No F&B outlets but they won’t do well as there are so many eateries around the place. KK had a spate of water supply issues but the hotel was able to able to provide water and at good pressure too. TV programs are good too. Adequate cable channels when most hotels like it normally provide free to air boring government channels. My room was clean and the bed comfortable and firm. It has a room safe and a mini fridge. Plus coffee making facilities. All told, very good value for money.

Compact, comfortable room with all we needed for an affordable one-night layover. Well located. Handy shops and eating venues nearby.

Our room did not have towels, and it was a bit hard to work out why. Turned out the laundry service let the hotel down. We ended up getting some worn-out somewhat frayed old towels from the staff that were clean and did the job. It wasn't their fault and they were a bit embarrassed about it. Best to know there's no lift, you need to climb the stairs. Be aware some rooms are internal - no window, just request a room with a window.

This is a newly renovated hotel from the old shop lots in Kg.Air. Back in the days, this area was the red light district of KK where you can find illegal Indonesians and Filipino selling condoms along the curbs every 20m on the walkways. Those days were gone and it seems the street has been cleaned up in the past 6 years when I last came here. From the ground floor up, the hotel looks modern, clean and designed with guests comfort in mind. The receptionist though, was not well-trained or just don't have the ability to speak to customers. The counter looks quaint but a little narrow. My economy double room was on the 2nd floor which required walking up the stairwell. Seems like the most complete hotel I've ever seen in it's compactness. Built-in wardrobe, hangers, mini bar, clean sheets and double pillows, remote-controlled fan, aircond, makeup table and mirror, modern switches and walk plugs (at least 3) and one right next to bed, dim incandescence table lamps and wall lamps, down lights, solid towel rack in the toilet, a water hose that does not leak, high-pressure shower with a working water heater, a mirror and a sink that works, ventilator fan, toiletries and clean towel provided. Good job! Nothing is lacking. Everything is solid and working well. 👍

The only 2 things I could overlook considering the room is very good. One piece of cigarette lying on top of the mirror in the bathroom, and water ponding when shower is running for more than 10 minutes.

I appreciated much the 24hr reception, check in after hours and wake up service. Also, their kindness, attentiveness from the man, and from the younger lady reception her information regarding Jesselton Point to get best deals for island hopping. Appreciate the laptop safe and tv cable clear channels.

There’s nothing I did not like. Keep in mind There’s no elevator in the building and it may look a bit like it’s had its years, but place is decent. Improvement in slight smell of mold in the closet.

Exceptional stay. My wife and I did an extremely early check-in due to an early flight. The gentleman who checked us in was very professional and kind. He did not charge us extra fees for an early check in. Clean, quiet, comfortable and very affordable.. Great stay and close to Center Point Mall Sabah. One of my wife's favorites. Hotel Kooler Inn is now my hotel of choice when vacationing in KK. Highly recommend 👍🏾👍🏾

I like the design of the room, it is very unique, classic and beautiful. The place is not far from the Gaya Street Night Market. The place is really good. This is the second time to check in here. Thank you to the Staff hotel there. the rate for this hotel for me ah 8/10 🤍

We were greeted with a smile and check in was quick & easy. The room was clean & comfortable, and I feel good effort has been made to keep the rooms nice. I appreciated the attention to detail, eg windows that matched the decor, also frosted & opened outwards so you could allow air into the room but maintain privacy. WiFi was strong & stable, shower had warm water & the drying line in the bathroom was appreciated. Good location by shops, restaurants & markets, many things in walking distance. Would happily stay again.

Location is very good, 500 m from Gaya street and many restaurants next to the hotel. Staff is helpful and nice. You can leave your luggage to hotel storage after check-out time. The room was small but clean and quiet.

Window in room is covered with semi-transparent film, so you actually can´t see out. But nothing to see there, except the next building´s wall.

Location very nearby to night market jalan gaya on friday and saturday and morning market on sunday. Can take a grab driver to nearby to Sabah Suria shopping centre, wisma merdeka, sicc, centrepoint, waterfront and imago shopping centre

Just the first night where my father complain of itchy bedsheet but the staff promptly change it so it is okay.

Comfy bed, good aircon, good hot water, good location within KK. Shop downstairs and laundry place very close by. Friendly staff.

Slight smell from the bathroom. No water refill available. Slight issue with checking in, although this seemed to be an unfortunate issue and not the staffs faults.
