Very professional personnel at the reception. Paying up for club level room is worth it because of the opportunity to enjoy breakfast in piece and quiet and the daily offering of evening drinks and light food. Rooms are relatively comfortable.

Although hotel is close to China Town, crossing the four-lane, heavy traffic street from the hotel side is not easy. More generally, JEN to Shangri-la is like Hyatt Place to Park Hyatt, so adjust your expectations accordingly.

Location fantastic in Georgetown.

Only one thing. The fish in a tiny pool at the gym entrance. Not great. They had a tiny pool to swim in and looked distressed. No need as you could barely see them. Please remove to a bigger pool.

The property is well located near the bus station, several shopping malls, walkable distances to nearby eateries and attractions. The property is also well-kept and clean.

The sofa bed surface is a bit too hard to sleep on, it is uncomfortable as it causes me back pains. I didn’t manage to sleep that well on the sofa bed. It would’ve been much better if the hotel give the option to replace it with an actual single bed to make the stay more comfortable.

Beds were very comfortable. Swimming pool was good and seemed to be heated. Free local CAT bus (nothing to do with hotel).

TV channels limited. Lounge drinks limited to Gin , vodka, whisky, brandy and beer. They proclaim snacks and soft drinks available outside of 5-7pm, however the only snacks were nuts and iced gems. A daily plate of sandwiches did materialise sometimes, but was hit and miss around timings and was only 1 sandwich type offered, so if you didn't like it..... Tough!!!

Location was very good, walkable distance to most of Georgetown's sights. Komtar bus terminal was behind the hotel, which makes it convenient to travel around the island via the bus that are readily available.

Room was not make up for 1 to 2 days, had to look for the steward to change my towels which were still damp. Not sure if it was the timing, but there were only 1-2 counters opened most of the time when there were 4 counters available.

The only thig is! why are the rooms not cleaned for lunchtime for example? We get up early in the morning for activities and when we return, we have to wait until 1 p.m., which happened often, and even 2 p.m. Would it be possible to please put a sign ''YOU CAN MAKE UP THE ROOM PLEASE'' This sign could perhaps be useful. THANKS.

Lobby was spacious, great aircon, and a lot of area for seating. Decor in the hotel was nice and neutral, the room was clean with full amenities, and the staff were very helpful. Location wise, it was very close to jetties and other main attractions (typically less than 10 minutes grab drive away).

The pool was very basic for Shangri-la. Steam and sauna room was quite small. No aircon in lift, which was weird, and unfortunately left a weird smell in the lifts. The bathroom was slightly small and tight, and I wished they had designed it so I didn't have to close the door to get into the shower.

We loved our stay. We stayed in the family room.and the sofa bed was all set up for us. The room is very considerate and we loved the little kitchenette and the washer/dryer. The room was large, comfy bed and chairs and the bathroom was amazing with great amenities. Staff were attentive and friendly. The lounge access was amazing and the staff were very kind to us and our kids. Buffet breakfast was great too with many choices and no wait times for tables. Location was good and was in close proximity to shopping centres and a bus stop for the CAT bus.

The pool could do with an update. It was a bit sad and needed some attention.

Everything about Jen Hotel is great. From the great friendly helpful staffs which lead to great experience.

The pillows can be better - firmer and higher. Could have provided the choice for guests to chose.

Really nice hotel. Rooms were lovely and clean! Bathroom was nice and clean. Had a great view of the city followed by the ocean! Great staff and service. In-house dining was yummy. Breakfast buffet had so many choices! Hotel is very well located in regards to exploring many of the interesting places and streets in George Town. You can't walk a minute without being hit on the head with a food place.

Bathroom had no extractor fan. When in the bathroom, could hear my neighbours toilet flush...assuming they could hear ours flush. Hopefully, this is all they could hear. When in corridor could hear people talking in their rooms. Maybe on the next upgrade think about better noise insulation...
