Nice atmosphere, close to interesting Highlights

Noisy bar with live music close by, 11pm-1.30am Wed-Sun music from outside and normal windows = no sound isolation in the room

A quaint heritage hotel that’s positioned well in the center of Geroge Town. I was able to visit all sites in the Heritage City by foot within 5-10 minutes. I also like the room details and how the areas are kept tidy.

- Breakfast is reallly a let down. I hope they’re able to offer Room Only rates as breakfast is skippable. Nothing special and is the same every day. So be mindful if you plan to stay for long. - The bed is too firm for my liking. - Minimal soundproofing in rooms. I can hear the clanging of cutleries of the breakfast goers despite being on the second floor.

Lovely hotel - the room was spacious with a closet, desk and a couple of chairs. Very clean and comfortable. Great shower! The staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the historic building. Great location for walking around Penang. Massage place across the street was also good.

The breakfast wasn't much - fruit would be a great addition. I would suggest reserving without breakfast as there are many cafe's near by offering very nice breakfasts.

The location is superb with popular eateries nearby. It's a quaint little hotel. The bed is firm and it's very clean and well kept. There's a really nice little souvenir shop next door too.

It can get noisy occasionally esp for rooms facing the road but overall not too bad as it's not too busy a road. Breakfast is a waste of time. They should do away with breakfast and charge less for room since there are so many eateries within walking distance.

It was located near a lot of the places that we wanted to visit. Very convenient place to base ourselves to explore Penang. We loved the air-well that was the centre of the building with its tiled mosiac pieces.

The only thing we had trouble with were the stairs as our knees are not well. Especially when we had to carry our luggage up and down when checking in and out. Other than this, we had a lovely time there.

This is where you want to stay in Penang; the kind of boutique hotel that is a part of the history and culture of George Town. A great spot to start walking from with lots of great food options around but still quiet enough for a good night’s sleep.

Breakfast starting at 8am was too late for me. Also I could not do my early morning runs because the door was still locked at 5am.

Beautiful and cosy boutique hotel. Room was comfortable and air conditioning was great after a hot day out. Loved staying in a traditional peranakan style home and the breakfast was good. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is walking distance to many places and right across, there is a very good Borneo Massage and foot reflexology place.

Nothing to dislike.

The room was big, clean and very comfortable The soundproofing is excellent, we booked the suite in front of the reception but we don’t hear anything. Very quiet hotel despite being in the center of George Town. The receptionists were nice and welcoming.

I think they can improve the breakfast. Stayed jn cheaper hotels same area and got better breakfast.

The Peranakan decoration is what attract us to the hotel. Very cosy. Room is of generous size. There are 2 racks for luggage. More than 2 chairs for resting. Best is the water pressure. We enjoy our bath very much much. This hotel is also in close proximity to every where.

Breakfast variety is very very limited.

The rooms were clean. The staff was extremely helpful. The environment is great, it has a homely feel. The location is awesome for Georgetown visitors. Lots of cafes nearby.
