Appreciate the washing and drying machine, super useful for long trips. The 3 bedroom apartment is very spacious and well decorated. Appreciate the large dining area, convenient for snack time for our family. Location is quite central

Very slow check in and I needed to use international call to call the reception for somebody to come to do the check in. No intercom whatsoever. Waited like 10 min in the burning heat with all our luggage on the street. Luggage storage is only possible in a hotel 3 min walk from this apartment. The stairs is very troublesome for us as we have plenty of luggage, but it’s unavoidable for the short buildings in the city centre. As the hotel was built at a big road junction, the road noise is super loud, so it takes some time to fall asleep. The reception gives a WhatsApp number to contact them after check in but takes forever to reply

The location is wonderful, supermarket and restaurants are just 2mins walk.

we need to make a phone call to call the staff come for check-in because there is no reception,for those who don't have a malaysia's sim card please make sure you can make a local call or just get already to pay for the Roaming Calling. But there are a whatsapp number shown inside the room for you to contact them incase you needed , maybe just put the whatsapp number outside as well so the guest can contact the staff more easily when they want to check-in.

Very spacious, clean, suitable for family with great facilities ie: tv, kitchen, kitchen utensils, filtered water, washing machine & dryer, 2 double bed & 1 king bed

Just that the hotel have no parking area & that no nearby parking area. If you have small kids and luggage with you quite troublesome. Need to cross the simpang 5 traffic light to get to the nearest parking area beside the masjid jamek (rm50 plus if entered at 9pm till check out time haha).

I don't remember how many times I've been coming back to this hotel and other PHC hotels for years. Because of their location, comfy room interior design and well equipped room facilities. Their hotel is like a comfortable home. But this time around, I'm a little disappointed with the housekeeping services. No one has long hair in my family. But every time i came back after they cleaned my room, I realised there was a lot of long hair on the floor around the room. I assumed, they mopped the room without rinsing it well from the previous room. When I stay in a hotel, cleanliness is important. Because the hotel is a place people come and go. To keep it clean every time for the guests, should be a priority. Will I ever come back to Magazine Vista? Definately. I love this place. My family loves it here.

The hotel was literally diagonally across KOMTAR. Strategic place as many eateries were within walking distance. The entire floor was huge and the necessary amenities were provided including detergent for clothes and dishes. The initial fear was noises from the main street was not as bad as expected. Where I lived is way worse. Everything was clean and the living area is a nice hangout place for the entire family to gather around watching TV while enjoying each others company. The staff who came to clean was polite and courteous. Advice to whatsapp the property ahead of time as the centralised PHC hotel lobby was not opened on the day we arrived. Luckily they were prompt to answer the message and helpful to arrange a staff to guide us to keep the luggage while roam around Georgetown first waiting for check-in. The check-in process was done in the room itself and the staff was a jolly fellow. Everything was brought in his backpack and he brought us around introducing the rooms and the amenities. A nice hotel to go to for those with larger families as the staff did mentioned the room we paid for can house up to 10 people.

No on location parking. May be tad a bit noisy for those light sleepers.

Location was close by to quite a few food options. All main tourist attractions were at most a 10-15 minute cab ride away. Rooms were spacious and overall apartment was kept clean.

Since the hotel is a shop house, there was no proper pick-up and drop-off point which made it a bit challenging to wave down the e-hailing car sometimes. Not very suitable for senior citizens who have walking disabilities as there is a semi-steep flight of stairs up into the apartment.

Great location, with walking distance to almost all nice eateries nearby. The rooms are clean and well maintained too.

The sound proofing was a bit of the let down, as the rooms are right next to the main road. Hence, we were easily waken up by those drivers who raced up their vehicle engines when they pass by.

The location of the hotel is very convenient as it is opposite one of the most famous attraction, The Top Penang, which is also one of the tallest building in Penang. Staffs are friendly. The hotel is very spacious and super cosy.

Needs maintenance. Check in was very chaotic and took forever. Didn’t communicate at all. Asked upfront our arrival time but when we arrived (2pm) room wasn’t ready and couldn’t give us a time. Went for a lunch and around 4pm we had access to the apartment. A bit of a waist.

Spacious for a group of 5 person for a comfortable stay. The location is conveniently located to most places in Georgetown. Walking distance to New Lane Street Foodstalls.

Although overall cleanliness is acceptable, may improve on the cleanliness of cover for bed, pillow and comforter. Some of the towels look worn out.
