The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The rooms have a lovely view and a very good size. The swimming pools were nice and clean. However, they close the swimming pool at 6:30 which is not good as it is nice to go into it during sunset and in the evening. There is also a sucking point in the swimming pool ( I suppose how they filter the water) which is very strong and it can be extremely dangerous for someone with long hair. Breakfast was plenty and good. The prices in the restaurant are very reasonable.

The beach is not a nice beach as it is close to a construction site and it gets contaminated.

It's a relatively private place to go despite the holidays. They don't have too many rooms and comes with 2 pools. Even with full occupancy, the pool and restaurant is not too packed. There is a restaurant with a lot of choices so that was convenient because there's not much restaurant in that area. Staffs are friendly. Our check-in & out was fast and smooth.

We booked pool front room but was disappointed when we were given a garden view room. But the receptionist was quick to upgrade us with another room right Infront of the pool and it was great. Beach is not great and has a smell so we just swam in the pool.

Beachfront views and food were really good! Rooms comfortable and a good size. Pool nice .

There is nothing within walking distance so felt a bit trapped - KK markets and downtown was 30-40mins Grab away and 40-50RMB . Nice place to just relax. We had a weekend of events / parties which was great atmosphere but noisy - 11pm fireworks etc. We liked the live music. Worst of all was the sad state of washed up trash on the beach that could be cleaned but ignored by all. So limited beach walking too.

This is a lovely old fashioned property, very well situated, that allows for rest and recuperation. The owner and his wife live on site and are very friendly, working hard to keep up the quality of past glory days. The menu has Australian and Western dishes as well as local ones, all well cooked and tasty. To be offered good quality toast, butter and Dalfour jam for breakfast was a real treat. There is an extensive wine cellar and draught beers. We were upgraded to a sea view room, a very kind gesture as it was so lovely. The owners have plans for some renewals to keep up their high standards. There are beautiful sunsets if the weather is clement.

We were advised not to swim in the sea because of the jellyfish and rubbish on the beach, although the resort did clean the beach daily. There is not much to see in the locality around the resort. (There is a local bus to KK that stops outside.)

Staff is very lovely. Swimming pool is great and private houses are very cute and comfortable. Good deal for the price. Restaurant food is good. 15 min drive from the airport in low traffic time. Beach is a little dirty with garbage that washes up from the ride, but the staff clean it regularly which is great.

Little far from anything, can’t walk to very much in the surrounding area

Room was spacious for the affordable rate. Beds were cozy. A small fridge available in the room. Non-smoking room, with front porch and a set of table and chairs. Our room was right in front of the swimming pool. We stayed on weekdays, there wasn't many other guests around, so we had the pool all for ourselves for hours. We needed an iron, and the staff send it to our room with the ironing board. Free car park, Breakfast was also freely available for guests. A small beach attached with the property. No traffic noise despite situated by the main road.

No wifi (at least it wasn't working during our stay there). Thin walls, we could hear people staying next door. TV channels were all blurry. Bathroom no exhaust fan. Bidet was installed on the left side. Lots of mosquitoes. Property location is far from shopping and eateries. Older properties comes with older furniture. There was some old strand of fabric eerily protruding out from beneath the bed. Housekeeping should pay attention to those things.

Location was gorgeous. Much netter to go from KK airport first to this place than to start in KK city. Great spacious rooms with exceptional view. Also from the terrace. Very comfortable. 2 nice pools. Restaurant also nice view. Staff very helpfull. Bed bit hard like normal in Malaysia, but very comfortable. Both fan as AC.

Some things looked a bit old and there was a little bit of mold in the shower, but for the price not a problem.

Really nice hotel , all the staff were friendly and helpful , the hotel provides a really good breakfast and the rooms are large and comfortable. The swimming pools are a real added bonus .

Although the hotel cleaned the beach every day without fail (well done to the beach guy ) the amount of rubbish washing up was impossible to clear, this therefore made the beach a no go zone ! Also the bathroom could have been cleaner, we actually used detol to clean the shower cubical ourselves .

The location is perfect and I can see why people come here for weddings. I witnessed one the best sun sets of my life from the swings. Nice restaurant and bar. Large rooms and spacious. Was given an upgrade and all. Very impressed

If i had to look for problems as the place as it generally was good. Dated exterior and Bar not open till 6pm

The pool was disappointing. So dirty. The beach. I was expecting something special on the beach. Like wooden pathwalk or mini bridge leads to an inviting horizon in the middle of the water or something. All I got was just plain ol' backyard beach. Boring and dirty. When we planned on coming to langkah syabas, we were expecting beach getaways..
