The hotel is basically a series of self-contained units, each with its own entrance. We were upgraded to a 2 bed unit, which was great because the front of the unit faced a very busy road and we were able to sleep in the back room which was a lot quieter. The unit was spacious, it had a washer/dryer combo machine, it had 2 TVs, it had an induction cooktop and a full sized fridge. The location was fine, close to Pasar Lebuh Cecil (hawker centre on Cecil, excellent for breakfast), walking distance to local shopping malls. It was easy to arrive and leave by Grab (the local Uber equivalent, be sure to download the app and set it up), but just need to walk a few metres as the driver might not be able to safely stop right outside the hotel (busy road). Overall it was a comfortable stay.

The hotel should investigate better soundproofing for these units. If people walked past the front door chatting, we could hear exactly what they were saying. If we did not receive the room upgrade, we would have slept in a front room facing the busy road and we would definitely need earplugs. A clothes airer with coathangers and pegs would be a useful addition to the room.

the bathroom floor tiles at basin & wc area is glossy type like the wall tile hence its slippery & dangerous. i almost slipped!. hope the owner can change like the one at shower area before someone get hurt or injured

We were a family of five and enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and staff very friendly. Communication prompt. We could walk to all downtown attractions and the bus terminal for local busses was all only a short walk away. The bedrooms were quiet enough to sleep well..but you do hear the street a little. It's a busy town, so I didn't expect anything else.

Sincel we were five, one of us slept on the pullout sofa bed, which was super comfy. Only the lights on the stairs don't turn off, so that person needs an eye mask if light is an issue for sleeping. :-)

It looks antique outside but very modern and comfy inside. The whole suite is spacious with one king size bed in 1 bedroom and queen size in the other. The building is naturally cold too, just like typical old building. It's clean and has many amenities just like an apartment does. Staffs are friendly and helpful, they confirm our arrival time beforehand so we don't have to wait for check-in; self check-out is easy too. Great location, of a walking distance to Lebuh Cecil Market, some famous restaurants, and grocery shop (Village Grocer at 1st Avenue Mall). The window soundproofing is not so good but the road itself gets quiet during the night so we have a pleasant sleep. Overall, it's a great stay

The unit is too humid due to the lack of ventilation and bathroom fan not working, some wall paint on living area bubble or peel, bathroom ceiling is a bit moldy too, and the curtain smells musty. 3-5 mm cracks are visible on several walls, renovation is due. One side of the sofa smells like urine when we sit on it (which cause air to be pumped out of sofa and bring out the smell), it's dry though so maybe previous guest's child peed it accidentally and it absorbed to the cushion. Not a big problem as long as we don't sit on it

Great location. A lot of famous eateries, a shopping mall, and a convenience store nearby. Large room and good privacy. Each hotel room has a completely separated unit. Comfortable and quiet. The bed is very comfortable, not too soft and not too hard. Soundproofing is very good, so although one of the rooms is facing main road, I could sleep very soundly throughout the night. Attentive staff. Although the reception is empty most of the time, the hotel staff is contactable through WhatsApp or phone call. Very clean. The living room, bedroom and bathroom all are super clean!

The room smells bad but this is not their fault. The outside of the room have the exact same smell as the room. We used a room air freshener (gotten from the nearby shopping mall) and the bad smell went away.

We arrived past midnight; there was no one at reception, but a staff member arrived within minutes of us calling them to tell them that we had arrived. The location is central to where we want to go. It is a known address for Grab food delivery. making it easy for us to order our food on days that we decided not to go out.

A little bit noisy because it is on one of the main roads. Also, as there is no curb, it is a bit difficult to get in and out of the Grab car unless we wait as the end of the lot where there is a side curb for cars to park

Big space, location was very central! Right next door to a mall and the Hin Bus Depot. 15 mins walk to the heart of George Town. The rooms were clean and the AC was effective. Clean bathroom!

My biggest issue was that the internet did not work the whole time despite mentioning it to the staff for all 10 days of my stay. I had used up all my internet data while I was there. This was extremely annoying and a big pain since I work remotely.

It was great to have an apartment with lounge and kitchen including a washing machine. Location was fantastic, close to a big shopping centre and bus station.

There was a musty odour in the bedroom when aircon first put on but seemed to settle. There were flaky patches on the wall in the hallway but it didn't worry us as the price was so good for all the amenities

Washing machine with liquid detergent provided. Walkable to many eating spots and stores. Very accomodating to our check in and check out arrangement.

The stairs leading to the property. Stroller, luggages need to be carried up and down the stairs (no lift). Grab drivers need to be “strategic” in dropping off as it is near a traffic light. Ironing board is too “thin” leaving marks on clothes.

Lovely apartment. Loads of space. Washing machine! Balcony useful for drying clothes but a little too smelly to sit out on. Easy check in by very helpful gentleman. A great comfortable space. Very close to local Food Market & restaurants. Serviced daily. 15 minute walk to free local bus stop. The CAT.

Be aware that the apartment is noisy. Its located on a busy road & we used ear plugs for a good nights sleep.
