Quirky room to maximise space, bathroom was clean. Had basic amenities for a short stay, housekeeping checked in with us frequently regarding clean towels etc. Common areas were available to relax and these were well kept. The air conditioning worked fabulously in our room - which was much appreciated given the hot temperatures!!

Wouldn’t have appreciated a small fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. Although hot water was available from the water dispenser a kettle in the room would have been more convenient rather than walking to a different level for hot water. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very strong whilst in the room but did work in lower floors of the property.

Our second stay here: good value for money in George Town (laundry, water dispenser, private bathroom, AC, great location). Our room was better than the first one (more standing and storage space). We used the common areas quite a lot to get some work done, the staff was kind enough to turn on AC units for us.

Rooms get stuffy since there are no windows, the common areas are not the most inviting, the hotel looks like it peaked a few years ago and is now semi-abandoned. (We knew this and still came back on our second trip to George Town, so nothing unexpected.)

This property is strategically located at the heart of Georgetown. For once in my whole entire life, i walked under the scorching heat of Penang to the famous eateries located in the island. Like literally you can save your gas oil by just walking. In average most of the places can be reached by 10-20 mins of walking! Bonus- you can actually beat the traffic! And you don’t have to worry about security. I never felt so safe! And oh its PET- FRIENDLY!!

I was hoping that there would be a live-band performing back in this place soon!

Pros: 1.Quirky hotel, with art and pictures on the walls, good stuff. 2. Gold museum and caffee in the same place :) 3. Had an outdoor gym 4. Free laundry self-service and water dispenser 5. Good breakfast 6. Extremely good customer service from the reception staff. 7. Strategic location as it it within walking distance of all major interest points (Armenian Street, the Jetties, street Art, food courts, etc. Cons: 1. Room and bathroom feel a bit small, especially if you are 6.4 foot

I love my room. Simply perfect. No window but quite comfy. Sometimes that's what i need. I love they offer free laundry, free flow hot water and cold. Location is perfect, many places to hang out in the hotel only less facilities like gam board, dvd or something like home entertainment, they have little gym,.. Just love to stay here.

Many places to hang out but no couches enough to be lazy on with friends like in family room. and would be better to have some game board or TV so the guests can hang out all together. Free instant coffee and tea would be great. I know you have cafe downstairs but an eve tea or early morning before the cafe open would be nice. But it is just suggestion. Something that a little missing on this place

My second time here. Good location - it's a quick walk to anywhere in the heritage zone. Check-in and check-out is a breeze. There are plenty of common areas and even free laundry facilities. The room is small but comfortable. I got the windowless room this time around but I'd like to try the studios one day.

It would be better for the hotel to constantly turn on the exhaust fan for windowless rooms. This wasn't too much of an issue once I entered and turned the exhaust on, but it took awhile for the damp smell to go away.

I love the little gym, even though the equipment is quite old, you can still do a decent workout in open air. The room was very comfortable, no window, but you can sleep like a baby without the noise and the lights from the street. I booked a room with shared bathroom, but got one with a private one which was really nice, bonus points. The whole concept of the hotel with the museum and the bar is really cool, even though the bar wasn't open which was a shame. There are nice common areas both inside and on the terraces and free laundry facilities. Easy to get to anywhere from the hostel. I definitely recommend it.

Conveniently located near popular tourist spots, bars, and food stalls, making it an ideal choice for travelers. The ambience, cleanliness, and service were all impressive, and to top it off, it’s pet-friendly too!

The experience would be greatly improved with better sound insulation. Unfortunately, we were startled awake in the middle of the night by teenagers shouting on the roadside, and it took about 30 minutes before the noise subsided. Enhanced soundproofing would make a big difference in ensuring a more restful stay.

The room and common space are super nice with a great artistic vibe. Great location walking distance for most of the shops and restaurants. Pet friendly place so we took with is our 1 months old kitten.

The property has a lot of potential, the restaurant side looks not very well look after, maybe not very focused on fnb side. The bar upstairs looks amazing but no longer utilized that is a shame.

I like everything about this property! ❤️ Amazing service, clean and neat room, it's not so huge but spacious enough that you can have a full body workout on it's floor 😆💕 Even tho the receptionist doesn't stay 24/7, it's because they have another job to take care of the cafes inside this property too! So, if you didn't find anyone at the receptionist table, kindly ask the person at their cafe cause it's the same person on duty. I forgot to ask the name of the receptionist but i really found it helpful, he is an indian man who is kind hearted, hardworking and funny ^^ You can also do your laundry here and get a free refilled mineral water ! Really amazing ✨✨ Location? Oh don't hesitate to book cause it's so strategic, you can walk 5 mins to the most famous restaurant and food truck in Penang! It's also a combination of cafe, bar and museum. But unfortunately the bar and museum didn't continued to operate :( but overall this is a unique place and you can take a look on so many historical things ✨ Oh it's also located in George Town, the heritage area of Penang ! We came here to had our routine medical check up at Penang. It's so easy for us to go to the Hospital cause it's not too far. Will be back to stay here when we need to do our check up next forward! My partner and I really like our stay here. It's not noisy, clean, and comfy! Oh yeaa the bed and their bedcovers are really warm and soft, so we have an amazing rest here! It's 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 service with a 💸 money ! Worth staying !! ❤️❤️

I don't like that i have to leave Penang too soon 😫💕 cause our stay here is incredible!
