B Street hotel is strategically located at the heart of Georgetown. Very easy to get around to anywhere in the area - most are walking distance. close to cafes/restaurants/food stalls. Easy to find by Grab drivers as well. The room wasn't big, but enough our family of 3 - I book the hotel because it has a room with 2 full beds, in addition to the en suite shower and hot water.

Bathroom/toilet maintenance could be better - our bidet was leaking the whole time we were there. It was no issue for us personally, but the hotel owner was losing liters of water everyday because of the leak.

Great location, walking distance to jetties, art district, mall, and lots of food choices. Luggage storage, water in lobby.

Elevator broken and had been for a while. Someone carried my bags up for me though good because I am disabled. Towels leave a layer of fuzz all over you. Hard bed and poor pillows. Tricky getting to toilet in room because it's behind the door which can't fully open. Almost fell because of the lip in the shower you have to walk through to get to it. Annoying. Something I read said rooftop deck but is only for employees now.

Room was clean and tidy and bed was comfortable. The hotel was well located for the Georgetown attractions such as the street art, hawker food, and the clan jetties.

There is a nightclub opposite which whilst not in the hotel’s control, does mean that loud music and loud people can be heard until 3am on some nights. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night and only heard the music on the Saturday. There were also screaming children in the hallways until gone midnight, despite signs requesting quiet.

The afternoon receptionist, Ameisa, was terrible. She was more concerned about watching her phone than helping the clients. I asked her for the laundry place that they recommended phone's number and she provided the wrong info. I told her and she did not do anything to correct it. Again, she was busy watching her phone. Her actitud both times I encountered her and asked something was like do not brother me, Im busy watching my phone.

Well where do I start when I arrived on 15th May 2024 there was this beautiful happy smiling face Man called Kesh who had so much time for me to give me information I needed for my stay of three days. The lift is excellent because some hotels don’t have them. The rooms are beautiful with hair dryer, safe and beautiful soaps and shampoo, showers are amazing. I stayed in three different rooms and one with a window little more expensive, lovely view of the street. Great coffee facilities. Nothing is a problem for cleaning staff to reception and spotless as soon as you enter from the street. I had a really bad problem when I arrived all my flights had been cancelled back to Australia because I was late for my flight from Kota Kinabalu to Langkawi so I was stressed because I couldn’t pay for new flights with travel agents in Australia because I was using Malay Sim and when I went to pay with credit card it would not work. Plus I was going to travel agent in Penang Island to book a ticket for flight back to Langkawi because I can’t do online because I am old and technology and I don’t get on. My beautiful reception girls Iduyu and Camelyn helped me for an hour or more to help me solve all my problems. Nothing was a problem to them all they wanted was to persist in taking away my problems that had been worrying me for three days previous to arriving at this beautiful Hotel.

I couldn’t stay longer plus Staff are AMAZING and I think the boss would not have rooms full every night if it wasn’t for his absolutely beautiful welcoming staff. Who will help you until your problem is resolved. I have flown back to Langkawi and have my flights home to Australia all thanks to Iduyu and Camelyn. Also I didn’t know where post office was so Kesh is posting my postcard for me. Spoke to other travelers staying at B Street and they loved the place and staff as well. The location is perfect and so near the interesting places. It's comfortable and worth the value. I came back because I had a really great stay last year.

The staff last year explained the facilities better than this time. We received worn out towels, and the housekeeping missed cleaning our room on our 3rd day and we waited hours and had to complain to reception before they came to clean.

Small but clean room with comfortable bed. Good location and ok wifi, AC. Good enough for 1 person for max 1-3 nights but nothing extra really - I would say it could be a bit cheaper.

The room was really small - good for 1 backpacker but 2 people would fit in just for a short stay. I would expect the staff at the reception to be more welcoming and customer-oriented. So I had no good first impression. More smiles would be appreciated (especially ladies at the reception). However, It's not a bad option to stay.

Location was good, close to Lebuh Armenian area. Staff friendly and personable. Price was right. Suitable as a place to shower and sleep but not hang out in.

Room is utterly tiny and the bed hard as a rock. Shower curtain does nothing to prevent water getting all over the bathroom floor. There's a nightclub opposite that goes till late, so a bit of doof-doof can be heard.

Perfect location for the historic parts of Georgetown. We found the places we wanted to eat at scattered a bit so we had to take a Grab as it was insanely hot. All UK plugs so note you'll need an adaptor. The room was clean, very cool and with anlarge window (no balcony) Batu Ferringhi is a 26 min Grab away. The night markets seemed very small and not what we were expecting
