Staff at Smile Hotel are very friendly and informative. The place was easy to find and is located walking distance from the infamous New Lane hawker stalls (8 minutes walk) and also Ghee Hiang pastry shop (5 minutes walk). The three person room is not as spacious as expected but is good enough if you are looking for a decent place for a short stay.

Sound proofing for the place could be further improved, as you can hear people talking in their room as you walk down the corridor. Despite being on a non-smoking floor (we were staying at Level 3), someone was clearly lighting one up.

I like that this hotel is maintained very cleanly where they provide new bedsheets and pillowcases every day. They have also clean towels provided with toiletries except for a toothbrush, which you can purchase at the reception but I would expect it to be provided. The location was great, within walking distance to lots of great eateries and quieter.

The TV in my room was not working and they couldn't figure out the reason, I was given the option to change my room but the hotel was fully booked (they said) so other people might get this room with a broken TV so I might as well just stay there since we'll be there for a night. The toothbrush was not provided for us as well which was a bit disappointing. Room was not spacious, a bit crowded for 3 people.

Very good accomodation. Booked for a family room that suit for 3 of us. The owner very nice, helpfull and welcoming us. Hotel was so clean. There was a free car parking. Strategic location. Near local attraction. Safety 100% with family. Reasonable price. Thank you.

The staff was wonderful .My room was cleaned and restocked daily,Good air con ,wi-fi, secure and quiet .Bus stops a for routes 101 and 103 are located at each end of the street.

I wish there was a refrigerator and English Channels on the television .

The most i like is the toilet. Big and clean. The staff is nice. Parking not the issue-the staff will help you.
