1. Location - Walking distance to popular food outlets, heritage streets, mall. 2. Apartment is big and comfortable. 3. Quiet at night. No noisy bars/clubs nearby. 4. Staff are friendly and provide good service. 5. Entrance to apartment is at street level. Easy to access by keying in code. No inconvenience of having to share access cards amongst family members.

1. Missing items in room when we arrived: iron (even though there was an ironing board), bedroom slippers, bath mat, soap at bathroom sink. I requested for them and they were delivered in a short while. 2. Towels and bath mat are a little worn out. Could do with refreshing. 3. Couldn't control aircond temperature in individual rooms. 4. Apartments are on the first floor. Have to climb a long staircase. Could be challenging if you're carrying very heavy stuff.

Location is just a short walk to numerous famous food outlets, room and bathroom are clean, prompt cleaning service, and attentive service at reception as well as via whatsapp.

Towels provided are clean though a bit tired and worn. The mini kitchenette is functional though would appreciate a small cutting board for fruits. Staircase up to unit can be dangerous for small children or seniors especially the spiral turn just before the top. Be careful and hold the railings. Can be noisy for the master room if loud-talking crowd walk-by below. Nearby mosque morning call is audible but not an issue as we're used to it.

King sized bed, very spacious rooms, lots of cabinets  - has a little living room.  - has kitchen sink, microwave, fridge, cutleries, dish washer makes it convenient - Customer service was always very prompt. Maintenance people also come asap.

Long staircase up the unit. Because it's a heritage house morning prayers in the mosque nearby wakes people up at 5am although only like 1-5min. One of the bedroom was facing the mosque so it was super loud. TV was not a smart TV  It's nonetheless an old house. Not the best maintained. Door and toilet cabinet laminates peeling off and has mould on the grouts, floor boards are creaky and has small gaps probably because it's an old heritage house.

It was almost perfect! So surprised that a row of shoplots could be turned into such a nice hotel/apartment. The stairs going up to our unit reminds me of those London apartments LOL. Our unit was huge, the aircond was cold, got hot water in toilet, bedding was very comfortable.

- The door of our shower couldn’t close so water kept splashing out onto the sink floor. - Wish there were more mirrors. It was hard for 3 girls to get ready with 1 small table mirror & 1 toilet mirror. - Parking during the day could be a hassle as it is roadside parking (side parking) but quite empty during night time.

We had a great stay at Ropewalk Piazza Hotel! The service from the staff was exceptional – they were very responsive and accommodating throughout our visit. Kudos to the team for their excellent hospitality. While the room showed some signs of age, it was well-maintained and clean, which we appreciated. The location is absolutely perfect, with malls just across the street, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Overall, everything was good, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you for making our visit comfortable and pleasant!

The towels need to be replaced as they seem worn out. Vacuuming is necessary during room service.

The space: two bedrooms and living area with kitchinette, was big enough, well equipped with amenities and comfortable, beds was also good, clean and comfortable. The location was great. And staff was very friendly and helpful.

The property was't clean enough. There were spots in bathroom and living room just dirty or dusty. The furnitures were modern and elegant for the first look but made from cheap materials and already used or even destroyed (especially in bathroom). But overall we liked staying at the Hotel, it needs only a little improvement to be perfect.

1. The excellent and professional services by the staff were just incredibly amazing. They were friendly, very helpful, kind, patient, and interacted very well to meet all our needs. The wonderful staffs who attended my family with care were, Mr Selva Kumar, Mr Seyviar and Ms Tharani and Mr Irfan. They were prompt and very responsive via what's app. Great service 👏 👍 👌. 2. The apartment was perfect my family of 4. My boys had a comfortable stay and the experience was a rich and memorable one. The place was clean and room service was good. Bottles of water and toiletries were all provided. 3. The location is great as it has nearby eatries, attractive landmarks and most areas are easily accessible (walk / grab). Overall, it was a great and pleasant experience at Ropewalk Piazza Hotel.

1. It can be a little noisy at times in the night and early morning, but it's not a problem as it was not too loud and it did not spoil my sleep. The noise was not for long. 2. One of the towels came dirty but they changed once told with clean ones. Thus, not a big issue.

The hotel is located in the middle of Georgetown thus it's quite near to other tourist places. The rooms also very clean and my mother in law likes it very much. I am also very thankful that we are able to check in early so my parents can rest comfortably in the room. The receptionist is also very helpful and polite. If you are not that particular about the parking, this hotel is the best hotel to stay.

The hotel does not provide parking though you have the option to park in front of the hotel and pay to the Majlis Perbandaran via apps. Unfortunately, the apps was down during our time there and we're unable to pay for our parking and we got worried that our car might get towed. Thankfully we met a kind Penangites and he paid for us. We also managed to call customer service and register for the app to pay for the parking. Also, the aircond is centralised and it's a bit difficult as we are travelling with senior citizen and their preferred temperature is different from us. And please note that they do not have lifts to go up to their room, only stairs though it's bearable for my 70+ year-old parents.

Ease of communication with staff. Kudos to Amirul and Akmal! They tried their best to accomodate an early check in and were proactive in reaching out via whatsapp to communicate check in, check out arrangements plus prompt in responding to a request for a top up of bottled water. Also helped hold luggage post check out, as flight was in the late evening. Ultimately, being clear (but reasonable!) with requests ahead of time was a win win situation 😀 Location was a plus too - across the road from 2 malls (Pranjin and 1st Avenue) and less than 90 metres to the nearest eatery, plus night market/street food was just beyond. The hotel is within walking distance (a slow stroll!) to most spots of interest, if one has time to explore on foot or a quick Grab as an alternative! A comfortable base for an exploration of Penang, suitable for a friends or family of 5 in a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit. Loved it and hope to be back again!

Location is near to all the food on offer & near to everything, Excellent location. The air conditioning unit we stayed in was very cool ( a necessity for hot Penang weather), it is very clean, it has a small kitchenette + fridge

The bathroom is very clean , however sealant at the bathroom shower needed replacing, making it looked tattered. A small thing, but impacting the look. Also needs a mirror even a small ones in the main bedroom for the ladies to do our make up & dry our hair ( bathroom have no power point for hairdryer)
