cap, Razor, Hair Dryer, Body Wash Shampoo. There is also an iron and ironing board, and indoor slippers, really caring.

I stayed in a triple suite, but the supplies provided were only for two people. That's it, everything else is fine.
