Amazing location, friendly staff and good value.

Some nights were incredibly noisy. Guests seem to have no consideration for those trying to sleep. Some nights the shouting and yelling would go on until 2 or 3 in the morning. The walls between rooms seem to be paper thin and the hotel doesn’t appear to have any restrictions placed on guests who want to create noise at any hour. This was not just an isolated group. We stayed 3 weeks and most nights, one or more rooms were rowdy. Everything else about the hotel was good but this issue would be a deal breaker for us in future.

Had a delightful stay here! Great location in the historic area of Georgetown (and easy to pin-drop this location for Grab drop offs/pick ups) with small convenience store for snacks and drinks. Lovely open reception area (with historic rickshaw on display) with very friendly front-of-house staff - I was able to store my bags while I wandered around before my room was ready. Late check out at 12pm was very generous! Free wifi, excellent air conditioning in the room (and greatly appreciated with the heat and humidity). Window views to the city - not particularly noisy. Room was generous sized including large wardrobe as well as study desk and mini bar fridge (to store cool drinks!). Lovely full size mirror was a bonus! Shower was very large and great water stream. A pity that I was only here for one night, but I would definitely stay here again!

Provided one container of multipurpose wash + conditioner - would have been nice to have had soap/handwash for the handwashing basin as well as one for the shower. (But this is very trivial!)

The breakfast was good, simple and Nice

Well, there is one thing, my wife brought a personal body powder and body odour was missing,, when staff cleaning my room on 2nd day. At my bathroom. So give a briefing to the staff very morning not to take guests belongings

Clean, spacious, the old-style design that I like. Good location too, walking distance to many cafes and restaurants.

The reception could have told me the difference of the two similar looking cards, one was access card, the other not. I only found out when I got myself locked outside the room, and I was rushing back for my room toilet. Seems like a trivial thing, but I almost pee in my pants, taking that super slow lift to go to the reception, and was told to wait outside my room for someone to come and open the door. Without a choice, I went up the slow lift, and waited...

Close to shops and restaurants and lots of street art around. Large room with a lovely shower.

No safety deposit box although stated there would be.. also the walls are so thin that you can hear everything happening in the hotel. Nothing the hotel can do about it’s location but due to where it is there is a mosque very close by and we was woken every morning about 5 for a 35-45 minute long prayer out of a speaker. So it is very loud and disturbs your sleep.

The room was nice with authentic local touch, spacious and clean. Location is the greatest, walking distance to many touristic spots, many eateries too. parking was limited, but adequate.

Not quite cheap compare to surrounding boutique hotels, it gets busy on the road outside.

The hotel staff were customer oriented. Very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and requests are attended to promptly. The hotel is located in the centre of tourist attractions sites and eateries. There is a wide range of food to eat from Chinese, Indian, Malay and Western. Cafes are there for you to relax. I would recommend this hotel if you were to visit Penang for your holiday and relaxation. Kudos to the staff of Armenian Heritage Hotel.

I cannot think of any. The good service and facilities of the hotel takes the lead to comment on any dislikes for the hotel. The good things of the hotel outnumbers the negative comments.

Location is the main positive here, in George town and central to main areas to visit. Easy to get to via transport. Staff are lovely and provide room essentials and cold towels at the desk. Mini market as part of the building if you need anything. Room and bathroom were a good size and bed was comfortable. Roof top access breakfast/restaurant views are lovely.

Had some personal work I wanted to do on the roof top but was booked out by a group so was not allowed, shame given our short stay, would have been nice to enjoy it while doing something productive.

the room was spacious and clean, good shower and a/c; all necessary toiletries available by the reception (no need to ask). Withing walking distance to everything in the old town.

the TV had only few channels and poor signal in half of them; the safe in the room was old, small and not attached to anything!

Staff can be better informed about rates of transport ! They told me grab won’t be avlbl and it would cost me 90 Myr to get to the airport at 0600 hrs however I got a grab and made it within 25 MYR … can’t blame the desk but they could be more informed instead of suggesting the most expensive way out ! All good otherwise
