Very near to the place around. Good water pressure. Wifi is so-so. Staffs are helpful. Room is clean and spacious for the unit we chose.

Air condition is not enough to cover the spacious room. We had to use extra fan individually to get cool air to circulate. Even its very hot in the foyer where the lobby is. The iron was not working properly, the foyer where the ironing took place was very hot, even the reception was using stand fan. I advise bring your own iron. I chose the hotel due to criteria of having private parking. We are aware of penang’s street parking is difficult. Dont be suprised, if u have to double or triple park your car in their small parking lot. And in the very early morning, u will be called to move your car because another person wants to move their car 😅

hotel room are more than 100 but car park are only 7 bay....pls improve your car parking area...if no car park than where need to park our car??????????????

I had a very joyus stay there. 1) staffs very friendly and helpfull 2) strategic location - have restaurant named Kopitiam 7 Pagi 3) have specific parking space for guests (limited but still can double park) 4) clean, and comfy 5) have warm water for shower.

1)Need to go to the lobby to use iron. not so convenience for some people. 2) Drinking water from water despenser a bit smelly.

Excellent location. Was able to do major walking around the old town. Near main bus depot which was hub for most bus routes. Buses ran very frequently and low cost when needed.

Hotel was older than expected..Quiet room faced the rear not the street. Room was basic with no refigerator.

Nearby local food walk distance, no need drive. Nice place, helpful staff, book through booking.com mistake double booking, staff was informed me. Left charger in room, staff help to keep it and pos back to me. Staff well train & willing to help. Will recommend friend to stay & will come back again.

The shower seems to have some slight problems. When switching on, both the top shower and shower head at the same time come out the water. Other than that, the TV channel also no line causing unable to watch certain channels.

The location is superb. Good eating places nearby. The room is spacious. Value for money. The staff was helpful.

Parking is a bit cramped. My car was scratched. Parking first come first serve basis. Can't go out with your car at night. TV was not good. You have to literally stand at the sensor to operate the remote.

Location is good. Near to Nasi kandar Deen Maju restaurant, 7eleven, Komtar, Sup Hameed restaurant & Gama store. House keeping services also good, they clean up the room everyday unless we put do not disturb door sign. Air-cond just nice,not too cold.

The WiFi connection are slow and unstable. The button for getting shower gel/shampoo was too hard to get. Better to use our own. No laundry service provided, but there's laundry shop near the hotel. The iron seems old and need to change to new one, it's easily getting hot and might burn the cloth. Can't move the hanger to different area, better to have your own hanger.

Overall, though, the Super 8 Hotel in Georgetown Penang is a good choice for travelers. The staff was friendly, the location was convenient.

One of the issues was with the bedsheet in my room. I noticed some dark spots on it that looked like they may have been from burning. While this didn't impact my sleep or comfort, it did give me some concern about the cleanliness of the room. Another issue was with the yellow stains on the sink in the bathroom. While I understand that hotels can have a lot of guests and it's difficult to keep everything spotless, I think this is an area that could be improved. If the stains could be covered up, it would have made a big difference.
