Service and amenities were amazing. Location was in a very convenient, busy and high-end part of KL

I had booked a city view room to enjoy but ended up with a room with a pretty terrible view facing a building that was half-constructed that took up 80% of the vista. The staff were so lovely that I knew there wasn't much they could do and didn't want to give them a hard time, but the booking should add a note there are rooms with different city views... for the price that I paid I definitely was expecting a better view

We had a 2 month old newborn with us and the hotel staff made it so welcoming and accomodated for all of our needs. It was also im celebration for my birthday and belated anniversary. So the staff prepared 2 cakes, decked the room with birthday balloons as well as a beautiful serenade of a greeting durinh our breakfast with the KLCC and menara view in the bacground Not my first stay at the Banyan Tree Hotel but they went above and beyond my initial expectation with my second time rouns esp with my small family Although it was leading ASEAN summit week, and most places are blocked off, the location of the hotel was strateguc that u will not get stuck in the middle of bukit bintang traffic

The swimming pool is not heated so it can only be used comfortably on hot days. It's a shame because it has the best views in the building

Service staff was always very prompt to reply to co-ordinate a celebration arrangement during my stay. That was very helpful.

Repeated e-mail request from different service staff for the same personal infornation to speed up check in before arrival. Though same information was requested again before checkin. I had booked 3nights, then an additional night. Though the staff had taken note, and assured they are aware it's a 4nights stay instead of 3nights. I still kept receiving e- mails for 2 separate checkin. On 23rd April, though it was empty, the staff at breakfast area, took a very long time to come back to us to allocate a table..until we just decided to walk in, to the very empty breakfast lounge. Breakfast was ala carte menu, and was the same throughout our stay. Food quality was just okay. Expected more from Banyan Tree.

Breakfast & Dining: The breakfast at the restaurant was a highlight, with excellent à la carte dishes. The buffet selection wasn’t particularly exciting, but the quality of the served plates made up for it. The stunning view from the restaurant added to the experience. Pool & Views: The pool and massage tub were relaxing, offering breathtaking city views, though we did notice mildly dirty windows, which slightly detracted from the ambiance. Location & Convenience: The direct overpass to Pavilion Mall was a major plus, making shopping and dining very convenient.

Maintenance Issues: Some details fell short of luxury standards. For example, our bath tap was visibly mended with white Tec paste, which looked unrefined for a high-end hotel. Sewer Smell in Shower: For a brief period, our shower had an unpleasant sewer smell, which was surprising given we were on the 55th+ floor. While it resolved by itself, it did disrupt our experience. Buffet Could Be Improved: The breakfast buffet lacked variety, though the cooked-to-order dishes were excellent.

I like the room; it's clean and quiet.

The breakfast menu was limited.

The rooms were absolutely beautiful. We loved the large comfy bed, spacious bedroom area and cleanliness. The room was made up perfectly each day, and we loved the warmth of the turn down service laying out slippers and lighting scented incense. The bath was also huge and perfect to sink in to after a busy day. The pool area is amazing, with a view of the Petronas Towers. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. The spa was excellent and reasonably priced.

A few areas for consideration for enhancing guest experience, all very minor: - some way of ordering drinks at the pool. Spending the afternoon there and not having a way of getting a drink felt like a missed opportunity for the hotel. - the app shared in advance, through which we made a few reservations, didn't really work as when we turned up for our drinks at Vertigo they had no record of our booking. I showed them confirmation and they took us to a perfect table, so it didn't matter - but if it worked would be a smoother guest experience - some way of making the entrance warmer. Reception on 53rd floor means entrance at floor 1 can feel a bit cold. Minor but worth considering a desk or something down there if possible.

Our stay was nothing short of exceptional, thanks to the hotel’s unwavering commitment to hospitality and comfort. Whether it was arranging dinner reservations, offering local tips, or simply checking in with a smile, their friendliness and professionalism set the tone for a truly memorable experience. The room was a sanctuary of modern luxury. Sleek, contemporary design blended with cozy touches like plush bedding and soft lighting. But the real showstopper? The TOTO toilet—a high-tech marvel! Heated seats, bidet functions, and a self-cleaning feature made every visit to the bathroom feel like a spa indulgence. We’ve never been so excited about a toilet! The breakfast was an absolute delight. Beyond the usual buffet staples, the spread included gourmet cheeses, artisanal breads, made-to-order omelets, and fresh tropical fruits. The surprise bottle of champagne at breakfast (a lovely touch!) turned our morning meal into a celebration. Sipping bubbly while enjoying panoramic views? Yes, please! And oh, the views! Our room overlooked a glittering city skyline, and we spent hours soaking it in from the restaurant. Sunrise painted the sky in pastels, and sunset turned everything golden—pure magic.

Honestly, it’s tough to criticise such a stellar experience. If we had to stretch: The bathroom floor could be tricky and slippery. The champagne at breakfast was such a treat—we wish it was a daily offering!

We stayed at the beginning and end of our Malaysia holiday. First in the premium king and next in the signature king. Both rooms were amazing but the signature room has the most incredible views of the landmarks. The room is beautifully and sensibly appointed. The breakfast on the 58th floor Horizon restaurant is a spectacular way to greet the day. The breakfast provided offered options for all cultural preferences.

The disconnection for guests with the reception area away from the lobby is unusual and it creates a communication barrier. That said, upon my return to Kuala Lumpur I was feeling unwell and I was given good advice for medical assistance, along with very quick responses for honey and lemon. The next morning, the staff inquired how I was feeling now. This was very much appreciated.

I recently enjoyed an upgraded room at sky suite for my Wife birthday celebration, courtesy of the hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring a warm welcome and attentive service throughout our stay. The upgraded room boasted stunning views and spacious comfort, complemented by thoughtful birthday amenities. The hotel's spa services were also top-notch, adding to the overall relaxation of our experience. Additionally, the breakfast dinner at the hotel was incredibly yummy, further enhancing our delightful stay. Highly recommend for any special occasion.
