Nice minimalist rooms with comfy beds. Whole building is very clean and stylish also. Lovely cafe in the foyer and kind staff too. Really nice place to stay. Great location too, loads of cafes and bars along the road, and lots of sights nearby. Loved the record player in the lounge area too! Basically a perfect stay.

Maybe could be a bit quiet if you're a solo traveller looking to socialize, but perfect for couples, groups, or people looking for some peace and quiet.

The location is great for sightseeing in Georgetown and walking around. Great cafes and food nearby. Also near bus lines and ferry terminal. The building is an old shop house and the renovation is cool. The bathrooms are also pretty clean for shared facilities

We stayed in three rooms - two privates with no bath, and one private with its own bath. The private with its own bath was immediately next to the common bathroom and we could hear noises from the bathroom all night. The other privates are on the top floor which does not have a bathroom. The room facing the street was very loud.

Location is right in the heart of Georgetown, notably Little India and it is possible to walk from the Ferry terminal after getting off the ferry boat from Butterworth station. Overall the whole place is very stylist, cool industrial decor, has a kitchen area for kettle, fridge & microwave but without a sink. Access to free drinking water from the filter tap from the café worktop. Lots of communal areas including TV room where you can eat and drink food bought from outside.

The female dorm although only 4 beds didn't have privacy curtain, and the shared bathroom felt a bit too public with men using them too but at least the toilet and shower rooms are separate.

The staff are all really friendly and helpful, give you a tour of the hostel, and explain all the rules. There are some really nice chill out areas, it's a pretty big hostel with a couple of different floors. Plenty of toilets, showers, and facilities. The WiFi works great, and in the dorms you get a locker each plus a towel and blanket. Fans and AC in the dorm room too. Each bed has a plug socket (Malaysia uses British plugs, same as Singapore), a small shelf, and a lamp.

Not the fault of the hostel, but as is custom with the Muslim culture, there's a mosque/masjid across the road, which announces the prayer times and says a prayer for a few minutes. This wouldn't be bad by itself, but when it's at 5am and insanely loud, it certainly woke me up and kept me awake, especially since the following prayer was at 6/7am too. Also in the dorm, the noise from the people staying in the room above was very loud, squeaky floor boards, etc.

We extended a few times and we enjoyed the location.

Sometimes the staff were a bit cold.. There was an incident during our stay when the staff had let in someone from.the outside who was not a guest. The stranger then hid in toilets and tried to get into rooms. This was brought to the staff attention and ao hopefully won't happen again

Good facilities- from the beds, showers, and overall design of the place. The café is the reason I chose this place since I had to work in the mornings and they delivered in having a hospitable place to work in

Mosquitoes run amok in the showers. You can get bitten in under 10 seconds. I couldn't sleep at all my first night since I was in the room facing the street. Floorboards creak everywhere so not ideal for light sleepers. Most of all, this place functions as a 'guesthouse' and not so much as a hostel. There is almost no social aspect to it and people keep among themselves but there is still a chance to meet a few folks here and there.

Most of the places we planned to visit were within walking distance. Really liked the modern design and the relaxed atmosphere in every corner of the hostel. The facilities were complete, and the hand soap and shower gel provided smelled good. We enjoyed staying inside the capsule. The comfortable interior design allowed us to enjoy some personal "me-time."

We stayed in a capsule mixed box, and the boxes on the lower floor felt stuffy and hot. On rainy nights, it felt especially lacking in ventilation. Perhaps adding another air conditioner or improving the ventilation system would help.

This is an excellent location close to everything and right outside are bus stops for easy access to many attractions. The beds were comfortable. Good shower pressure Friendly staff. They provide ear plugs

My biggest complaint impacts any hotel in the area. They provide earplugs but the area can get very noisy If you have noise cancelling headphones it may be worth bringing.

Very close from some attractions in Penang, 10min walk from Armenian St. We could leave our luggage before check-in time with no problems, and there was a very cosy café in the hostel as well. Very pleasant place to stay.

The walls were quite thin and at some point someone was showering using the hair dryer in the middle of the night... I could hear everything from my room and it was pretty annoying. The hostel does have quiet times but maybe this should be better stated.
