Location was great. Walking distance to old town. Close to hawker centres. Clean place. Was a big room which was amazing. Filtered water machine outside rooms was convenient. Pool was amazing though their floor tiles were super slippery

Place looked a bit tired. Light switches were confusing re switch to light, and there were lots of lights... wrote to hotel prior to arrival re beds/sofa bed- cot was prepared but sofa bed linen and blanket were not. And not enough towels. Too late in the night to call as we arrived late. Breakfast wasn't too bad but nothing amazing. Confusing for the concierge, hotel rooms and breakfast place to be all in different buildings.

The hotel is new and modern, and everything is very clean. The beds were comfortable and the room (deluxe suite) spacious. Everything we needed was provided. All the staff were very friendly and keen to accommodate any requests. I think that the hotel is a great base for exploring George Town, with the old town, the street art, and many good restaurants within walking distance. There is also a shopping mall directly opposite the hotel, which is convenient. There is an infinity swimming pool on the 14th floor which offers good views of the city.

We stayed at the Granite Luxury Hotel for 20 days in the Deluxe Suite. The suite with its facilities was immaculate and provided everything we needed. The lovely pool and the executive lounge area were the perfect place for relaxing or reading a book. The Gym allowed us to keep up our daily fitness routine. In short it was home away from home. However the greatest Hotel asset were its staff. Nothing was too much for them and everything was done with a smile. Harun our assigned Housekeeping Ambassador went the extra mile to ensure our stay was as smooth as possible and he made us feel at home. His customer focus was exceptional.

Good location, 10mins walk to George Town central foodie streets which offer chendol and famous laksa etc. Lots of to do within walking distance which was the main reason we booked this hotel. Room was spot on, clean and spacious. View of main road and opps ''The Top'' building. 1 shopping mall close by and awesome Japanese Restaurant downstairs. My husband used the swimming pool which he said was good to relax in.

We had some bad sleeps because of noisy rooms next to us. From late evening until 2am until they went out for partying. Not hotel’s fault but I did request a quiet room, which they put me right outside of the lifts and noisy neighbours. Not very impressed by that. Minor issue: please consider put warming signs down for gaps in bathroom--- the door to main area, to toilet and to shower. They all black surfaces and lighting was not exactly bright enough to see and expect gaps in and around. There were many times I felt I could twisted my ankles. Also as 4star rating hotel, I would expect staff do a bit extra for guests. No refill for tea and coffee, creamer and water. One toilet roll unless asking, quality of bath sheets and mats were quite poor.

The hotel has a grand lobby and we felt very welcomed by the staff at check-in. We really appreciated the attentiveness of the hotel staff: in particular security supervisor Viknesh, Salim in housekeeping and Joshua in reception. The cantilevered acrylic swimming pool high above street level is pretty cool!

The entrance to the tower car park and the drop-off area are short and narrow; you have to drive very carefully to avoid scratching the car paintwork. The styling of the classic suite is too trendy and doesn’t give a sense of timeless grandeur per the ‘Granite’ name of the hotel. The spacious classic suite provides the ability to take meals in the room; except that you have to request the plates, cutlery, tea towel and cleaning materials. It would be much better if these were available immediately in the kitchen. The plastic dining chairs were rather noisy & squeaky!

We loved the location of Granite. It was within walking distance to lots of attractions, eateries & transport. We stayed in the Classic Suite & was more than we expected. The room was huge, includes a kitchette with coffee maker & complimentary provisions provided. All the staff were super friendly and very attentive checking to see if we needed anything. Satar & his supervisor who took care of us & our room were very kind leaving extra towels & going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable.

The bed couch probably needs to replaced at some stage, a bit uncomfortable.

1) Excellent location. 2) Staff especially front desk are responsive, helpful and courteous. 3) By and large a clean hotel. 4) Razzle Suite is more suitable for adults than families

Although the hotel meets our expectations, the following could be improved: 1) The Master en-suite is a good size bathroom but the second bedroom and bathroom are rather small. 2) There’s no window in the Masterbedroom. 3) More space and hangers in the bedroom and bathroom to hang clothes. 4) Provision of more face and hand towels, toilet rolls, cutlery, bowls and plates would be appreciated. 5) Bathroom mat was forgotten for two days.

Very nice, big and well equipped room, highlight was the bathtub (had the luxury room), super comfy bed. In walking distance to the main sights in Georgetown (ca 15-20 minutes), big mall is across the street. Very friendly staff. No breakfast but they offer a shuttle to the main breakfast places that leaves 3 times every morning. I did not use it but found it a nice service.

Really minor thing; I needed to work a bit and the room did not have a proper desk and chair. Thus sat on the sofa and worked with the sofa table, was okay, but not really practical. But ideally it’s not a working trip in the first place:)

Beautiful hotel, gorgeous pool, nice workout room, and very accommodating staff (so helpful and pleasant). The hotel is just outside the hubbub which was perfect. Great restaurants and hawker street nearby, mall across the street, a 10-15 minute walk into the middle of Georgetown which is so wonderful. Georgetown, like many SE Asian cities, has streets and sidewalks with huge curbs and not easy to walk, but then you go into the restaurants and stores and they are so so lovely and the food out of this world. The hotel made terrific recommendations. We used GRAB for transport. Cheap and easy city, and so nice to return to this beautiful hotel every evening.

Booked the suite rooms for our travelling group of 11. Nice spacious comfortable suite rooms. Hotel location was fantastic with shopping mall just opposite, many eateries, convenience store and night market within walking distance. Convenient convenient convenient! Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Morning complimentary shuttle bus to nearby breakfast locations was a nice service by the hotel. The kids had a nice relaxing swim at the hotel’s infinity pool, great night views. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at The Granite Luxury Hotel!

Walls are not sound proof, can be quite noisy especially at night when other guest walk pass or talking at the corridor area. More connecting room or suites will be ideal for family travels.
